These small trim scissors tend to get a little pricey but the price was not an issue to me. I opened the package not only were the scissors been used but I believe someone returned them and the workers or the manager reseal the box and put them back on the shelf. The scissors do not cut at all and there were defects on the scissors and I was able to tell that they've been used Rather than put them back on the shelf for resale they should consider return items as either damaged items or not for resale items. The workers at this facility are not very friendly at all and they all seem to have quite a bit of attitudes they make you feel like you're bothering them. Some people should be so lucky that they still have jobs.

However, I have infiltrated said store several way. Those being: my two best friends, my bf. I've frequented CosmoProf several times and have always encountered friendly staff that's willing to come out from behind the counter to assist me with looking for nail polishes (I have the bf to retrieve my hair needs). The staff is always really friendly, even to an outsider like myself and usually chit chat w us while we browse. The prices are a-may-zing..I mean really, you can't beat $4.50 for a bottle of OPI. I also have gotten great deals on hair products such as $8 bottles of Aquage finishing spray, awesome sales on liters of shampoo and conditioners of all varieties and countless other products (ehemmm Quick Tan spray for $10). The only minor bummers are that a) they do not sell Essie, b) they sell out of OPI collections quickly (since this is beauty industry exclusive and those people are always quick to snatch up whatever's hot)..and c) I cannot shop here unsupervised, which may actually be a good thing since I'd surely head home with one of everything if I was left to my own devices.

The clerk asked my name and said she would help me. A customer came in after me and the clerk started helping her instead of me. The clerk even said to me I could be her audience as she applied the makeup to the customer who came in after me. After 10-15 minutes I walked out. The clerk acknowledged me and then by passed me. I have money. I was dressed nice. The only thing I can think of is I have some wrinkles. In fact my birthday is today. I'm very disappointed in my experience.

Ideally, Lynn does more of the hair clients and Laurie works with the nail clients - I actually use Laurie for my haircuts as well. Normally I do not trust anyone to cut my hair (several bad hair experiences) but after moving over an hour away from my usual hair lady - I was happy to find Laurie. She really takes her time and makes sure you are satisfied. She is the only person I will let touch my hair - and I live over 200 miles away now and still go to her. I also have her cut my boyfriend's hair (and my dad's.) She is also INCREDIBLE at nail designs! She can pretty much do anything you want! Both girls are exceptionally talented and the sweetest! This salon is truly a little gem hidden away in downtown Oswego!
