While the first appointment was pleasant, I left with an unexpected brassy brown shade that didn't reflect the highlighted color I had asked for. Still, I trusted her recommendation and returned for a follow-up. I arrived 10 minutes late due to a family emergency, which I clearly explained to the staff. I also mentioned I had a flight in just a few hours. Despite this, I was left waiting for an entire hour before being informed that Amela would only be able to cut my hair--not color it. A client's time is just as valuable as the stylist's. If being 10 minutes late was truly going to prevent the full service, that should have been communicated upfront--instead of making me wait unnecessarily. Frankly, I wouldn't want someone working on my hair who thinks ten minutes is enough time to rush through a proper appointment. This experience was deeply unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will not be returning.

My 2 year old is a WRECK during haircuts and although she screams and fights, they still did a good job with her bangs. The 2nd time we went, we just popped in on a Saturday morning with no appointment and they were very accommodating. Again, the 2 ladies managing them were good and the other customers were even very kind about my shrieking 2 year old! I was stressed about it but they all made me feel ok. This is also a reasonably priced place. Price = age of your kid + $7! Much better than the "children's hair salons" which charge $25-$30 per kid. Perhaps Gemini could charge a little less for just cutting bangs, but since my kid was shrieking so much I didn't mind! I'll be going there next for my own haircut.
