Very pleased with my service. Happened to stop by while working. They were able to see me immediately. Luis did a fantastic job. Shaving the back of my head. Not a single extra hair was cut! She blended a color that was my natural color without the grey and applied it perfectly and very evenly. She cut my hair to perfectly frame my face. Her work was meticulous. She did a spectacular job, the best I have ever had! I left the salon feeling and looking 20 years younger. Salon Oasis is very upbeat. There are just a few things that are difficult to find when you move to a new city and a hair dresser is one of them ! I found Salon Oasis on line and they were close to home ... and my hair was seriously out of control after the quarantine. I had an fantastic experience with Ron! He was professional and very very detailed with my hair ! He listened to my thoughts, took time to view my pictures and then truly took his time during the cut. Beat of all, he gave me an amazing hair cut! I love it! Thank you Ron!! The only draw back was the shampoo - for a spa ... it truly lacked professionalism and comfort in this area. She was rough, and the water was cold... not warm but again COLD. I mentioned it twice. She did not take her time and I was continually sprayed with water. It was not busy at all so that was not the issue. Much needed improvement. Pricing ... on the pricey side ... but hey good hairdresser are hard to find and it's Boca! I was skeptical because I've not had a good turn out with explaining to stylist exactly what I'm looking for when it comes to color. A friend referred me to LC for color and Raquel for my cut. LC was so nice and listened to all of my questions. She was good at giving me feedback and understood exactly what I was asking for. I made sure not look at the process and wanted to be surprised after I was cut and blow dried. Seriously, I can not tell you how happy I am that I went to her. She did exactly what I wanted. She went beyond my expectations. I can not wait to go back and go a bit lighter, now that I trust her! Raquel was a delight as well and made sure to keep my length and fixed a cut from a previous stylist. I have very curly hair and Raquel was not fazed by my long curly hair. She blowed and flat ironed it perfectly, then added some curls after my cut. Ginger at the wash station was also nice and did a great job not getting my shirt wet or water in my ears. My experience was so good that I need to write a review ASAP! I decided to go on Yelp to search for a salon near by work. I came across Salon Oasis and decided to give it a try. I did not know any hairstylist so I wished myself luck and whoever they put me with was good. When I called in they had an available appointment with Ron at the time that was best for me (Yay! finally a much needed haircut). Appointment Day: I arrive a few mins early and checked out the salon. The staff greeted me and I sat in the waiting area for a few minutes. Ron arrived and introduced himself. SUPER nice and outgoing. I love it when the hairstylist make you feel comfortable. The last thing you want to do is sit in a chair with no communication. He immediately started conversation and took a look at my hair. I wanted to keep the length and he made sure to take note of that. My hair is very long and can look dull after not getting a haircut for a while. I definitely needed volume. He started with a dry cut and has a very unique technique. It was like watching someone create art. I couldn't help but take notice and appreciate the time he was taking with my hair. After he was done he sent me over to get a hair wash with Dani. She was very friendly and washes hair amazingly good. Super relaxing! Once she was completed I went back to Ron and he started the blow dry. Usually, I am not satisfied with anyone when they blow dry my hair. I tend to look like a porcupine with all my baby hair everywhere. He took his time and took small sections to make sure it was dried completely and styled to show the cut he had just given me. The end result was amazing!! I can't say how happy I am with Ron. I went here for a haircut with Sasha and was very happy. I was greeted nicely by the front desk and was very happy with my service. I needed to get my hair shaped and the hairdresser followed what I asked for. If I wanted something different she would have given that to me as well. She did ask if I wanted to talk to their color area afterwards which I politely declined (even though it is gratis). Fortunately, there was no pressure to meet with the color consultation area or to make a future appointment. When I am ready I will call the salon again. I did notice on my way out of the salon, they had cookies if you wanted to have any in the front waiting area). They have expanded their salon upstairs and they now are more of a salon and do massages etc (They have new owners as of two months ago). I'm curious about the massages etc but I might wait to see what specials they have to encourage people to use their new services. read more

If I could give a 0 starts, I would. My daughter made a hair appointment for her senior pictures at 8:30. She had a make appointment right after. Her professional senior pictures were scheduled at 11:30. As soon as she got to her make up appointment she noticed that her curls dropped in a dramatic way. I called the salon and they recommended for her to go back; of course everything was planned perfectly to make it to her picture session so there was no extra time. I called them to ask for a refund since her hair was ruined, they offered me a rain check so she could have it done another day since they didn't want to give me the refund .... Really??? HER GRADUATION PHOTO SESSION WAS RUINED AND THEY WANTED ME TO GO BACK ANOTHER DAY? I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They said that they wouldn't give me the refund because my daughter had a haircut..... the whole reason she got it was because she was getting her hair done for her pictures! She could have got a haircut and a style that was perfect for her pictures at a salon that knows how to do their job, and I would have been happy to pay anything for her to look good for such an event. I wish I could give 5 stars because overall I truly did have a wonderful experience and I thoroughly liked how well my hair turned out after my blow dry. However, when I mentioned to the stylist to please put anti-frizz or mousse or any other product in my hair, she was very minimal with it. She put a dollop of mouse at the crown to help with volume, but didn't put anything else in. My hair is wavy and in the Florida humidity, it definitely needs product. When I walked out the door, I felt great. But 2 hours later my blow dry was flat and frizzy and wavy. Considering the blow-dry was $53 for my long hair, I expected amazing staying power. Although the stylist was very friendly and did an amazing job, I won't be going back. The results didn't justify the price. read more

Terrible experience with RAQUEL and Front desk. RAQUEL did not listen to what I said I wanted at all. She cut over 3" more than I asked and left front totally uneven and side layers a mess. Worst haircut I ever had. And she was rude when I called salon to have her atleast look at it she said she has no time at all for a week. Front desk gave me the run around for days trying to not deal with the issue and ended up being rude also. Eventually I was given an appoint. with Juliana who said she "can not do anything" to fix it. I asked for a refund and I got it. I went to another salon where they "corrected" RAQUEL's mess very nicely. However it will take a long time for it to be the lenght I wanted after it was cut way shorter by RAQUEL. This place is a racket. I went in as a new client and encountered the following: --Rude front desk staff - very abrupt and unhelpful on the phone. They are very much all in a hurry and trying to get off the phone. --A separate person will seat you, another person provides you water and puts a smock on you, another person does your color, another still does your cut, another does your shampoo/rinse and another does your blow out. This is insane. --It's too many people touching your hair and not one person "in charge" to make sure you're happy with your service. --When I was there I heard multiple staff comment that "the owners are out of town!" and they were all in the back drinking and having a party. --I had a pedicure before my color and that was pretty bad too. There were nicks in the color and the woman cut my leg. I could go into more detail but its not worth it. The hair was the real problem... I had Nicole do my color. She was not friendly - very matter of fact (that part I can get over as long as she's a good colorist) but she spent 2 seconds assessing my hair and discussing what to do. She immediately starting loading my hair with permanent base color (without consulting that this was what I wanted to do. We discussed highlights/lowlights vs. permanent base but she just made the decision, disappeared, came back with color and started painting my head). Following the base color I was rushed over to rinse out and then rushed back over to Nicole to finalize highlights. After that I never spoke to her again. Not once did she come over to see how I liked the final results. After the color was rinsed out and I was stuck under a dryer - the colorist started on another client. I had to walk over and ask for my purse which was stuck back by her area and it was so weird. I have never been in the middle of a service and had my stylist start on another customer. I was there for a routine color service - nothing crazy, Finally after my hair was somewhat dry from the auto-dryer, I got up (with no one attending to me), took my smock back to the hamper, paid and left. I am still baffled that not once did the colorist check in to make sure I was happy with the results. She was too busy with her next client. My final results are not desirable. I'm wayyyy too much of one color. There is no definition with my hair. It's pretty concerning at these prices. When I checked out, the front desk person (very young girl who I think was not the normal front desk person and maybe was the rinse person) checked me out, never once said thank you and mid-transaction started ringing someone else up. What an experience. I would caution anyone new who is trying this place out to know what you're in for. I'm not going back. read more

My first visit to this salon. Raquel cut my long hair and did a nice job. No complaints. I would have her cut my hair again. She was nice with pretty long hair herself so I like it when the stylist knows what you are asking for and your concerns. The shampoo/trim/blow dry was $75 and I was in and out in 45 minutes. I felt the price of the salon was a lot for the experience as a whole. The main issue to me is the salon itself. It is a zoo, a true boiler room - super busy and hectic. There is one couch for the waiting area so it was very cramped. I was relieved not to wait long. But then, the shampoo area is ridiculous. I had to stand in line for a shampoo in a really crowded confused area, and someone cut in front of me saying she had somewhere to be...ummm like the rest of us don't. Then when I was getting a shampoo, there was more bickering in the line - more arguments over who was next. The shampoo was super quick and very stressful and I had a ton of anxiety before I even sat in the chair for my haircut. I spent the first 5 min really annoyed. There are 20 chairs that were all full. The place is like the New York stock exchange. Maybe it is just me, but I can't take the ambiance. When paying the check, guess what, another crazy line to wait in where they were yelling/asking for who was next. I really want to find a salon that makes a person feel pampered...and this place is sooooo not it. read more
