This place is so hard to review. I walked right in at 1:30 today (Tuesday) and they got me right in for a mani/pedi, so it's convenient for sure. The woman did a beautiful manicure. I'd give her 5 stars all day long. The pedicure looks great, but I kid you not, it was very painful - not enjoyable at all. The man did my pedicure and it's like getting a medical procedure without an aesthetic. He's very rough. At one point I screamed and pulled my foot away. A pedicure should not hurt. If you're looking for a spa experience, this isn't the place. I got what I needed. I'd return for a manicure, but this was my last pedicure here. No stars. Rude to the customer by ignoring questions. All I needed was to have my gel polish removed off of 3 fingernails and they charged me 25 and hurt my fingers. They acted like they didnt understand me and ignored my wishes to have them soaked to remove the polish but instead used the nail drill. Worst experience I have ever had. Will not be back. read more

Service early but outcome bad. Never touched cuticles to push them back. Polish not edge to edge on nails. Very disappointed.

I went in for a pedicure a few months back, shortly after a knee replacement. The male owner injured the side of my big toe with the cuticle trimmers badly enough that it bled for quite a while! It was sore for weeks and eventually became an ingrown toenail, and I had to have my foot doctor look at it! The sad thing is, this had happened to me once before, but I assumed it was a fluke and gave them/him another chance. Never again! read more

If I could give this salon zero stars I would. I waited 30 minutes for someone to start working on me and they weren't busy. Then they asked another customer to talk to me about my gift certificate and she had no idea what she was talking about and proceeded to tell me I was wrong. She escalated the conversation to an argument and it felt like I was on an episode of Jerry Springer with a woman with a bowl cut from 1984. I politely asked her to let me talk to the business owners and she talked over me and couldn't help but tell me all of her "expert" knowledge about business and taxes. The long short of it is that it's illegal to put a short term expiration on gift certificates in Indiana and it's been that way for a long time. I didn't think to look for an expiration on mine bc this is also common law in the state where I'm from. I was just two months past the expiration and they refused to honor the whole amount. Did I mention I'm 7 months pregnant? Nice, right? But instead of talking to me about it the owner decided to leave his business in the hands of Crystal from Roseanne so she could berate me. I'm baffled by the lack of ethics and basic good business practices on so many levels. I called the local chamber of commerce and they were appalled at this woman but also that the business wouldn't honor the full amount just out of good faith. After all was said and done this no chip manicure was not done well and the tech was really rough. Had this debacle not happened I still would not have gone back because I had an open cut on my cuticle from her jamming the tool into my nail. read more

Super disappointed!! Rough week at work and was looking to unwind with my sister. I called and made an appointment for Friday at 6:15 to get pedicures. Showed up Friday at 6:15 and the place was dark/closed!!! According to their posted hours they close at 7. They knew we were coming. We had an appointment!!! Come on!!! read more

It's family owned (I think) because I've never seen more than 4 people working at one time but the 3 times I've gone, I'm always greeted. They are very courteous. I was glad the last time I went thinking I needed a shellac fill-in, the manicurist told me she could just do a color change since I didn't have much grow out (which saved me money ) and she fixed the poor shape and thick shellac I had done at a different salon 2 weeks prior. I also had the deluxe pedicure and it was very relaxing. They took time giving a thorough foot and leg massage that I've felt was rushed and almost not worth it at other places. I'm always satisfied with the work they do and the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a short staff, sometimes you have to wait or they will tell you they can't get to you if they are all occupied and have a full line up of mani/pedis ahead of you. Which upsets some people but I prefer the honesty instead of having to sit and wait for 2 hours. I recommend to friends and family. read more
