I needed a last-minute cut and was lucky to get a Saturday appointment with Carrie Underwood (no relation, I asked!). I had an all-around great experience. The salon is easy to find with ample parking, very clean inside, brightly lit, and welcoming. Carrie was wonderful about listening to what has worked for me in the past and what hasn't. She checked in before we started and did a great job telling me what to expect. My hair looked beautiful!!! I wish I had taken a picture of the waves she got my hair to hold. I really appreciate that she took the time to show me the techniques she was using while styling so I could try my best at home to replicate those waves. 10/10!!! I can't wait to go back. read more

The reviews were right! Absolutely the best hair salon I've been to in a very long time. Wanted a new look so that meant a new hairstyle and Marie did just that. We sat and talked about my kind of lifestyle, then Marie gave me some pictures of hairstyles to look at to show her what type of style stood out and what I liked. Once she saw a trend of styles I liked, Marie took me over to the sink to wash my hair, then sat me in her chair and worked her magic. Marie the owner has been doing my hair for as long as I can remember, and she's great!! Marie also does a few other of my family members hair and always does such a great job. Marie's also done my hair and makeup for prom a few times, which was always amazing! Marie always asks me if I can find pictures on Pinterest or anywhere, too show her what I like and dislike when I'm doing something different with my hair, I always get what I asked for. I joined my sister to go to this salon because it was close to her home. Unfortunately it was the worst experience I have ever had in a salon and mind you we didn't even get to sit in a chair.. My sister was in the salon for about 25 minutes until I came to meet her and then we stayed for another 15 minutes, that's a total of 40 minutes wasted. There were 2 or 3 ladies in the back room talking even though they saw us come in. Another was washing someones hair and kept staring at us. Just so you know we have never been in this salon before and just thought to try it out. There were no signs stating they do not take walk-ins. So ladies whom work here, I hope you know that you guys were extremely disrespectful for not acknowledging that we were sitting in your waiting area for almost an hour! You could have had the decency to let us know that "you guys do not take walk ins but if we would like to make an appointment we could have." It is unfortunate that I will never enter your salon again because of the horrible service you gave to us and by that I mean it is unfortunate for you guys.. read more

So I went in today for my haircut since I was looking for a new place (we recently moved from the Bay Area). I love the cut and style I received, but with that being said I have never- in all my 30 + years -have been in so much PAIN after a haircut! Yes! I said PAIN! My stylist burned my scalp during the blow dry, scraped my scalp every time she brushed, and when she did her technique to run her scissors down my hair it pulled badly. When I finally couldn't stand it any longer I told her how much pain I was in, but I didn't tell her I was almost about to cry from it. I really loved the stylist (she's so sweet) and the final result looks great but I don't think I can ever go back; I'm now scarred and feel the need to take something for the pain. read more
