Since my son will be moving to Arizona (a desert state) soon, I wanted to make sure he will be well stocked with the best sunscreen out there. I did my research and I was so happy that they carry the products here. Must be my lucky day because there was a summer sale going on...Get 2 Sunscreen Products and Get 1 Free. 90.9% of people in Seoul, Korea wear sunscreen on a daily basis. Children there are taught to protect their skin early on. When I visited South Korea last year, I noticed that all vehicles there have tinted windows. They really take their skincare seriously. Another reason their sunscreen products stand out, there is no nasty scent, it's not sticky, you can apply your makeup afterwards. I absolutely love it. Extremely helpful and friendly employees. I'm excited to try some new cleansers I got as well. I'm teaching my son that men have to take care of their skin too. Most of the products have Korean labeling but on each product display shelf, it explains what it does in English. Some of the tags will tell you that it's the #1 selling item in Korea. The best part...the prices!!! I felt like I hit a gold mine and made out like a bandit.

After my recent trip to Japan I was bummed I wouldn't be able to restock on my favorite products anytime soon until I came across this place! They had a great selection of makeup, skincare, and beauty products to choose from! They were a great price range compared to trying to find them on Amazon! The aesthetic was so ADORABLE too! Between the pink shopping carts, claw machines, and overall set up, this place radiated good vibes!

Even the packaging for everything was so cute that you didn't want to open it! In the future, I hope they can add better signage because it can be tricky to find what you're looking for. Stop by to shop if you're looking for any of the following: *Asian cosmetics- They have everything from makeup to skin care to hair care. There's a few well-known Korean and Japanese brands like innisfree, peripera, and more. Testers for makeup products are available! *Asian snacks- Towards the back of the store, you'll be able to see aisles of ramen, mochi, candy, chips, drinks, etc. There's a lot of unique snacks for good prices. *Toys - There's a small section selling character collectibles from popular Japanese culture, plushies, claw machines, and more. There's a bunch of other miscellaneous items like slippers, luggage, silverware, etc. Oh... and they have pink shopping carts! I'm a sucker for pink.

If you are currently sitting in your car scrolling through these reviews, excited for your…read moreappointment.... let me save you. Put the key fob down, turn the car on, and leave. And never come back! Like many people, I was excited to book an appointment here because I've had great experiences with Ulta Beauty salon services in the past. Unfortunately, this location was a very different story. I booked a wash and blow dry appointment for 6:45 and arrived early at 6:30. The entire reason for this appointment was simple: I have work tomorrow and needed my hair blow dried. I clearly stated this and received a nod of agreement. My hair was washed and conditioned, and I thought, great, we're off to a good start. That optimism lasted exactly five minutes. What followed was thirty minutes of detangling... and while I understand detangling is part of the process, this was slow, uncomfortable, and completely overtook the appointment. I stayed quiet at first, assuming we'd move on shortly. Another 30 minutes passed. At this point, I gently said that my hair didn't need to be perfectly detangled, my main priority was the blow dry. It was now 7:18 PM when I was informed about an optional deep conditioning treatment that supposedly makes detangling easier. I'm still not sure why this wasn't mentioned before we spent an entire half hour detangling. Then I was told that if I chose that option, my hair could not be blow dried. Pause. Because my appointment was for a wash and blow dry. I declined and reiterated that I wanted my hair blow dried. I was told "okay." Perfect. Except then I was informed: after all this time.... that I would be charged a detangling fee. When I asked why this hadn't been explained beforehand (especially since budgets are a thing), I was told the fee would be $85. Please imagine my face. At this point, a manager became involved, and unfortunately the outcome stayed the same. By 7:30 PM, I was told that I would not be receiving the blow dry I booked. I work Monday through Friday and simply wanted to leave with dry hair. Instead, I left wet, frustrated, and in a damp shirt. I was offered a return visit the next day for them to finally blow dry my hair, but by then the damage was done. Playing with someone's hair in a world where appearances matter this much is wild, and it's not something anyone should have to experience. This location was incredibly disappointing. Learn from my experience and proceed with caution, or better yet, don't proceed at all. -- Signed, someone who truly just wanted a blow dry

The employees there are very knowledgeable and helpful. However, during my visit recently, i felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. I transparently said I don't know anything about makeup and need help looking for concealer for my dark spots. After looking me up and down, this employee reluctantly helped me. I didn't get her name, but at the risk of sounding racist she was African American, with bleach blonde hair in her braids. She was rude and condescending when I asked questions. But she prided herself on finding the right color tone. I didn't even want to buy the product and couldn't wait to leave. I value good customer service, and I hope management will ensure staff treat customers with respect and kindness moving forward. This just left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be going to this location again.

Receptionist asked if she can assign me with someone else. I said anyone but Jimmy (owner). My son and I had him once before and he did not do a good job. When I walked in today, they gave me Leo. He took over Allen's station. I asked for 2" off with lots of layers to give my hair some volume since I have very thin hair. Leo showed me how much he would cut off and I gave him the go ahead. I thought Asians are supposed to be great at math but holy shhhh he started cutting and cutting and cutting and it got shorter and shorter. At this point it was hard for me to say something. Pretty sure that he cut off FIVE whole inches. Not only did he cut off 5" but the layers he gave me were very choppy, it looks like he hacked it with a saw. The receptionist came by to sweep up my hair with a dust pan and my eyes were bugging out because I was in shock at how much he cut off. I spend an obscene amount on high quality hair products at home to keep my hair healthy. Now it looks like shhhh. Never in my entire life have I ever gotten such a bad cut. I know it's just hair and it will grow back but I felt I need to write this review to warn others. When layers are trimmed, it should fall softy and naturally. He also thinned out my ends so much that it looks weird. OMG!! I can't!! The strange thing is, all the best stylist at this salon, Allen, Ben, Jackie left. Now I will have to go into NYC to find a new salon. This has traumatized me.
