I have had major back issues, leading to multiple surgeries for fusions, disc work, and an artificial disk replacement, and have muscle issues and pinch nerves all over my back. When I have a flair, Tan uses his majestic anatomy knowledge and massage techniques to bring relief. One thing to keep in mind is that Tan is an amazing neuromuscular/massage therapist and uses specific techniques to find all the right trigger points, stretches and body work that is FAR beyond your typical massage. Majestic Therapy provides some of the best therapy that you can get; however, there should be an expectation/understanding that the therapy is almost a cross between physical therapy and several other treatment techniques, not your normal Swedish or deep tissue massage. I had told them it was my first time so please, tell me everything I need to know, or which mistakes to avoid. The other salon didn't do that. I came out with stained feet, stained palms, lol, and a line on my forehead. Here, the manager told me about about the lotion on the wall that I can rub on my cuticles and hands to avoid that brown color. She told me how to hold my hands while getting sprayed and she said most people put a towel down and stand on that to avoid the stain. I will get her name next time, but she was so helpful, and had been the most helpful since my spray tanning experience. This is the BEST SALON I've been to. I was told they would take care of it, so I left believing my membership was canceled. At no point did the employee tell me that I needed to fill out a cancellation form online or in the store. Months later, I discovered that I had continued to be charged. My account history can show that I stopped using their services after my last visit in July, which is consistent with the fact that I believed my membership had been canceled. When I contacted the corporate office and explained what happened, I was told they would not refund the charges because I hadn't completed the required form. My issue is simple: I would have completed the form if their employee had told me I needed to. Instead, I specifically asked to cancel, was told it would be taken care of, and continued being billed. Mistakes happen. What bothers me most is that corporate was unwilling to work with me after I explained that the mistake resulted from their own employee failing to explain or complete the cancellation process correctly. If you sign up here, be extremely careful when canceling. Do not rely solely on what an employee tells you. Get the cancellation in writing, complete whatever form they require yourself, and keep proof of it. I enjoyed the services while I was actually using them, but the way this situation was handled has completely changed my opinion of the company. Customer service matters just as much when someone is leaving as it does when they're signing up.
