I also really appreciate how seriously the salon takes COVID-19 protocols. They do not permit walk-ins and do not double book so there is never anyone waiting for a session in the salon. The chairs are well spaced out and they seem to plan it so that not all the chairs are occupied to maintain more than adequate social distancing. At arrival, customer temps are taken and we're instructed to wash our hands before taking a seat. Each chair is immediately wiped down after each service and masks are required while in the salon. I think it's great that they do everything they can to make the customers feel safe.

I randomly came across UberPink Hair from another influencer's page and immediately fell in love. After placing my order , I called with a few questions and Sanndy was absolutely amazing and willing to answer any questions I had. Upon receiving the hair, I immediately seen what all the rave was about! This hair is amazing! The quality is like nothing I've ever purchased and the bundles are very full! As the others stated the hair is very soft and I love the quality! The hair has no tangles and very little shedding. which is a first for me... Grrrr. I was told that due to the influx of orders during that particular time shipping time would take 7-9 business days. Because I was in no a rush for my hair i had no problem waiting it out. I purchased the SEA Straight texture and i have to be honest. This is the best quality hair i have ever purchased! I was on the fence at first being as though theyre an online company. I placed an order on June 26th, it is now July 16th and I have not received any tracking information for this order. The website suggests a shipping timeframe of 7-12 business days. It has now been 14 business days and not even a tracking number or a follow up email. It looks like I spent $679 on air because I still don't have my order. I've spent less money and received my hair within 2-3 business days. Don't even waste your time ordering from these people. They have all the time in the world to post on Instagram daily but packages are not being prepared and shipped in a timely manner. read more

The salon is located in downtown Somerville and has plenty of parking spots around. Public metered parking is pretty cheap and right behind the salon. Carina was my stylist and she did a wonderful job with my hair. I have pretty long hair and just wanted to get my split ends trimmed. She patiently listened to my request and made sure she wouldn't chop extra hair. Most salons charge extra if the hair is longer than shoulder length but SAFFIRE DOESN'T. I also got a 'glaze' done which was only $15 if you use Groupon for your main service. Regular price is about $30 I think. So in total I paid $45 for a haircut, glaze, shampoo and blowdry and that's a steal. Also, Carina was kind enough to run and add coins when my car parking time was expiring since I had product in my hair. They have a cute coffee station with coffee, cookies and other cold beverages. I was surprised with a small goodie bag as a new client. The bag had a hair serum and 2 discount coupons for future services. Overall, I had a great experience from the moment I walked into the salon till I left. I highly recommend this salon. Ask for Carina. She's sweet and the best!
