Been coming here since the open. I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soft music playing in the background and a clean, beautifully decorated space. My nail technician took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered great suggestions. The manicure and pedicure were flawless, precise and done with care. I also appreciated the attention to hygiene, which made me feel very comfortable. I left feeling pampered and confident in my nails! I just drove into town from Las Vegas and needed a pedi and mani desperately. I yelped a few places and they had really good reviews. I called and they took me as a walk in. It was an hour before they closed and Vicky was very welcoming. Cindy and another lady (I'm sorry I forgot her name) did not rush at all and did a very good job. The shop was clean, organized with modern equipment, friendly and talented staff who literally attended to my every need and made me feel so pampered in a world where self-care is super important don't skimp. You feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in. I've been getting my nails done for 20+ Years and these are the best massage chairs I've ever experienced. I got a regular pedi with gel and my fiancé got the the works. The staff is sweet and doesn't make you feel pressured. We will be back. read more

This is such a nice little nail salon under new ownership. It's conveniently located just off Newport & 32nd just across from Lido House. From start to finish the service was incredible. So friendly and all 3 ladies went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of on our vacay. The Attention to detail and sincere kindness was so appreciated! MY FAVORITE NAIL SALON! I've been to nail salons all over OC and nor cal when I lived there for college and this is my favorite salon! Vicky and her team are all so incredible. They are so kind, friendly, always offering tea and snacks! All the artists are so talented too, I'm always so happy with my acrylic sets and the designs. Vicky and Theresa helped me tonight. They did the best job! Theresa did the best pedicure I have had in years, scrubbed and massaged my feet. Vicky did a lovely gel French manicure.They seem to love their work and made me feel like I was a VIP. I came late one evening. They looked like they were closing up shop but stayed to help me and didn't seem to mind one bit. I'll definitely be back. read more

As a local, I LOVE coming here! Hands down my favorite nail salon on the peninsula. They have awesome packages for if you want more than a basic mani/pedi. The massages for arms and legs are great and they encourage using the massage chair unlike other salons that usually don't like it. They love seeing how relaxed customers feel after an appointment. Accepts credits cards and you can tip on your card if you prefer it. read more

Instead of trying to accommodate me or work with my schedule, they were completely inflexible. Not only did they refuse to work with me, but they also made me feel unappreciated as a long-time customer. After five years of loyalty, I expected much better customer service. I will not be returning. Overpriced services with very poor customer care.

From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were disappointed by the customer service. The front desk employee was rude to both of us, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. I believe you should be aware of how your employees are speaking to customers and the impact their words can have. The behavior we experienced was unacceptable and made both my friend and me feel terrible. During my appointment, the nail technician repeatedly told me to "smile," which made me feel uncomfortable and was not something I expected to hear as a customer. Additionally, my friend and I received comments from staff members about our age. At one point, remarks were made suggesting that we were getting older and that "death is upon us." We found these comments inappropriate, unprofessional, and unnecessary. My nail technician also made remarks about my friend's skin and pointed out that she had red bumps on her skin. These comments were deeply hurtful, completely inappropriate, and made my friend feel embarrassed and self-conscious. A nail salon should be an environment where customers can relax and enjoy their experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling judged, uncomfortable, and disrespected. I hope you will address these concerns with your staff so that future customers do not have a similar experience. It was very cute and clean when I first walked in & the employees were all very nice from what I experienced. I was give a pedicure by Michelle and she was a delight. She didn't put pressure on me to upgrade my service unless I asked, and they were clear about pricing before starting the service. I will Absolutely be going back to her, this was the first pedicure in years I didn't feel a THING when she was cleaning my cuticles. Thank you !!!

I had such a great experience at Blue Ocean Nail Spa! The shop is incredibly clean and well-organized, which instantly made me feel comfortable. I walked in without an appointment, and they were able to accommodate me with no hassle - a big plus in my book! The staff was so friendly and welcoming from the moment I stepped in. They made sure I felt taken care of and were happy to answer my questions about their services. The owner, Vicky, is absolutely wonderful! You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and has created a warm, inviting environment. The service itself was top-notch, and my nails came out beautifully. I am so picky with my nails and I was so impressed here! The best nails I've had done in a long time!! Vicky took her time and did exactly like the picture I showed her. Had such a good experience at Blue Ocean Nail Salon. The pedicure was amazing, everyone who works there is so nice and funny, and the whole place is super clean.
