I place the order again, this time when I come in, the printer is malfunctioning and there's ink blotches all over the back of it. Not a big deal since no one looks at the back of the pictures, but then he informs me that he wouldn't be able to give me the photos because I would need a copyright release form from the photographer that took the pictures of my family. I have been to this store various times and tried various different products from them. They have many different unique scents that are very nice, and the staff is always helpful and very friendly. HOWEVER.. I have now purchased three separate products which, despite supposedly being crafted from all natural stuff and no chemicals or whatever, leave AWFUL stains in our bathtub due to strong dyes in use in them. A shower steamer and a bath bomb I bought, both colored yellow, both left separate oily, yellow rings around the tub that are extremely difficult to remove, even with scrubbing and elbow grease. A bar of soap I bought also has a hot pink dye in it which has dyed absolutely everything in the shower: the walls, the floor, my hands, the washcloth, the other bar of soap, the shelves.. This does not seem right for something that claims to be all natural. The dyes are too strong and they are literally ruining my bathroom. I don't like feeling like I can't try their products without having to factor in how I will clean them. This will have to change before I would spend more money here.

So last minute I had to find a stylist so I decided to try Martha's shop. I will say that the shop owner and the lady that did my hair were both very nice. Just the professionalism and product wasn't good. I made an appointment for 8:30am to get dye weave sewn in. I dropped off the hair in the morning the day before the appointment and I was told that the hair would be dyed by the time of my appointment. On the day of the appointment I was called by the stylist and told she would be 30 minutes late. That's fine, I just told her I had to be at work by mid afternoon. When I got to the shop to wait for my stylist, the owner was still dying the hair. My stylist came in 15 minutes after the already pushed back time and she didn't start on my hair until about 20 to 25 minutes after that. Because I had to work in the afternoon the timing was stressing me out. The way the stylist braided my hair under the net left a bump at my side part. She left way more leave out than I wanted exposed. In all the years I have gotten a sew in I've always had a stylist that was able to make my hair flat. I pointed the bump out to her but she kept telling me that it would flatten... it didn't. Part of the hair feels oily, I am assuming because it wasn't properly washed after it was dyed. I spent $350 on hair that is not up to par with what I usually get. I think maybe this was just a one time bad experience because the reviews I'd seen before were good. I was charged almost $500 for a bad haircut and a hair color job I didn't ask for or want, after specifying what I did want. I don't see how that price reflected the "free haircut" at all. I went here after talking on the phone and texting with Denielle about what I wanted, including pics of my current hair color and length. I was told I'd get a "free haircut" with color. I specified I wanted bayalage over my current color, and to blend out my roots, and sent pics of what I wanted. After spending 4 hours in the chair, the color I got was a brown with warm blonde highlights and was okay, but not what I wanted. During the process Denielle made it clear that she's not comfortable doing anything outside the natural color range, and what I wanted (strawberry brunette) was apparently too outside her comfort zone. She teased my hair during the coloring, and I have fine hair, so she spent a lot of time yanking out all the tangles out afterwards, which was painful and avoidable, not to mention DAMAGING to my hair. I've been told by other colorists that teasing hair during color treatment is big no-no. She put in a LOT of blonde highlights which was the opposite of what I was looking for, including in the under layer which was just weird. I had asked for bayalage, not highlights. I've had some great stylists, and I know the difference. I've had vivids and bayalage with multiple colors and have NEVER spent that much on a single hair coloring session. The haircut took over an hour, and when I got home I noticed that one side was noticeably longer than the other, and the "face framing layers" I'd asked for were just a single choppy layer on one side of my face. I had to get the cut fixed at another salon the next day, it was that bad. The worst part, other than being so horrifically over-charged, was having to listen to Denielle trash-talk her boss (the salon owner) and complain the whole time. 4 hours of negativity. Honestly I should've complained before I left but I just wanted to get out of there after being there for 4 hours. See pics below for reference.
