I have been having Angela cut and color and style my hair for over 8 years now and I can honestly say she is amazing. My hair is hard to color and I have annoying colic's but Angela always manages to tame my gray hairs and style my colic's perfectly. Made an appointment to have brown/chocolate highlights and trimming, instead I got some orange highlights in the front part, mostly the bangs part...Angela wanted to use flat iron to straighten my hair before trimming and when I disagreed with her on the use of flat iron and requested to blow dry instead she was doing it with irritation pulling out my hair. I paid 130$ +tip for ruining my hair and my day...came home and straight to shower. Also bought a color to get rid of those awful highlights if I can call it highlights ....I am very disappointed. Found my new favorite manicurist! Eva was fantastic. Went in for a French nail dip. Unfortunately the previous job done by another salon was done using acrylic not the dipping method I was told she was using. It took more than two hours to soak the bad job off! Eva was through and patient and explained everything. She suggested my nails rest a few days after the trauma of removing them before re-dipping them, which I agreed. I returned two days later and she did a great job! I'll definitely be back! Eva, you rock! read more

Great fabulous salon!! My husband and I just flew-in from California, and arrived early around 6:40 am. I needed a quick place to get my hair shampooed, hair cut, blow dry, eyebrows retouched, a mini facial, and a manicure, for the world series game, for our spontaneous trip to the Chicago Cubs vs LA Dodgers baseball game. Since my hotel would not let us check-in early, and check-in time was not till 3:00 pm. I figured why not get myself ready ahead of time! So, Margie, Maya, Eva, and Osana really came through to help me get a head start!! What a remarkable professional team! Everthing you need is exclusively here at Salon Diva! I highly recommend Salon Deva! I found Emy, my stylist on Facebook through mutual friends and have been getting my hair cut, colored and highlighted here for over a year. It's a little far from home, but it's worth the drive for the excellent results. Emy is by far the best hair colorist/stylist ever. Salon Deva uses all high quality Chi products and my color is always perfect. I love the atmosphere of this salon on a Saturday morning. There is a wide variety of age groups in the salon and I love talking with ladies of all ages during my visits. I've met so many wonderful people here. The staff is super friendly and it's always a pleasant experience. Thank you Emy, my hair has never looked so good. Emy has magical scissors, because my hair has never looked so healthy and thick. I got the worst haircut of my life here. Do not come here if you have short hair or hair that requires a machine cut. I called and came in for my appointment and showed the stylist who saw me (whose name I didn't catch) my reference photo. She shaved the entire back and sides with a 0.5 razor, instead of progressing to a longer cut like in the photo, and then couldn't blend the longer hair on top. Another stylist, Angie, was thankfully able to make it look at least a little blended, but the cut is still angular and unattractive. I still had to pay $25 for the cut, even though it was so badly messed up. I'm not sure why they had me see a stylist who had no idea how to cut short hair. Perhaps if you have long hair, the stylists here will do a better job. But I don't recommend coming here if you have short hair. read more

Never having been to Salon Diva I decided to go in and ask some questions. I had dark hair with quite a bit of grey underneath. I wanted to go blonde/platinum to start the process of letting it all grow out. I spoke to the owner, Eva. She was very nice and answered my many questions. It seemed like a friendly environment. I made an appointment with Roberto who was also very nice and personable. He did a great job on my hair. So I am now a blonde with a spikey haircut. I love it and will be back every 4 weeks. read more
