Well. In the last 8+ years, I have had 95% bad, disastrous haircuts. So, needless to say, I am petrified of getting my hair done. Basically because every time I need a cut, I end up having to find someone new, because the time before was so terrible. I have crazy curly, frizzy hair. I found the salon on Mydevacurl.com and they said that Rachel was a certified deva cut stylist. I was nervous. because I had never been there before. I called same day and they were able to get me an appointment that evening. Rachel was the most wonderful, communicative, fantastic stylist I have ever been to. She made me feel relaxed, and LISTENED TO ME! I have never had a hair dresser actually listen to what I wanted/needed. She is an absolute artist. She offered me tips for curly hair, recommendations for washing and products, and throughout the cut, she was asking me questions about what I like my hair to do/look like. My sister found hairaholics because they to Deva cuts. I think Rachel, the manager/owner of the shop does them. My sister has been very happy, I am very happy because I found Jennifer. The first time she cut my hair - she did exactly what I asked " just take a little off". My sister was getting her hair cut and highlighted so I hung around the shop. By the time my sister was done Jennifer had patiently cut more off my hair - three times. I knew I wanted it shorter but, I was nervous. Second time she cut my hair - it only took to times to get it where I was thrilled. Granted I was lucky the first time she didn't have a customer after me (she was going home) and second time - well I got my courage up sooner. I see Jennifer tomorrow for color and cut. Just reading the two existing reviews and I don't understand them at all. I have been going to Hairaholics since it first opened (followed Rachel from her previous employer) and any of the hair services I have had have been exemplary (cut and color/foil every time). Very friendly and prompt service (I have never waited). I have recommended Hairaholics to everyone I know and I have always gotten complimented on my hair color - same for my daughter who will only go here for her hair needs. Seems like some might have an axe to grind with those other two reviews but I have always had excellent service and have always found the atmosphere friendly and professional. Nice selection of products and fairly priced. This is a place where the employees and owner will go out of their way to make you happy. read more

I have to disagree with Rebecca. I tried this salon for a haircut, I had purchased a Groupon as well. I called for an appointment same day. The receptionist was very friendly. She was able to give me the last appointment of the day (8:30pm). She even called back to offer me a earlier spot because they had a cancellation. I opted for the later one. Then, the stylist who I was scheduled with accidently cut her herself with scissors pretty badly and had to leave before I arrived. Instead of canceling my haircut the the receptionist called again to let me know the owner would be taking my appointment.. She was friendly and personable and did a fantastic job. They actually fit me knowing I had an event to attend later that night. I would recommend them to anyone and am looking forward to going back. read more

I received a referral from my friend Sandy to see Rachel (owner) at the salon. My stylist went on maternity leave from my previous salon I was going to so I needed to find someone new. This can be very scary! My friend Sandy along with two other co workers go to Hairaholic Salon and told me I would get 25% off for being a new client (their referral program) so this made me feel a little better. I ended up getting a haircut, full color and a few framing high lites! While I was there I could also get my waxing done which was super convenient instead of traveling across town where I usually go. Needless to say I loved my hair and will be returning. I bought a Groupon for a massage. I made my appointment and they were very good about scheduling me quickly because I have aches and pains. The location is right in Mansfield center and is very nice inside. The receptionist was very friendly. Meghan did my massage. She went over any issues I might have and asked if I wanted a deep massage or a relaxing massage. Because of my pain, I went for the deep massage. Meghan was great and very sweet. She worked on exactly what I needed worked on, and gave me a few stretches to help with my tight muscles. After the massage, she gave me a coupon for $20 off my next message. I have personally been going to the owner I this salon since 2004. She runs an extremely good business with upbeat staff that are always willing to help in any way possible. I have recommended all friends and family to Rachel over the years for massage, spray tabs, facials and massages and have yet to hear one complaint. I used to work in Mansfield cross and everyone would compliment my hair and I would say where I got it done. I could not speak more highly of the staff at Hairaholic salon. They not only do their job, but go above and beyond for the community of Mansfield. Anyone that is in the area should definitely try the salon out for all your needs. read more

i am SO happy with my experience at hairaholic!! i have been growing out a pixie cut and have been suffering through a year and a half awkward phase, and my stylist, lyn, gave me a cut with some serious style while i continue to grow out my hair. i was able to book an appointment for the day after my phone call, and lyn and the whole staff took great care of me throughout my experience. after having some not so great experiences at other salons in the past, and being an overly picky customer, i can honestly say that hairaholic truly earns a 5 star rating! lyn, you are my SAVIOR!! i can't wait for my next appointment. read more

I absolutely love Hairaholic! Not only is the decor really nice and clean, but everyone on staff that I have come in contact with or spoken to, was super nice. I get mt hair done by Rachel...she is amazing, professional, and always has awesome ideas for what I should do with me hair! Ariana has done my eyelash extensions in the past and I highly recommend her too!! I read some of the other reviews and they must have been mistaken or isolated incidences... I like doing business locally. When you find a good place to bring your business to in Mansfield that is great for everyone. As a recent transplant to town, I seached out a few new shops to try. I was fortunate to meet Arianna, she loves her career, she always greets you with a smile and has great ideas to share. This shop is clean, music is not to loud and the staff seems very happy to be working there. It is worth a try, and the pricing is reasonalbe. Massage at Hairaholic is fantastic. Meaghan is a wonderful person and she is strong. I've been to many therapists who claim to do deep tissue work but they cannot maintain pressure. Meaghan can. I had Arianna for a stylist, and she was enthusiastic about the drastic change I made, even though it was my first time meeting her. I had a theraputic massage appointment at Hairaholic Salon. I purchase a groupon for a 60 minute massage. The receptionist was super helpful with booking the appointment. The salon was nice, clean and very professional. I had a massage with Meghan who was fantastic! She did a great job incorporating swedish, deep tissue and sports massage.
