The salon is located inside Sola Salon Studios. I scheduled my appointment online last night. When I went in, Dee was personable & made me feel at ease. She asked what I wanted, and she understood what I was looking for right away. My hair isn't the easiest to blow out, but she knows what she's doing. Love love love my blowout! Blowouts are $25, and an extra $10 for curls. Plenty of parking in the lot. The decor is rustic, and super adorable. Highly recommend & will definitely return!

Their prices are really unbeatable and all the girls who work there are really sweet and so personable. The new owner of the salon is really nice and always works with me. I usually go to Holly who works there- she trims my hair exactly how I want it. I've been to salons where I say that I want just a trim and they take matters into their own hands and chop off 3 inches because they said my hair needed it. Frankly I don't care what they think my hair needs, just do what I ask you to do! Holly every time gives me exactly what I ask for and she blows my hair out with so much volume I just love it. I sat in his chair and ask him to please give me a full head of foils and to make sure he doesn't leave much natural in between. I also asked him to clean out my ends because it's a bit brassy (being a hairdresser myself I know exactly what I want and how to tell someone what I want). He started doing the foils, after the 3rd one I had to tell him again to make sure he stacks them and doesn't leave much natural in between. After coming back from the basin he started to cut my hair, I sat there thinking maybe after he cuts my hair he'll clean out my ends but no he didn't. He started to blow wave my hair I asked him to please put some curls/ waves in my hair. He told me it was too late. No it's not! All you had to do was use a curling tong after blow waving my hair. Or at least ask me how I want my hair styled before styling it. Customer service needs attention too. Anyway I'm not happy. I like my cut but I need to go get more highlights to achieve the look I want!

Tara cuts my hair and I do not trust anyone else to come near my hair with a scissor. She always does an incredible job and recommends great products for my hair as well. All of the other hair stylists are very nice and willing to offer advice. The girls at the register are pretty snobby and uninterested and if you aren't dressed and looking nice you'll get some looks from them. Personally doesn't bother me but I have spoken to other people that get put off by it

It's a far drive for me but I drive a lot anyway and as long as I can manage a vacation day when I see her at least for coloring I can continue to come back to her. The first time she did my hair she did a shaggy bob and recolored it for me. She didn't want to damage my hair so much so she went with a purple color, my hair goes back and forth between pink and purple depending on the level of fading. On my most recent visit yesterday she did a longer pixie because I was debating back and forth between keeping the shaggy bob or going with a pixie. I love the longer pixie and may end up keeping it at least for a few months. Kaitlyn is awesome with hair. She's only at the salon currently on a part time basis, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I loved what she's done so far during both of my visits and definitely recommend booking with her if you come to Shear Imagination.
