My hair has three different shades of red and takes a very knowledgeable and skilled stylist to maintain the look. I read that Salon Khroma was rated the #1 salon in Southern Utah and so I took a chance. I was not disappointed.; in fact,, Spencer did a better job than my stylist back in Ohio. (Who by the way has won awards for hair color design.) Spencer took great care in matching and placement of the color. I only needed a trim but he did a great job at that, too, I also like the products the salon uses (Bumble and Bumble). I highly recommend this salon. read more

So after accidentally dying my hair a dish water grey with bright ass red roots, I was thinking that I would have to either shave my head or fry my hair to get back to a normal color. But i came to Vanessa and she totally fixed my hair color without damaging my hair! She knew just what to do to fix the color. I'm new to St. George and wanted to switch up my hair. I saw that the reviews were pretty good so I decided to try it and I was so disappointed with my results. I have natural brown hair and wanted to go back to blonde since I've been blonde before. I explained exactly what I wanted to my hair dresser and she said that it would take multiple sessions even though I've gone straight blonde before in one session before. I explained that to her and she went ahead anyways. I should have known from that point to get up and get out but I thought after explaining we were on the same page. However, she put blonde streaks in my hair instead of blending a little bit of my natural brown into the blonde like I had done before. If I put my hair back into a ponytail my hair literally looked like stripes. On top of all that, she charged me $150 without tip even though my hair's short and she didn't even dye my whole head. So now I have to pay more for someone else to fix my hair. I will never come back again and I discourage everyone from going there. read more

Owner Brittany is the Best! We moved here from Newport Beach, California, and were concerned we would not be able to find an excellent hair salon/stylist here. Brittany does an excellent job cutting my husband's hair, and he is very particular! He also appreciates the scalp massage/treatment that he is accustomed to in California. Everyone in the salon is helpful, professional, and polite! The salon is also meticulously cleaned, which is crucial! We have been customers for 4 years and will continue to be. They are a full-service salon with reasonable prices and an upscale atmosphere. read more

Had a great experience at this salon! My teenage daughter got a great haircut and the stylist really listened to her. My daughter was worried that when she said "trim" that she would end up with several inches cut off the back. My only recommendation, is to turn down the music just a little. Hair colored and cut by Vanessa. She listened well to understand my wants and needs and delivered. I liked the clean space. The staff were duty motivated and I could see they were doing their best to make people happy without the usual noisy and imposing theater and drama of a hair salon. I was able to relax and chill out, good healthy vibe. Staff were cautious conservative and professional. Very refreshing and a safe space to go when you would just like a little civilized decency and prediction. I loved the place! read more

I will say first off that I am very leery of trying new hair stylists. Sure everyone will say hair can grow out and problem solved. But it sure takes a while for that to happen and in the meantime you have to look at it or work with it every day. I went in to get highlight, low lights and a trim. There are no highlights to be found in my hair anywhere. I ended up coming out almost completely red on side of my hair almost up to my scalp, the other side is less red but the color is 1/2 inch down from the scalp and a hideous red streak in my bangs. The stylist who I will not name stated I would not know what my hair looked like until I left the salon as their lighting is bad. One would think if you are doing color you should have excellent lighting in your salon. I was mortified when I came home and looked in the mirror to see my medium brown hair was now pretty much all red. I have lived with it for three weeks trying to wash the color out with special shampoo. I am hesitant to go have it fixed somewhere else as who knows what I will end up with next. But the time has come to do just that. read more

She asked great questions and listened to me - result was an excellent haircut that I can take care of. The price was very fair and I will be calling Casey for my future cuts. read more

STAY AWAY!! Horrible customer service! I scheduled an appointment a couple weeks in advance with a specific stylist, since I have curly hair and wanted a stylist that had experience cutting curly hair with a razor. After talking with them they set me up with an experienced stylist they said had all of that experience and would be a good fit. I drive over 30 miles into town and show up to my appointment 10 minutes early only to find out they gave my spot away to someone else and decided to put me with a stylist that only graduated 1 year prior and had no experience with what I had specifically requested 2 weeks prior!! They then simply said "Sorry" and "We can schedule back in 2 months if you would like". This is unacceptable!!! They wasted my time and money and offer no resolution. The owner of the salon was standing right there and had not a care in the world about screwing over a customer. They obviously don't care but they have definitely lost a customer with me and I will be telling every single person I know to stay away from this place since they like to treat their customers like garbage! read more

Completely unsatisfactory experience to say the least. Took my son is to get his hair done. The terrible job done on it was just the beginning, rescheduled an appointment a couple of times due to random events of higher importance getting in the way of us being able to make it. The second time we re-scheduled (for them to fix the terrible cut they did), at first they were fine with it and understanding, then a few hours later that day they called back and said we'd have to pay for rescheduling for them to fix their screwed up cut job. While there the first time my son was getting his hair cut, the music was the last thing we were hearing over them having inappropriate conversations about people/ clients they apparently don't care for. read more

Great experience at this salon, they got me right in and I never felt like I was being rushed. I am blond with long hair and I got the best cut and highlights I have ever had at a salon! She listened to exactly what I wanted and took her time to do it right and I really appreciate that! I have had too many bad experiences in the past.
