ALL CAPS FOR THIS POST- Please, if you value your look, don't make an appointment at this old woman salon. For emergency purposes I did so with a happy attitude only to get sprayed head to toe wet by the owner, screamed at with the profanities that should NEVER be included in anyone's vocabulary. If there were an option to give -0 stars I would. I got it promptly fixed and of course didn't pay or tip but stay away. Go anywhere on the block but there. They will be bankrupt in 6 months tops anyway. read more

There is no other place I will go to have my hair blown out, cut, styled,colored or anything else. First and foremost, Gino is a magician with a scissor; I have fairly long hair and I am never apprehensive having him go in with his scissors. He updates my style while I keep my long locks. I have had many color treatments done over the years, and always by Shavon (sp?); she has highlighted, single processed and balayaged my hair. Over the last 18 months I decided I wanted to give my hair a break from the color- she has workout out a color plan with my to allow my hair to grow out to its natural color without me having to over process my hair during this period of time. Mind you, I live hours away from Salon Imperiale and will not look for a salon closer... they are just that good. read more

The talent is here but not at all accommodating to the working person. It's posted that they are open until 5:30 most days and Thursday until 6:30 but it's not true. Every time I have made an appointment during the week after work it was like they were doing me a favor. I even spoke with the colorist about it and she said it was no problem but then the owner told me it's an inconvenience and the person doing my hair has to make special arrangements for childcare. Then he makes a personal call to his family in front of me explaining he will be late getting home because I'm there. It was barely 5:00! I felt awful. One person would say it's okay to come in and then you call for the appointment and I'm told it's too late to begin at 4:00. It's too bad because I love the haircuts and the color I was getting there. If you are a housewife with no job it's perfect. read more

I love this place bc they can do it all! Great color and cuts even extensions if you want and they're prices are affordable. Lots of parking in the back if your there for early appointments! Beautiful clean salon! I'm going back there for all my hair needs! read more

Came her after receiving a gift certificate for a blowout. I had Nicole as a stylist and she did an awesome job. My hair is thick curly and long and she was able to give my hair the perfect blowout. I found my new place for blowouts! read more

Just moved to a new, larger salon on Franklin Ave., next to GC Pizza. New space is lovely -clean, spacious, comfortable...even the artwork is cool and gives off a Manhattan/classy vibe. But a good looking salon doesn't give you a brilliant haircut and that's what matters. Gino & his team of fine folks know hair. You'll leave looking great. They ssk the right questions, listen, understand what you're looking for. You just know they'll go the extra bit to make sure it's right. Prices are reasonable, staff super friendly. read more

I am new to the area, and walked in to Salon Imperiale without an appointment--I was made to feel welcome and comfortable by the owner Gino...I have since had my hair both colored and cut by Nicole several times since then...There are many good hair salons and stylists around, but every once in awhile you come upon a gem--and that is Nicole!...When I am in her chair, she focuses on me, my hair, and my personality...She is warm, friendly and professional...There are many stylists with skill, but I feel that that Nicole is an ARTIST whose work of art just happens to be hair.
