Shaz has been cutting my son's hair for years. He knows just how he likes it and he refuses to go anywhere else. In the 10 years he's been going, his haircuts and beard trims are top notch. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and quiet. No blaring music, like lots of salons, which allows for precision focus. For a fantastic mens cut and/or shave, we wouldn't dare go anywhere else. Shaz is amazing, very nice, and very popular, so he fills up fast. We try to book the next cut online shortly after a cut to keep on a schedule. Really nice place . Cut my hair very quickly. Shaz is really friendly and can hold healthy conversation. Shaz cut the hair extremely well and I am definitely going back there. Few things for suggestion is for first timer, when text is sent for appointment reminder (either on email or phone) have some thing in there that say the location of the Studio is inside SAAS building because from GPS it's kinda confusion as there is no sign outside for the studio. I moved out of city in August of '14 and had to find a new barber after 3+ years with my previous barber (I don't like to change who cuts my hair). After several disappointing haircuts, I found HoH online and have been going there ever since. Consistent, solid haircut at an affordable price. Easy-to-use online booking helps a ton too. My only complaint is that the location is a little bit hard to find (only an issue on your first visit) as it's tucked back behind some other buildings. Thanks HoH and see you again soon! read more

Top notch service- Shaz does quality work. Seeing this is a one chair barber the service is nice, the shop is well maintained and very clean. Coming from Fort Lauderdale every guy knows leaving your barber is a task that is hard, especially since I moved to the Naperville area. It's a nice feature to book appointments through his online service and he has several options on how he takes payment. His prices are reasonable (but not to my liken) but I I find myself going here at least once a week ( gotta stay sharp) guess overall the barber industry has gone up. Shaz is phenomenal! I've lived in the Naperville area for about 7 years now and ever since I moved here, I've struggled to find a good barber. Thankfully, I've now found a GREAT barber! I used to go to another place in Aurora and they could never get my haircut right. I'd show them a picture, I'd tell them the name of the cut and would end up leaving with something that wasn't even close. And I won't even get started on the butcher job they did on my beard. On top of it all, I went in at least once a month for a year...to the same woman...and it never seemed like she knew I was, let alone remember how I wanted my hair cut. Had to show her a picture every time. After being upset (and having to come home and fix the haircut myself) over and over again, my wife finally talked me into going somewhere else. I found Shaz here on yelp. Great reviews so I figured I would give him a go. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was at home. It was comfortable and Shaz is very personable. We talked about common interests and I left with probably the best haircut I've ever received! I've now been going to see Shaz at least once a month for the last 7 months. Everytime I go in, Shaz remembers me, he strikes up a conversation about what we talked about last time and HE REMEMBERS HOW I WANT MY HAIR CUT!!!!! And he does it phenomenally!!!! And the price....for the same price as the other place I get a MUCH, MUCH higher quality and professional haircut, his beard trims are on point and finishing off with the straight razor...amazing! Makes me feel like I should be in the wild west, drinking whiskey and getting a shave. And on top of it all, you can schedule an appointment with him. I don't have to go in and wait for the next available person or wait in line. I schedule my appointment, show up and he's ready for me. Shaz is the best! I think at this point, if he ever moved out of state, I would probably quit my job and follow him just so I didn't have to go back to mediocre haircuts again! Go see him!!!! read more

Came in the morning, got our fresh cut, not only that - i got the cut the way i wanted and left off to the wedding, Shaz was focused and his service was done without any distractions, he did not stop while working and joking with us. First time trying it out today and this man just gave me the best haircut/shave ever. He knew everything about my hair and beard before I even needed to tell him and gave me great advice and tips on how to take care of it. Great place tucked away in the SASS building between Nequa Valley HS and Rt 59. No appointment necessary, first come, first served. It was apparent right away that Shaz loves what he does. I immediately felt like we were old friends and asked him for his advice and opinion on cutting my hair. The cut was spot on and the shave was outstanding. I left feeling great and smelling great. Even my wife and son commented on how great of a hair cut I had just received. Shaz is an artisan and craftsman and I'd rather support small businesses like this rather than the cookie cutter places, especially when his prices are reasonable and the quality is 10x better. His shop is cool, it has a retro vibe, kind of like something from the rat pack. This is how men's haircuts are supposed to be. read more

I brought my son to see Shaz for an emergency haircut while visiting family and I'm so glad I did! Shaz takes his time and knows his stuff. I'm super picky and was very pleased with his service. I should also note that living in Los Angeles, barber shops are plentiful so my husband and I (more him obviously!) feel like we know a good one when we see it. Not only is he skilled as previously mentioned but he keeps a super clean shop and his prices are VERY reasonable. In fact he could probably charge double and it would still feel like a deal.
