I've been going to Salon Lido for over two years now. Tina is absolutely amazing. I've gotten haircuts and massages from her and she is frankly incredibly skilled in both areas. She works incredibly hard to keep certifications in both and it shows. One day I went down for a haircut but had some neck pain so she included a 15 minute massage for free and got rid of my neck pain. I went here on Saturday. I had a massage and haircut during my visit. Tina is by far the most professional in her business. She gave the best massage I have ever received. She knew EXACTLY where my problem areas were. She made me feel very comfortable during the massage session. She is also very upfront with what she would be charging for all the services. She did not try to up sale or pressure me into any services. She simply let me know what services she provided and the different prices. I had a geat haircut from her too. I have very thick, curly, and coarse hair. She was able to manage my hair and gave me best haircut in years. I did gel mani + pedi using a groupon. Be aware groupon users: they CHARGE EXTRA $5.00 for existing gel-mani removal. My nail technician Nini used dirty un-sanitized tools. She didn't wait long enough to scrub off existing gel manicure. (She started scrub off the gel within 15 seconds) She used toilet papers as a toe separator. Next day one of my finger got an infection. Wondering is Nini a licensed technician in this country or what? read more

Now this is the place to get your nails done. Beautiful location that's close to the water with great restaurants all around. I'm shocked at how low they keep the prices, especially with the great customer service they provide. These ladies sure know how to make you feel like a queen. I got a spa pedicure and medicure with an additional nail design for my toes. I was really blown away how detailed and accurate their nail design was. I showed them the picture and they made it perfectly without complaints. They added 6 crystals on each big toe with no extra charge...I've never had a nail salon do that before! They have about 3-4 spa chairs, so it's totally understandable why they need to schedule appointments for visits. I usually get self-conscious when other nail stylists talk amongst themselves in a different language, but these stylists kept it professional. I went here for a groupon I purchased for a gel mani and regular pedi. Tina and Cally did my nails, and I am in loooove with the gel mani I received by Cally. She was also very pleasant to talk to. (Side note: they told me that Tracy no longer works there so it's a bit confusing as the Yelp name is "Nails by Tracy"...lol. ;) I docked off one star because I paid an additional $15 for a callus exfoliation treatment (I dance a lot so my feet look a little sad sometimes :P). Tina seemed a bit distracted while providing the treatment and missed a whole part of my HEEL. For people who have dry skin issues, you know that the heel is a place that one should not miss while doing an exfoliation treatment. It just bothered me that I paid an additional $15 (when other salons charge between $5-$10) when the best service was not provided. read more

When I saw the old fashion type barber sign at Salon Lido I felt more comfortable going in and asking to get a mens haircut. The owner greeted me very professionally and made me feel comfortable. That was 18 months ago. It is the only place I will go for a professional hair cut and style now. I was lucky because now I realize Tina is very busy and it is recommended to have an appointment. Came here with the groupon and I should have spent my money somewhere else. i see a lot of good reviews but I had a horrible experience. Me and my cousin made an appt. for 2 acrylic manicures and 2 pedicures, they started on my pedicure and her nails and then come and tell me they misunderstood and can't do my acrylics only my cousins because they don't have time. Then they finish my feet and do my manicure standing up. The lady came, just grabbed my hand and painted them in 2 minutes with no effort and left. They were spotty and uneven. They could not even put the effort to take me to a table for a regular manicure after telling me they can't do the acrylic nails I made an appt for. I experienced horrible customer service and could have done my manicure better at home for free. read more

Horrible service!! I got a Groupon for this place and tried calling to make an appointment for the longest time. When I finally got a hold of someone and told them about my Groupon, she immediately told me that groupons sometimes don't work and I should call their customer service. She hadn't even seen my groupon yet and nor asked what sort of service I wanted. I told her that it should work since I purchased it recently. She took my voucher number over the phone and said if she calls back, then it doesn't work. She didn't call back, so I assumed I was all set to my appointment. So, I went into my appointment today and told the lady at the front that I had a voucher from groupon and when I opened the voucher to show her, it indicated that it had already been redeemed, ironically on the date I called for the appointment. So I explained my situation to the lady. First, she was extremely rude and didn't even want to hear what I had to say. Second, she didn't even look at my voucher to check and lastly, she told me she couldn't help me at all and I should call the owner/manager or Groupon. I can understand why she would be skeptically but at least you can be polite and provide an explanation. If the manager knew this would happen, she should have mentioned this to her employees. I don't understand how you can run a business like this. I was extremely upset! I waited for weeks to get an appointment or get someone on the phone and when I finally come in, they send me away. I'm guessing the manager redeemed the coupon online. BTW the phone number listed in the groupon is the manager's cell number. When I called her, she said she was out with her family and couldn't talk. Very unprofessional and rude. I will definitely take my business elsewhere.
