Just don't go to Jessica for highlights. She is not a skilled stylist. She was also unwilling to fix the situation. I went in for full highlights and my hair is orange and getting oranger by the minute. AND I paid $325. I continue to wear hats and wigs. I contacted the owner and she said having orange brassy hair is a normal process of getting highlights following the use of box color. I am 57 y.o. I have had foils and used box color for a lifeline. I have never paid $325 for my hair, not even in Paris. I just want other women to know the risks of this business and that Jessica and Jennifer do not stand behind their work. Sad. And to be price-gouged was absolutely twisting the knife in the wound. This is probably the second time I've ever felt a poor yelp review was warranted. Beware. read more

They were able to get me in pretty quickly which I was a little suspicious about but I was desperate so I did it anyway. The owner did a decent job but the quality and the professionalism was just not there for the crazy amount of money it cost. $300 to touch up my balayage without a blowout! And I made it clear that I like a cooler tone and it ended up being a bit yellow/orange. The bang area doesn't look super great either. The staff like to talk to each other instead of their clients and I ended up making a huge effort to get my stylist talking so it wasn't awkward..not to mention she was taking phone calls and FaceTiming during the appointment. Amazing! After leaving my last hair dresser I had for years, I did a little online research to find the next best one. I came across this place here on Yelp and contacted the shop via Facebook messenger. Within an hour, Jennifer, texted me to set up an appointment. She was able to get me in with in 2 days! I showed her a few pictures I had found on Pinterest and I could immediately tell "she knew what I want." I did have to wait just a few minutes, which was fine because it gave me to the chance to check out all these great jewelry pieces she had in the shop. Really good prices too. Not only did Jennifer make my hair look exactly like what I imagined, she made it look amazing. She was very detailed with everything she was doing. I went to Jen at Salon Luxe to get a lob cut (which she did a beautiful job) and to have shadow roots added to my platinum blonde. I came to her as a new client and showed her pictures of what I wanted. I also let her know nothing too drastic, as I was changing length and color. Unfortunately she went overboard on the shadow roots and completely made my roots a dark chocolate brown. Way darker than my natural color and too warm compared the the ashy platinum I already had. I was in shock and asked her to do some highlights, especially around my face. I went home and was so unhappy with my hair I cried for days. As a woman, your hair is a beauty mark and I felt so ugly. I asked her if I could come in and add some more highlights ASAP. She did so, but it was still just a mess. She charged me $318 for her bad color job. I spoke to 5 different hair stylists and all said the same thing... "why did she go so dark?" "Why so dark around your face?" "What was she thinking?!" "That's not right" "ask for a refund". I went to get a Olaplex treatment to repair the damaged hair at another salon. I also wanted to speak to other professionals about what I could do and get their opinion. I have to wait 4 weeks to get this fixed and spend more money. My 40th birthday is in 4 weeks and hopefully it will be better for that milestone day. I don't want ugly hair in my pictures and I cry every time I style it. I kindly requested a refund of the amount she charged me for the botched color job, with no response. I had multiple professionals tell me she messed up and to ask for a refund. 3 at the salon that did the Olaplex, my previous stylist and another at my gym. Unfortunately my last resort is to let people know how unprofessional and untrained she is. Do not go to her or you will be stuck like me. Beware. read more

Had my hair done by Jennifer for the first time in June of this year, looked good, I was pleased with color and cut...went back in August for the same thing, root touch up, highlights and haircut. Not sure what was going on this time, highlights blend through leaving stripes in my hair, and the most awful haircut I have had in a LONG time. My hair was hacked up and looks horrible.
