I (personally) think if a client is running behind, they need to reschedule. It's just not fair to the clients who are on time to have to sit and wait for hours. Last time I went in for a wash & retwist right before the new year - I sat for 3-4 hours. I peeked in to let her know I was there & that was that. She didn't step out to give me a heads up about the wait or an option to reschedule and never apologized for the inconvenience. Another stylist, Fun, had mercy on me and washed my hair while I waited even longer soon after. On top of that, I wasn't always a fan of the styles. It's common to be asked what style you want in the Loc world, but I wish it was like the old salon days where styles were already available & your stylist recommended one that fit your face/hair type. All in all, I really wanted to like this salon. Especially because she was literally around when I transitioned to a TWA over a decade ago. However, the lack of customer service/professionalism & so-so styles wasn't worth it to me.
