Everyone here is incredibly friendly and they make sure to provide a comfortable and vibrant atmosphere. I was able to do a consult the same day I called to schedule a root touch up with a vivid color service so I could see how much I was looking at spending and then I was able to get in as soon as it worked with my schedule. Chandler made sure he asked and listened to what I wanted, asked me if I had any questions or concerns to which I brought up that I was actually happy with my usual salon but that I had been experiencing some problems with my bleaching services leaving me with super painful scabs. He immediately asked me if I knew what bleach my hair stylist was using and worked to not use the same bleach and used a balancing treatment to avoid the same reaction. I left with incredibly soft, healthy hair with NO REACTION OR SCABS!! I was so happy. Not to mention the color looked amazing and as soon as I walked out of the salon I got two different compliments. I went back for a haircut the next week and he made sure to only cut the split ends and left my hair as long as possible but thinned it out as much as I wanted since it was so thick and I left feeling like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. As if his talent wasn't enough Chandler is incredibly fun to work with and converse with. The receptionist and all the other stylists I interacted with were also incredibly nice as well. Although I got Jenn's number from my coworker, I just texted and checked her availability. This was a Monday, late afternoon. I was her first appointment on Wednesday at 11! The location was easy to fine and the large windows at the front seemed awkward at first but once sitting in the chair I felt right at home. Comfortable. Probably the worst highlight color I have ever had done. $220 later I will need to go and get it completely fixed my husband said it looked so much better before I left for my appointment I am so bummed! I wish I had never gone to this appointment. She bleached out my hair in rough patchy looking highlights!! that are stripey and look so cheap. Around my face it looks just bleached. Not pretty highlights at all!! I was so traumatized when I was leaving I paid the $220 and left. Now looking in the mirror I cannot even believe they still charged me for this. I've been going to Salon Diversions for yearrrrrrrs now (probably at least since 2012), and as long as I live in New Orleans, I won't go anywhere else. Cara is a great stylist and the whole staff is friendly. I love the excuse to take a little adventure into the heart of the French Quarter, and once I'm inside the salon it's always a relaxing and enjoyable experience. They use Aveda products (which smell so good!) and I always get a nice scalp massage while having my hair washed before my haircut. read more

Love the online booking system that they have here... super efficient and convenient. And you definitely won't forget that you have an appointment here or what time it is because you get multiple text reminders... I had an 11 am appointment for hair styling and eyelash application for an event. There was a 15 minute wait when I got there at my appointment time, but I felt like the hair stylist took her time with my hair and didn't rush when she was informed that her next client had arrived. She did a lovely job with my curls and they lasted all night. It was a bit weird that they didn't have any glue for the eyelashes, but another girl ran out and picked some up pretty quickly. So that wasn't a problem. The lashes looked great and also lasted all night. $55 for the hair, and $15 for the lashes... not cheap but completely reasonable. I tipped $15 on top. read more

Love the ladies in this salon. Cara and Jenn are THE BEST. I was happy with my hair work until my normal stylist started becoming unprofessional, and incompetent with my hair. After a year of having my hair blown out every week, once I began doing my own hair- I quickly found out she was not coloring my full head, though I paid full price plus tip. Because of Gabriella, I had to goto a Paris Parker Salon to have my hair not only color corrected (4 different colors in my hair), but to have my hair leveled out because it was uneven as well. Also it's 2 times and going in for a third to fix my hair color from over 1 year of incompetence in hair color from Gabriella. I recommend this place and use Cara or Jenn. read more

As someone who has made special trips to NYC to get my hair done by the only stylist I've ever trusted with my hair, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to find a new stylist (but let's be honest, I can't go to NYC for highlights forever!)... I just moved to New Orleans & heard wonderful things about Gabby - she'd had a cancelation and was able to squeeze me in the next day and OMG I've never been so happy!! Gabby is clearly a master at balayage and she absolutely nailed the golden blonde highlights I was going for (listening to my toner-gone-wrong stories!); bright & beachy yet natural-looking and blends so well into my natural color. It's been 3 weeks since I've got my hair cut by Chandler and I just had to come back on here and say THANK YOU! I am in love with my new hair! I went in for a full highlight and hair cut with atleast 3-4 inches of split ends. I told him I wanted it layered and showed him photos. He was so sweet and explained how styling factors into the photos I showed and additionally recommended products specific to my hair type. Initially I thought my hair was a little on the short side, but I told him to cut off all the split ends which inevitably resulted in shorter hair. It definitely IS NOT too short, in fact I think the length is perfect for me. It looks more professional and when it's messy I think it looks really cute. It holds more volume and I feel like a star. It's super blonde, very well blended and the exact warmth I wanted. Now that it's been a while, I just want to say I LOVE MY HAIR. I've always had a natural middle part and I would usually part my hair towards one side or the other. This haircut has made me love my hair parted naturally for the first time in my life.
