Been coming here since the open. I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soft music playing in the background and a clean, beautifully decorated space. My nail technician took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered great suggestions. The manicure and pedicure were flawless, precise and done with care. I also appreciated the attention to hygiene, which made me feel very comfortable. I left feeling pampered and confident in my nails! I will definitely be returning and recommending this salon to friends and family. Highly recommend! read more

You feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in. I've been getting my nails done for 20+ Years and these are the best massage chairs I've ever experienced. I got a regular pedi with gel and my fiancé got the the works. The staff is sweet and doesn't make you feel pressured. We will be back. read more

They were amazing! Gentle (I'm recovering from surgery) and kind. Got a beautiful manicure and pedicure and added on a massage. Shop was festive but tidy. There were 4 women working and all were wonderful! read more

MY FAVORITE NAIL SALON! I've been to nail salons all over OC and nor cal when I lived there for college and this is my favorite salon! Vicky and her team are all so incredible. They are so kind, friendly, always offering tea and snacks! All the artists are so talented too, I'm always so happy with my acrylic sets and the designs. They also give amazing pedicures and spa treatments, it's my go to whenever I want to relax, feel special, or extra pretty. I would give 6* if I could! read more

This is such a nice little nail salon under new ownership. It's conveniently located just off Newport & 32nd just across from Lido House. From start to finish the service was incredible. So friendly and all 3 ladies went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of on our vacay. The Attention to detail and sincere kindness was so appreciated! I have known and followed Vicky (the owner of Blue Ocean Nail Spa) for over 10 years. I have never known a more dedicated and consistent worker as Vicky. She is an awesome and caring nail technician who is so knowledgeable with styles and the latest trending nail arts. I couldn't be happier for her as she now has her very own nail studio! Vicky and Theresa helped me tonight. They did the best job! Theresa did the best pedicure I have had in years, scrubbed and massaged my feet. Vicky did a lovely gel French manicure.They seem to love their work and made me feel like I was a VIP. I came late one evening. As a local, I LOVE coming here! Hands down my favorite nail salon on the peninsula. They have awesome packages for if you want more than a basic mani/pedi. The massages for arms and legs are great and they encourage using the massage chair unlike other salons that usually don't like it. They love seeing how relaxed customers feel after an appointment. Accepts credits cards and you can tip on your card if you prefer it. read more

The manager was only available on one specific day to fix the nails, and unfortunately I was unavailable that day. Instead of trying to accommodate me or work with my schedule, they were completely inflexible. Not only did they refuse to work with me, but they also made me feel unappreciated as a long-time customer. After five years of loyalty, I expected much better customer service. I will not be returning. Overpriced services with very poor customer care.

From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were disappointed by the customer service. The front desk employee was rude to both of us, which immediately made us feel unwelcome. I believe you should be aware of how your employees are speaking to customers and the impact their words can have. The behavior we experienced was unacceptable and made both my friend and me feel terrible. During my appointment, the nail technician repeatedly told me to "smile," which made me feel uncomfortable and was not something I expected to hear as a customer. Additionally, my friend and I received comments from staff members about our age. At one point, remarks were made suggesting that we were getting older and that "death is upon us." We found these comments inappropriate, unprofessional, and unnecessary. My nail technician also made remarks about my friend's skin and pointed out that she had red bumps on her skin. These comments were deeply hurtful, completely inappropriate, and made my friend feel embarrassed and self-conscious. A nail salon should be an environment where customers can relax and enjoy their experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling judged, uncomfortable, and disrespected. I hope you will address these concerns with your staff so that future customers do not have a similar experience.
