From start to finish I had the MOST phenomenal experience here today. I called the salon at 4:45pm and asked if they could squeeze me in for a much needed cut and she got me in in 30mins! The salon is located In a kind of Victorian style house down town which was very convenient and parking was easy. The inside is very well decorated, the music was perfect, and I was offered a glass of wine right away. My stylist, Parisa, killed the hair game. Washed, toned, cut and layered, she took the picture out of my head and I couldn't be more happy with the end result. The first time I came to Salon Bella it was purely chance. I had gotten a terrible color job done from a salon in the Springs that had rave reviews on Yelp as well as Google. I rely very heavily on Yelp when choosing places I take my business! It was right before Christmas and I was due to leave the state in about two days to see family and wanted to look my best. The color I had aimed for was platinum blonde, I got brassy orange so I was desperate for help. These were full highlights so it was throughout my hair and just looked absolutely wretched. I called Salon Bella and the girl who answered the phone was very sympathetic to my issue and spent about five minutes trying to figure a way she could fit me in to their very busy schedule the week before Christmas. At this point I had called about 5 other shops I had seen on Yelp and no one was able to fit me in. The girl finally found a spot for me but was anxious that (Michele) the stylist she set me up with would not have enough time to fix my hair. The very next night Michele called me from her personal cell phone and asked me very specific questions about my hair and asked to see photos of the damage. This right off the bat was a great show for how much she valued her customers, she wanted to ensure she had enough time set aside to help me with my hair. Upon arriving to Salon Bella, I was warmly greeted by the Receptionist and the waiting area was very nice as well. Michele brought me to her chair and immediately empathized with the terrible color job done by another shop. She brought over other stylists who helped give me advice on my hair and dealing with the shop and their terrible customer service. It was great having someone on my side after the whole ordeal, especially so close to the holiday's. Overall, Michele (who I later learned is a Co-owner of Salon Bella), spent almost 3.5 hours working on my hair to get it to be tolerable and okay for family pictures. I was not only thankful for her ability to help me look my best, I also thoroughly enjoyed her conversation and ability to make me feel like a frequent client although this had been my first time as a customer! I will DEFINITELY be going to Michele while I reside in Colorado Springs and would suggest Salon Bella and their stylists to any person I meet here! :) read more

I am super sad to have to write an update on my experience as i've never done this before and I really wanted to love this place. The second time I went in I got a Brazilian blowout, which didn't hold at all. Like literally, nothing once I washed it (which she said I could do right away unlike a Keratin treatment). That being said, it's possible that my hair just rejected it and it wasn't the stylists fault. But I had a Keratin treatment in the past at another salon which turned out amazing so I think maybe i'll stick to Keratin treatments over Brazilian. The third time I was in Crissy wasn't available and I had an important event so I tried someone else. I wanted to die my hair darker, a deep warm copper/auburn. I brought in a picture of what I wanted. My hair was dyed basically black. Black. It looked nothing like the pic. In the stylists defense she did offer to fix it by adding lighter highlights but that wasn't what I wanted, I dyed it darker to cover my old highlights. Luckily I found a new stylist that was able to fix it and give me the color I wanted in the first place. While she was cutting my hair she told me that my cut was completely uneven and longer on one side of my head! I was very bummed as I really liked the gals at Salon Bella. But I simply didn't have a good 2nd, 3rd experience, hence the update. :( read more

Worst experience ever. I moved to the springs and my hairdresser gave me the formula for my color. I called ahead and asked for someone who could duplicate the formula and cut curly hair. The young lady didn't know how to measure the color using fractions so spent a lot of time trying to show me different color samples when she put the root color on I immediately knew it was too light she said let's see how it develops. I'm not stupid I've been getting my hair colored for many years and I know what my color looks like when it goes on. Of course it came out orange manager gave her some instructions but the more she tried to fix it the worse it got. She didn't know anything about cutting hair. When she picked up a the shredding shears I grabbed her hand and said I've had enough. This isn't working. I was there for three hours and after she took off 20% it was still $120. read more

Place is nice and clean , looks like one of those boutique stores . Little house downtown, pleasant atmosphere. That's all positive I can say about it . I am not sure how many people are working there but I got Chelsey. I was asking for haircut and styling. My appointment was at 6:45 pm on Friday night. I was planning to have my hair done and go on a date with my husband right after the salon. When I was done the lady didn't even asked me if I am happy with my hair. I came out with WET HAIR , no styling whatsoever and TONS of SPLIT ENDS. I specifically asked her to take off all of the dead hair and told her to do what she thinks is right. I am not a hairdresser. She should know better! When she asked me about length of my bangs I told her " what do you think is better " and she reply " I see you first time , I have no idea" . I payed 45 $ plus gave her a 20% tip (because I believe in karma) after that I went home and blow dry my hair myself, cry a little and then went to my date . I guess I'll try my luck elsewhere next time. P.S. I didn't even want to write the review but I made my choice solemnly on reading those reviews and they were all positive so I thought you guys should know. UPDATE So after my first experience I got a call from salon owner. She offered me to come back and fix my hair for free. I was unsure if i should go but what the hell I gave it another chance. I have to tell you that Parisa has magic hands . She gave me advice about my hair and I went with it. She was working so professional and fast and my hair usually takes a long time to style. SO HAPPY with my result. My hair looks alive and pretty . Take a look at the picture. So maybe they do have hair dressers who are not as good but Parisa knows her business. I got my hair cut with Chrissy for the first time. It is a disaster. I showed her pictures and asked for a specific length. I also told her that the most important thing was that I was able to put my hair up in a ponytail when needed. She cut my hair several inches shorter than I asked for, and it's so short that I can't even begin to pull it back. The only reason I gave two stars is because she offered to not charge me when I expressed my disappointment. I appreciated the gesture, but it won't make my horribly short hair grow any faster. Chrissy was so sweet when I got lost and called on the phone. When I got to the salon I asked her prices and she gave me price ranges still keeping to the friendly welcoming demeanor which I appreciated. I asked if anyone was available right then for eyebrow waxing and she was and she did my eyebrows right away and she was knowledgeable about brows because mine came out even (which can be difficult to find someone who can do that with my brows!). Her initial shape after I looked at the was great but not what I wanted I realized, so I asked for more of an arch and she was not offended or rude, very professional and willing, even happy to accommodate my desire. First, I must say that I avoid leaving negative reviews at all costs. I first make absolutely sure there is no alternative. Unfortunately, it seems I must report my negative experience to prevent others from suffering the awful experience I had a few days ago. Hair cutting is a matter requiring trust between the customer in the chair and the stylist wielding the scissors. The power to control such an essential and visible element of the image that the person in the chair projects to the world is an awesome power indeed. It is a serious matter to violate the trust that the client places in the hands of the stylist. Hillary G. had cut my hair a few times before, since Spring 2014. She and I have different personal styles, but she had done a decent job each time and was always reasonably prompt, so I felt the relationship was working for me. She must not have felt the same way. This time I needed to change my look, so I brought pictures to share. I noticed she did not seem all that interested, and she said, "I don't have much time." Warning 1. But she seemed to understand and accept what I was asking her to do. The front seemed to be going okay, but she seemed irritated when I asked to see the progress on the back. I had voiced very specific desires about the back. Warning 2. When she rotated the chair and presented me with the hand mirror, I discovered that she had, in fact, done all the things I had asked her not to do. I objected, and she dismissed my concerns. She did not apologize or admit that she had made an error. Then she mocked me. Then, as she led me to the counter to cash me out and changed the subject, and as I turned to walk toward the door, she swiped at my neck with her razor -- to cut off more hair that she wasn't supposed to have cut in the first place. I was dumbfounded. And angry as could be. I gave feedback through a payment portal and received no immediate response. I called Michele, the co-owner of Salon Bella, a couple days later. She seemed sympathetic, and said I deserved a refund. She would help me find someone else at the salon who would be a better fit for future haircuts. She would speak to Hillary and call me back. A short while later, the first of two hostile and sarcastic emails from Hillary arrived, but she promptly refunded the charges. A second one arrived later in the day. Both messages contained veiled threats, demanding that I never again speak to anyone at Salon Bella. I actually trembled in fear as I read the messages in utter disbelief. I had trouble sleeping afterward. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing for her error, Hillary blamed me for everything and accused me of lying and sabotaging her. And Michele never called me back. I tried again to reach her, but with no luck. It is impossible to express the level of shock and dismay I am still feeling. This has been a horrid experience. read more

Parisa is a gem and a truly gifted artist! She cuts and styles my wild curls and gives me the best blow outs that last for days! I feel so spoiled and enjoy every service. I have tried her deep conditioning treatments once a month for the last three months and I have really seen an improvement with styling and drying my hair at home. She also cuts my boyfriend's hair and she does excellent men's cuts. He looks so handsome and professional from her style selections. She was very nice and easy to talk to, there was none of that sometimes awkward salon chit-chat. She cut a few inches off of my long hair (mid-back), and did a GREAT JOB! My color was perfect and the cut and style was everything I didn't know could be possible. Parisa took time, and discussed my hair, my lifestyle, what I wanted and I could not have asked for more.
