She was great, she knew how to work with curly hair and even how to style it (which I can't say is true for many other hair stylists). I came out really happy with how my hair felt and looked. Before she started she did offer to do a "special" haircut for me for curly hair which was double the price. I do appreciate that she warned me about the price but just wish there was more explanation of this special haircut. If I will spend double the price for something I would like to understand why. In any case, I really liked her so I may do it in the future but for this time I just stuck with the normal haircut. Will be coming back.

The website said it was $5 and the woman charged me $15. I casually pointed this out to her and she gave me a blank stare and said nothing even after I pulled up the website. So I paid her $15 and left, irked based on the customer service. After several follow up emails to the manager, I finally got a note back that said she would deduct the cost from my next haircut. Not impressed after this experience so won't go back. However, If Lauren ever started her own salon, I'd go there in a heartbeat. (Note the website now says Bang trims $5+) I got my hair highlighted for the first time ever last night. Lauren was absolutely amazing. I had no idea what colors I wanted and she intelligently guided me towards two different colors that I absolutely love. She also cut my hair beautifully after the color. More than that, everyone in the salon was so kind and welcoming. It was the best salon experience I've ever had. I will absolutely be going back.
