I never received a confirmation text for my appointment yesterday in Norwood…read more MA location. I unfortunately had it in my calendar that it was for Friday. Without the text, which I'm happy to have anyone go through my phone, I also didn't receive any call that I was running late. I'm always punctual, I always call if I'm even 2 minutes behind. If they had called 5-10 after my appointment, I would have hopped in the car and made it there. Instead, I was charged automatically 25 minutes in while simultaneously getting a you missed an appointment email. The reception claimed the email was the reaching out yet I was Charged that very minute. I'm a loyal customer. I really would appreciate the refund so I can actually get my hair done. I think it's poor service for a receptionist yesterday to tell me to call back this morning and th manger in Norwood to really not care and say she can't do a thing about it. Which is untrue because when my hairs been messed up before by a new stylist , I've been given a redo for free as I looked a tiger one time. I know it's possible but the manager honestly sounded so apathetic and unwilling to even say a call could have been made before charging. I would love for a refund of $88.50 because I genuinely like the hair stylist I've used now for years.

My mother had told me 430 earlier in the day so was going to pick her up and and drop her off by 425ish (we only live1 minute away) but as im about to pick her up the calendar reminder had a pop up that the appointment was for 415. So call the place to let them know we are on the way but will be a few minutes late. The person on the phone says she will have to check with Sophia and then proceeds to tell me they have to cancel my appointment. Then the next appointment they had was for 10 days from now. They might be good for haircuts but their scheduling assistant is horrible. Update for response: when they cancelled my appointment my mother was in the car with me and said we would be there in minute which would be 5 minutes before a 15 minute late grace window EVERY place gives you with booking. She still said they had to cancel the appointment and proceeded to give me a booking date for 10 days later. She was just really just trying to cancel the appointment rather than assist me. Bad customer service.

Because of how fine/straight my hair is, I like a particular style and way of cutting hair that is not "how" it is taught in hair dressing school. Laura has heard this from me and provided a cut that leads from the crown of my part when it is on the side. This coupled with a blunt cut that also is somewhat asymmetrical and yet does not allow the hair in front of my ears to extend any longer when tucked behind my ears. She is also capable of long layers for straight hair to create an effortless flip-up. For my daughter, whose hair is dark blonde, she has provided truly "sun-kissed" highlights that not only looked extremely natural yet also grew out exactly as if the highlights were provided by the sun and were growing out over the winter season. Magical, truly.

The salon is easy to get to, right on Washington Street and parking is a breeze. I love the salons decor and the staff is super friendly. I have been seeing Pam and she is great! I would recommend this salon to anybody wanting the high end cut/color/dry or cut/dry without the high end prices and attitude. This salon also has an esthetician and offers waxing, although I have not tried those services yet.

She grudgingly called my stylist who reported that she had "messed up" and could I come in later. I couldn't. That's why I made an early appointment. Horrible.

If you go when it says there is a 10 minute wait that doesn't include the wait to put you into the system. Which is 10 minutes... and then you get the 10 minute wait on top of that. (which let's be really is more than 10 minutes) There is also a massive sign telling you to tip your stylist. Not a request. Not a suggestion. A demand. Rude much? I accept that it is something necessary but I don't want to have a big sign when I walk in. They don't have enough people and it is always busy. I go here to save money. I put up with all the issues for money. Not going to give a tip because you demand it.

Second, it's nothing complicated. (Long bob with layers inside to add volume.) I've never been to hairdresser school and can do it on other people, I just can't do it on myself. I got up to leave since I didn't want to pay for a haircut I didn't like and they didn't make one tiny effort to try to work with me at all. Normally, I bring myself and my daughters here almost monthly and they've now they've lost 3 regular customers. Not a chance I'll give them another dime. What a waste! Now I am driving across the street to Super Cuts to actually get the haircut I was supposed to get an hour ago!
