Best haircut I have had since I moved to Oregon 2 and a half years ago. John is fun to talk to, but also he really knows his craft. I showed some photos and explained a bit about what I wanted and the particulars of my hair, and he knew exactly what I meant, and what would work best. He also showed me how he styled it so I could try it myself at home, which not everyone does. In fact, at my second visit, I told him I went out and bought a round brush, and when he styled it slightly differently, he showed me how to do that, too. I wear my hair very short, so I have had cuts in the past where my hair was a mess after one week, and by four weeks I was desperate. Not so here. Everyone is so nice here, from the receptionists to the stylist themselves. Went in for a free 15 minute consult with Ebby. This was my first time doing anything to my hair by a professional, she was able to explain everything about the process and steps we'd have to take to make my hair pastel bright. Booked an appointment with the next available stylist, which happened to be Aaliyah. She is amazing! She was able to safely lighten my box dyed, dark brown hair to blonde in just two sessions. Went in with frizzy dark brown hair and left with the soft pastel purple and rose quartz mermaid hair of my dreams! I definitely recommend this salon, and Aaliyah for your hair care needs. I love Salon 124! I have been going there for many years and am always extremely happy with the results. Nicole has always been my stylist and never fails to make me feel like I just walked off the runway in a fashion show when I leave there. She helps me to understand the products and we always talk through a new cut or process so that I know exactly what I am getting. Shelah is the best hair stylist I have ever had in my life. I have fine, thinning hair, and it has never looked better. Shelah listens carefully to what I want and seems to understand more than I was able to describe. I am very particular, and am used to having to fix my haircut after leaving a salon. I have never had to do that with Shelah. She also remembers from visit to visit what is going on in my life, and asks specifically about my family. I'm fairly new to the area, and am so grateful that a friend referred me to Nicole at Salon 124. I've never had a better haircut or color. She is extremely talented at what she does and makes your entire time a wonderful experience. The scalp massage when you're being shampooed is pretty amazing, and being offered a glass of wine (or water) at the beginning of your appointment is hard to beat!
