I just came back from my hair cut here and I am very impressed with this place. I had originally had an appointment with Kate, and when I showed her the picture of what I wanted she was upfront and honest with me and said she had never cut hair like that before and didn't want to butcher it since a hair cut and style is so important. I've had bad hair cuts before from hair dressers who didn't want to admit they didn't have experience in doing the type of cut I wanted, so I really really appreciated the honesty, it was a breath of fresh air and she was absolutely the sweetest and very accommodating. She was able to get another hair dresser there to take me as a client instead, I did have to wait an extra few minutes so they gave me a free conditioning treatment while I waited. Which I appreciated as well because I wouldn't have mind just sitting in the waiting area! Then Candace came over to cut my hair and she was wonderful! Very quick and very good. I have a lot of hair and I chopped it all off and it didn't take nearly as much time as other places have taken to do my hair. She was also very knowledgeable because she was showing Kate how to cut my hair the way I wanted it. So we all kind of got a teaching lesson on hair cutting! Overall, even with the slight wait between hair dresser, I love this place and will be coming back. I didn't even feel inconvenienced by the wait, it was truly a lovely experience! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this little salon. I wanted color correction from previous box dyes. Olivia was super helpful, worked with me, and added her own knowledge and experience to help me get to a great color again. The staff was really nice and the shampoo girl was so sweet. My previous colorist moved out of state so I've been looking for another go-to location. Definitely recommend and will return. read more

Came for the groupon for a blowout. Great price!!! Coming from NYC, this salon was relaxing, chic and is owned by 4 sisters. They recently moved to Bayport and they did a great job decorating. Love my hair and will certainly come back for more services when I am in the area. Their prices are reasonable and the other customers hair looked good from what I saw. read more

I checked out Yelp for reviews as I am new to the area and wanted a cut and some 'summer' highlights in my brown (and slightly graying) hair. They set up an appt with Olivia and I could NOT be happier with the color and the cut. She is amazing. The highlights look so natural and great! Just enough. She gave me a cute bob hair cut and my hair looks terrific. It was a little pricey, but I couldn't be happier. My hair looks so great and natural and healthy. AWFUL hair place. Went there for platinum blonde hair..walked out with yellow hair. Went back a second time for it he fixed... walked out with even YELLOWER hair. Amanda did my color twice and even after the countless picture I showed her she just couldn't grasp what I wanted. She recommended a purple shampoo and told me to use it 3 times in one wash to try and counteract the yellow and that turned my hair PURPLE! Then the blonde started fading in silver so my hair was purple, silver and gold! Went back for a refund and every employee had the nerve to say they saw nothing wrong with my hair! They have yet to refund me my money so now I have to go somewhere else to have this atrocious mess fixed! You've been warned, DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I have been looking for a new place to be my "color go to" ever since my old colorist moved out of state. The places I tried, I felt like I would tell them what I wanted and they would do anything but that. I came across this place on Groupon and after doing a little research decided to go with it. I got one for my daughter since she was turning 15 and wanted to do Balayage also. 'Amazing' does not even begin to describe our experience. The place is super cute inside and I felt like Amanda really listened to my daughter and worked with her natural hair. It came out amazing and my daughter is obsessed!!! I have an appointment next week and cannot wait!! After plenty of searching I think it's safe to say that I finally found my new go to place!! read more

Cute little spot. I have to say that I love getting blowouts from different places and I enjoyed my experience. When I visited it was low key which is fine. The shampoo girl, who was also the receptionist listened to exactly what I needed and gave a decent shampoo. I'll be honest I don't remember the girls name who blew me out. I showed her a picture of how I wanted it blown and even though she didn't do that style it came out pretty nice. Being that I go for blowouts all over I know exactly what I like and what I don't. I will say that it lasted 2 days which was ok...I normally get 4 days but I was totally ok with it being shampooed again. I think the girls are nice, the place was clean, the parking was easy and the price was right. I would consider going back for a blowout but it wouldn't be my number one choice. read more

My fiancé's family has been going to Vamp for their weddings & also for color & cuts for awhile so through their suggestion I chose them. Not only was she a lovely stylist, so easy to talk to and I felt that the conversation we had never dulled, but she is also incredibly talented when it comes to hair. Not once did I feel nervous that she was going to mess up my hair as she always seemed to know what she was doing, which I admit gave me a huge confidence in her! Also had my hair cut with Desiree. The first time i went there i was a little hesitant because i found them on groupon and they were offering ten dollar blow outs. I figured id give it a shot for that kind of deal. Upon arrival the store front wasn't in the best location and salon itself wasn't much to talk about. The sinks where they wash your hair absolutely Kill your neck which ruins the experience having your hair washed. The blowout i had done was by Amanda, she was nice and gave me the blow out style that i asked for. i left pretty pleased so i made another appointment for a blowout again with the same girl, i told her how i wanted it and she did the complete opposite. I tried a third time because i wanted to give the girl another shot bc i loved how she did my hair the first time. This time i went in for highlights and a blowout, well needless to say after grueling hours at the salon and a lot of money, i left the salon looking like i had nothing done and was too disgusted that i didn't have the energy or time to complain about it. Lesson Learned. i would never go back there. read more
