THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH OTHER LOCATIONS!…read more Now that I have that out the way. Let's dive in. This location is very very small. I was shocked how "intimate" it is. If you're used to Atlanta amd Houston location please lower your expectations. You have to schedule service before you go in. I wasn't aware if that so please be mindful. They also take your shoes before you go back. My mind was blown. Once I got back it looks the same except the pool area is massive with cool jet powered pockets. If you forget something there is a purchase price instead of gratis. Like toothbrush, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. Interesting that you can wear swimsuits. I didn't have one because I thought they weren't allowed. I was a bit disappointed in my scrub but I think it's because it was moved up, shrle came looking for me, she was irritated, I was annoyed, she asked for a tip 5X and I kept saying "No". I did use a GroupOn and that was dope. I would definitely use again just for the 30 min massage alone. Kim was amazing! It also got moved up 15 mins. It has a traditional layout as other locations but they have 3 upstairs spaces for massages, gym, and smoking. The resturant was closed while I was there so I set up myself up for some $9 Ramen. Yeah, I know. Stupid move. I was hungry. Although, small they tossed in a few couches and chairs. There's 5 rooms with temperatures listed. I thought that was cool. May absolutely favorite was the CLAY room. Its so fun and different. I went on a Monday to avoid people but it was still pretty busy. I don't think there is a difference on the day of the week.

I read the bad reviews before going, but I'm going to base my opinion on my own experience. I like that they offer discounts for seniors. My mom's admission was $35 and mine was $45. This is definitely very affordable, and for someone who cares more about the benefits rather than aesthetics or Instagram photos, I think it's worth it. I can see why some people say the pool water smells musky. It does seem that way a bit, but honestly, I'm not sure if it's just because the water is warm. The spa treatments are pricey, but it's understandable. The staff could use some hospitality training. The girl at the front desk was nice, but the guy could definitely use some training. The food is affordable and the portions are huge. I got bibimbap for $16 and shared it with my mom, so it was definitely worth the money. I would come back again, especially on my birthday, because they have a promotion for free admission if it's your birthday. They also have a bunch of other promotions that I don't remember, but they're worth checking out. Really wish they would open one in Maryland again.

Let me start my review of Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, particularly at this location as…read moremy HOME. Please don't be discouraged by a few negative reviews - they don't reflect the superlative treatment that I receive CONSISTENTLY. I believe it's a natural tendency to leave reviews that are negative, blasting a business for the actions of an individual. That person may have had a bad day - we all do, right? That being said, I support businesses that deliver a level of excellence not because they have to in order to compete, but to do so because they wish to cultivate a working relationship with their clientele. That starts with an exemplary staff. Andy E. has such great desk side manners that it is worthy of being noted. I've had him call me to alert me to available appointments on a number of occasions and I had the privilege of speaking to him today. He makes the appointment in such an affable way, that it comes through over the phone. I can tell he wanted to facilitate an appointment most convenient to me to ensure the best possible outcome. Andy E. represents this company in an exceptional way - his positivity complements the business in a way it optimizes the whole experience. Pleasant, empathetic and engaging are qualities one doesn't learn, those qualities allow transcendance of negativity in a service oriented industry. Those qualities that are embodied by Andy are crucial. Any world wary individual who chooses to seek therapeutic measures to alleviate his or her stress brought on by the vagaries of life, are welcomed into the oasis of tranquility at Hand and Stone. I'm writing this review to share my experience as a former employee at Hand & Stone, which I…read morebelieve was marked by poor management, lack of security, and an unjust termination. I want to warn others about the practices I witnessed during my time there. one night shift i was closing and after i closed everything during the middle of the night, robbery occurred, and I had no idea at the time. The robber took around $400, and it wasn't until the next day that the opener saw the key still in the lock and noticed something was off. To make matters worse, the cameras "didn't work," or so I was told, and when I asked about the footage, I was told it would be available to HR. However, I never got to see anything. A couple of weeks later, I was called in for a meeting and was wrongfully accused of taking the money. They claimed they had footage of me taking it, but when I asked to see it, they kept saying they would "show me later." I never saw it, and ultimately, they just terminated me. To top it off, they threatened to involve the police, but I never received any report, and no further action was taken. It felt like they were simply looking for someone to blame, and I was the next in line, especially since others before me had been fired under similar circumstances. In addition to the unjust termination, my experience working there was less than ideal. There were constant complaints from customers about upcharges--something I also noticed during my time at the company. We were instructed to upcharge without clear explanations, which led to a lot of frustrated customers. Additionally, cancelling memberships was a nightmare. Only the manager could do it, and she would always come up with excuses to delay or avoid doing so, which added to the frustration of both the customers and employees. Overall, I do not recommend working at Hand & Stone, nor would I recommend it as a business for customers. They don't prioritize the well-being or fair treatment of their employees, and they seem more focused on finding ways to take money from customers rather than provide genuine service. If you're considering working there, or becoming a customer, my advice is to look elsewhere DO NOT EVER COME HERE!! THEY SCAM YOU TOO

I was pleasantly surprised to learn when my local Bubbles (where Mitra worked) had opened her own salon. She is hands down the best colorist I have ever had. The prices she has set up for Tease Salon are reasonable. It is also very easy to schedule with her. The 1st time you arrive at the Salon you might be a little confused. The salon is inside the Overture 62+ community. It is open to the public. After you arrive at the Overture, follow the signs to their Leasing Office and, keep going straight. (The Overture employees are also very helpful if you get lost.) Parking is available in and/or around the building. The salon space is very comfortable. In a nutshell, if COVID has you looking for a new hairstylist check out Tease Salon.
