The moment I walked in and met the owner, Tanya, I knew I was in the right place. I've traveled the world pretty extensively and I have to say I can't remember ever having had a better experience. I've been in spas ranging from 5 star Ritz Carltons to 5 star castles in Europe and though Rejuvenation can't compete with multimillion dollar surroundings it would still be my first choice at any time. Instead of bleaching, she explained that bleaching at all would damage it (obviously) but she explained it like it would ruin it curly or straight but she had bleached hair too? I tried to do my undercut instead because I could just shave it, but she still refused, I'm guessing cause she didn't know how to do my hair. She offered me a moisturizing treatment because my hair was dry, (mind you because I didn't wash my hair for the upcoming bleaching) and then to shave my undercut? I ended up bleaching hair at home (2 round) and got to my desired level and dyed it at home and my curls were fine but not ruined like she explained it.

If clients are required to call 24 hours in advanced for cancellations to respect the staff members time the staff member should be able to do the same for the client. The receptionist was beyond rude, saying she couldn't understand why I didn't call earlier than 5 minutes before my appointment since they had a 24 hour cancelation policy. I pointed out I hadn't planned on being sick so couldn't have called 24 hours in advance,  and called as early as I thought I could given my appointment was at 9, and they open at 9. She then went on to say I should have called earlier and left a message or texted because the owner always checks messages and they could have gotten other people in because there were a lot of people waitlisted. She had the snottiest tone in this 3 minute phone call where she fought with someone who was clearly sick.  I told her I was so upset with how she treated me,  didn't appreciate it,  was offended,  and wouldn't be coming back.  She just hung up on me.  I reached out to the owner,  who according to this receptionist,  is constantly checking messages but it's been crickets. For all of you who came after 9 who would have been exposed to a nasty bug if I would have come,  just know they apparently would rather I have kept the appointment than worry about your health.

Kayce is absolutely phenomenal! She happened to be the person who set me up with my tanning and I would see her almost every time I tanned. I asked her if she could do a certain color for me, and she took on the challenge right away. I have now gone to her 3 times and I am so thankful I was able to find someone I can trust with my hair, someone that listens to me, and is able to have fun and carry a conversation while doing my hair. Take advantage of the amenities and make a day of it. We stayed there for 6 hours and really felt we got our moneys worth. It's a great place to unplug and relax. Bring a book, order a glass of wine and relax on a lounger. Everything about the spa is elegant and refined. There are waitstaff there to take care of all of your needs and there is a cafe upstairs that has fine food if you're there long enough. I cannot recommend this place enough.
