They had a basket of slippers to use while getting your hair styled which I thought was a really nice touch. I asked Nicole to give me nice big flowing curls and she did just that. I had a really nice time visiting with her while getting my hair done. I definitely recommend PRIMP for your styling needs. My regular stylist is always really busy doing big color treatments for all her clients, so it is nice to know that PRIMP is here for my styling needs when my regular stylist is already booked. I brought a couple of inspo pics and she was able to replicate with ease. For my wedding day, I chose to get ready at the salon since the interior was absolutely beautiful, you got nice comfy chairs to get beautified in, and it's much more spacious than a hotel room! After I got my hair and make up done, Mallory provided me a cute to-go bag with oil blotting sheets, hairspray, and a bit of the lipstick color she used on me. I'm a crier so I asked if the makeup will hold - Mallory said all the mascara/eyeliner are waterproof and the setting spray she uses are what synchronized swimmers use. When I first moved here I had incredibly short hair - it was buzzed on one side. Now it is almost to my shoulders and I credit a lot of that change to my relationship with my hairdressers. Jackie and Maria are my go to girls - they are fun and respect my wishes in whatever I decide to do. Case in point: I am allergic to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). I don't use shampoo, ever. I stick to Dr. Bronners and other usual hippie-like remedies, as it is the only way for my scalp to not break out in a painful itchiness. I have been to salon's in WA that refused to cut my hair unless they washed it (which is just ludicrous). Both Jackie and Maria are wonderful when I come in for an appointment, either spraying my hair down with a bottle of water or just trimming the ends dry. I always leave with hair that not only feels healthy but looks great. The prices are decent and the work is good. And an added bonus if you go in the morning or afternoon time: listening to old women griping about how hard life is as they get their hair colored. Priceless.
