By their mistake, they did my services backwards. They washed me prior to adding color. So I got a wash, then a cut and color added...and then a wash and conditioning treatment and blowout. It was all okay! We all laughed about it and my hair was still completely taken care of as promised. I left the salon feeling so good. My hair needed a lot of love, and love it was given. I don't remember who did my hair, but she was wonderful. Everyone that worked my hair was amazing. I will absolutely return for touch-ups on my hair. I showed the girl 3-4 pictures with medium length (past shoulders) with wispy bangs and butterfly layers. I left here practically crying looking like Kevin Sorbo from Hercules. She took off 2 more inches than I asked for (and my hair was long/halfway down my back so there was enough for her to a healthy cut and match the style I asked for). She seemed very inexperienced and clearly she was, which is extra annoying since when I booked I asked for a higher level stylist. After she finished I was clearly unhappy and the other stylist came over and tried to tell me it's just the way she blow dryed it and the cut matches exactly what I asked for (even though every picture had hair past the shoulders and mine ends above mine). She then tried to "fix" the style but it looked basically the same after. At this point I just wanted to get out of here before I burst into tears. I was so flustered to get out I ended up tipping her anyway and I'm so mad at myself since there is not one thing I like about this cut. Cried the whole way home 0/10 do not recommend.

They just said go in for your wash...at no point did anyone introduce themselves. The stylist didn't add a barrier for my skin to avoid the dye staining the skin along the perimeter of my face. Perhaps that person reviewing tease salon is outright lying or has a gripe about something...but it's impossible After living in NYC for 25 years, I tried a few salons on the North shore when I moved back to LI and I am so happy I found tease two years ago, which was recommended to me by a childhood friend. They offer a friendly, family atmosphere and are very talented !!!
