My husband is a barber so we have been here quite a few times. I still remember one time he purchased a pair of Oster Classics and wanted to return them because the clippers were defective and the manager really told him "we don't have any cash in the register at this time". WOW just went into this store to purchase some hair color with my mother and the manager with the big 80's hair gave us the biggest attitudes. The store opened almost an hour ago and I paid with a $20 bill and she asked if we had the change and we said no sorry that's all we have and she remarked that it was too early for her to have that kind of cash in her draw and that she almost couldn't sell the product to us. No smile, have a nice day nothing. My mother told her to have a nice day and she just had a scowl on her face and said nothing. I will not be returning to this location. This is the most poorly run Sally's with the most unprofessional staff. I used to shop there frequently making large purchases until the store manager wouldn't honor my rewards coupon for 15% off. I still made my over $100 purchase that day and committed never to return and I haven't and I will not. Obviously, customer retention of those who spend money in that store is not important. I went into Sally's tonight, and they were amazingly helpful! I was greeted when I walked in the door and was given some time to browse the selection before being approached for help. When I did ask for help, the women working were very helpful and answered every question I had! I was buying some temporary hair dye, and they asked if I had experience in hair dye (which I do) and they helped me find exactly what I needed. The store was very clean and organized. This review will hopefully validate anyone else who has been unfortunate enough to have ventured into this dump. The fact that a flyer was on my car when I left that advertised you can use your food stamps to order pizza delivery should tell you a little about the caliber of people they are catering to. The rude, obese, angry, lady (who I believe may manage the store) fits her position in this location perfectly. I have never had any problems with this Sally except for the past two times when this woman has been there. It started with her first needing to roll out of one of the chairs she was sprawled out on in the back. She instantly was annoyed I was there and that she needed to "work". Then I could tell my 12 and 8 year old daughter's, who were also with me, were of much aggravation and concern to her. I told my girls to pick out nail polish so I could focus on what I was there to buy. My 8 year old was touching one of the plastic display nail colors and the flimsy piece of plastic popped off. Big Birtha came stomping and yelling "HEY, DON'T TOUCH THOSE...WHERE DID THAT GO???? THOSE POP OFF AND YOU CAN"T TOUCH THEM!!! UGH!!" My girls were just staring at her scared. I was watching all of this and chose not to say anything at that time. I knew she was over reacting, but I did not want to get into an argument with her, so I was trying to finish picking out one last thing and I hear her yell at my 8 year old again in the front "DON'T TOUCH THAT, THOSE ARE SHARP!!!" My girls were at the counter display and looking at little hand painted women on tweezers (not sharp either). I said to my daughter, "why do you keep getting yelled at?"....and the Beast yells from the register (while she is helping another customer mind you) "BECAUSE SHE'S PLAYING WITH TWEEZERS". I said "I WASN'T TALKING TO YOU". This woman then started fighting with me at the checkout in front of the whole store. I had a few choice words for her after she told me I needed to watch my children better. She picked up the phone and dialed 911 to have me pushed out. Unimpressed, I told her to ring me up so I can pay for what I came for and leave and end the Sally nightmare. She said I was not allowed to buy anything from her store and that the Police would be there to escort me out. All because I called her a bitch for yelling at me and my children. (Which, by the way, I am extremely strict with my girls and it was apparent to me that this fat mess did not have any children because she clearly couldn't judge a well behaved kid if it hand fed deep fried Twinkies to her lard ass). Not to mention, no mother wants to bring her kids shopping with her unless it is absolutely necessary. I should have just said "Sorry Big Birtha, I needed to make sure I was purchasing the right product and forgot to duct tape my kids to the floor before I came to here to shop." Anyway... after her calling the police and her refusing to let me pay, I was at my limit with this woman so I slammed my basket over the counter and called Big Birtha a couple more names. She then followed me and my girls out to the parking lot and was trying to follow me to my car. I flipped out on her in the parking lot to stop following me and had to push her away from me. I was not surprised the Cops weren't there lick-edy split calling for backup. Anyway...this isn't appropriate talk for a nice lady like myself ;). Unfortunately, the way I feel is this lady is one nasty person. Just read the other reviews. It's the same woman. She should not be working with the public. She hates herself (and rightfully so) which is why she is so rude to every person (man, woman, or child) that comes thru the door. I have no tolerance for people like this. Sally Beauty Supply is just as responsible, this is a direct reflection on their reputation for employing this type of character. I would love to really let this woman know what I think of her, but it's not worth anymore of my energy. It ends here. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! The two oversized bitchy ladies that work there have always been rude every single time I have gone in. A few months back, I walked in and one of the associates (big lady with the 80's hair and bad makeup) or whatever she was did not acknowledge me and she just gave me an attitude, looked at me up and down while she cashed me out. In 5 years I've only had 1 good instance of customer service here. Until this one girl started working there that was nice I had been treated very rudely by employees and the manager. Every time I'd go in they would be loudly gossiping about coworkers and various inappropriate things in their lives. Always felt as if they thought I was a disservice to them. Only go to this Sally's if you already know what you want, have no questions, and can't go to a better one. They have no idea what they are talking about, do not trust their advice or the products they offer you. I had to buy two Sally's cards, because the first one I bought wasn't in their system for some reason? Then the second one wasn't in their system either! They were either scamming me, or too lazy to correctly put in my information. Either way, I lost money and time with no retribution. They are always out of stock of something. The employees are careless, lazy, and seem to be unqualified and inexperienced to be working with beauty supplies. When I asked for the best leave in conditioner, they offered me an expensive gooey brand that was horrible. When I looked it up later, it had awful reviews. They told me I would need to bleach my light hair to get it a certain color, when my hairdresser did the color without bleaching and told me there was absolutely no reason I would have to bleach my hair. Don't trust what they tell you, I almost fried my hair for no reason. I have been here many times and would not write such a bad review if I hadn't given this place many, many second chances, but it always disappoints. Not all of the employees are bad, usually the older women are the ones who give the bogus "help", and one younger girl. read more
