I called Dr. Momeni's office a total of three times to vet my insurance, the doctor, and his process before driving an hour for a consultation with Dr. Momeni. I spoke with two different women, including Shannon, and I was extremely thorough. I provided my specific UHC ID number and plan details. The first woman I spoke with told me they accept UHC "as an umbrella" no matter what the plan is. I didn't just take her word for it--I specifically asked for an official check to be efficient. She said sure, I know we take it but I'll "verify". She put me on hold and came back and said "Yes, we take your plan." I even called back a second time to double-check and was told "Yes" again. Momeni was scheduled as an early morning appt, I drove an hour, and took time out of my day. I filled out all the paperwork, gave insurance and Shannon came out and smugly announced they don't take my plan. Instead of treating me with kindness for their massive administrative error, she had a look of pure condescension and blamed me. She accused me of "putting myself in this position" by not disclosing my insurance--a flat-out lie since I gave them my ID number and they supposedly did an "official check" on it. When I responded that I would never do that, Shannon responded with a silent stare-down that lasted a full minute, and then said, 'We don't take your insurance' in a very stern, condescending voice. This was very disconcerting and patronizing. She behaved arrogantly and dismissive, as if she were trying to belittle me. It was frankly embarrassing to be treated with that kind of smugness after I had already double-checked my insurance with their office. And to be accused to deception is something that should have never happen.

She didn't have time for a blowout so I asked for a trim. I already had layers and asked for just a trim and got charged with a curly cut when I didn't ask for one and most of my hair chopped. I was very embarrassed leaving the salon my bangs were so short that they poofed up and stuck up the entire time. I could see it on the hair stylist face that she didn't not even like what she did, I braided my bangs before even paying bc everyone in the salon was looking at me funny. On top of that my hair is botched with a terrible hair cut and terrible color. Do not recommend booking with Sara. Everyone else seemed very nice and positive she didn't speak to me unless it was for the hair only.

I had gotten my eyebrows microbladed ~4-5 years ago elsewhere, and while I was happy with what I had gotten at the time, after seeing Din, I appreciate how much more care she takes in what she does, and the level of customer service she provides. Getting permanent makeup done, especially your brows, is a BIG procedure, and actually, a bit of an emotional one! And thankfully, Din is there every step of the way. I started the process by booking my consultation with her, which we did via Zoom due to COVID. Although I was fairly familiar with the process, she still took the time to explain everything so I was prepared for the procedure, and to allow me to tell her what I personally wanted. From there, we booked my first session! I got a combo brow, and Din took into account the shape of my face and what I told her I liked. The procedure itself was not bad at all; Din numbed me (and continued to do so throughout the procedure). While it is a very similar feeling to getting a tattoo, Din has such a light hand and made sure I was OK throughout the entire procedure so I never felt any pain - moreso I felt the vibrations from the machine and the eventual soreness that comes with getting a tattoo procedure (if you've sat for a tattoo, you know this feeling). (Also, as we got this done during COVID, I must say - Din's office is *spotless* and she took every precaution to ensure that we were safe, and of course, that everything was sanitized for the procedure itself.) Afterwards, she walked me through what I needed to do through the healing process and what to expect - the itchiness, the peeling and how dark and light it would be at different stages (she also provides a cute info sheet!). You can see how my healing went in one of the pictures attached. What's great is that Din also includes a touch-up with the fee you pay, which is amazing and really speaks to how much Din cares about the final result. All in all, Din gave me back my confidence, and saved me a lot of time trying to fill my brows every day!

I decided to go back to the store yesterday to buy the perfume. I did not know the name but tested pretty much everything. Fast forward, one of the sales staff sold me perfume. While I was paying, she told me I have rosacea and said it very loudly (Keep in mind that I do not have rosacea but rather a sunburn from being at the shore for the week). Even after telling her I have a sunburn in my face and my face was hot, the sales lady was quick to ask another associate to put cream on my face after telling her loudly that I am in denial that I have rosacea. I declined. It is troubling to think that someone you have never met, no medical degree or dermatology experience , and limited knowledge, is providing diagnoses to customers. YIKES! The sales person also made faces behind my back while I was paying. How do I know? I could see her doing so in the mirror. Won't shop here again. Unpleasant. Unprofessional There are better locations to shop at.

Comes back and says they don't have it. I go to my car and bring back my phone. I am trying to show him the tracking number from the phone. He insists on holding my phone. Finally I give it to him and say that I don't like people holding my phone. He allows a 5-second delay and says, "Huh?" I ignored him. He then repeats what I just said but in question form. I ignore him. He is doing all this extra reading to just take the tracking number. He lays the phone down and has the hardest time keying in my number. Finally, he verifies it is there. He and another lady go to look for it. She finds it. I said that it was right where he was looking before. He makes an excuse about the print was small and he read a different name. What a lame. Just apologize for taking me through it. He finally scans me out and tells me I am all done. On the other side, a lady is getting her passport pic taken, and it is right next to the chip stand. So I am waiting. He repeats that I am all done like he is rushing me out. I ignore him. The other lady looks at me, and I politely tell her that I want some chips but to please finish with the customer. I get my chips and go. Unprofessional, passive aggressive and rude.
