I sent my husband and he picked up 2 scripts and had zero idea about what they were, just that I told him I was notified and to pick them up. imagine my surprise when one of the prescriptions was for a medicine we reported to them that my Mom was allergic (and was from 6 months ago) and the 2nd was for an inhaler which we was prescribed after having a stroke a year ago. We never filled it!! She didn't need it. So, I called and said they made a terrible mistake and guess what their response was? well, you walked out of the store with them, so too bad. The bags were still stapled! we didn't open them! So, I called Corporate and I'm still waiting after 3 weeks. Listen, take my advice and either find some other pharmacy (they could have killed my Mom) or, make sure they tell you exactly what they filled before you even touch the bags. It's o wonder they are closing Walgreens across the country! who fills a script from 11 1/2 months ago??? What's wrong with the pharmacists? My Mom had a terrible reaction to one of the meds and had to be taken in, and they filled it even after it was documented??? and they won't give a senior back her money??? Run and find a pharmacy with professionals who pay attention and actually care. But, I usually stop by when I am in the area to get pretty generic items. If you are looking for sale items, I would recommend going to a different location because the store traffic lessens your chances of getting the hot items. There are usually at least two employees there each shift and there is one that helps while the other rings up customers. This was not just going to be my regular appointment with her (color touch-up for grey roots and thinning out/trimming my shoulder length, brown, super thick, curly hair--which she does so beautifully anyway! ;) Chrissy has been my personal hair stylist and good friend for several years. I told her I wanted to change my hair color from boring brown and add in hints of strawberry-blonde highlights while touching up my grey roots. She always listens and explains how and what she will actually do, before she proceeds, which educates me along the way. I love her enthusiasm, offering creative solutions---yet always checking in with me to make sure I am comfortable and content. Wow, she delivered again! I walked out with this sparkling, strawberry-blonde set of partial highlights and a smooth, bouncy blowout, feeling very confident and pretty!! Yes! Finally, Chrissy is so kind and sincere. the check in kiosk at the pharmacy is a joke. i used it to pick up a rx, and dutifully sat down to…read morewait with the 4 other people who had used the kiosk. and we sat, and we sat... after about 15 minutes, a man walked right up to the counter, and was waited upon. totally skipped the line of us who had used it and were waiting. and then he had a problem with his rx, that took about 10 minutes to rectify. anyone who skips the line, should be instructed by the pharmacy to check in on the kiosk, and go to the end of the line.
