I decided to try a caramel blonde box color and totally failed! My roots came out very orange and bright. The next morning, I called a list of salons to try to fix my mistake. Keila answered with a kind voice and took my appointment. She was so unbothered by my last minute appointment and optimistic that she could fix my hair. I was assigned to a hair cutter that I do not know. Maybe she's a rookie hair cutter. She didn't follow what I wanted; she made it very short and didn't do exactly what I wanted. I was very upset when I got home looking closely in the mirror. I gave her tip because I thought it was okay because she blow dry my hair. Cut was not right it's uneven. Not going there anymore. Once I tried a salon and not satisfied, I never come back; i refuse to be a repeat customer. " Repeat customers" is the life of a successful business. Areli, not very personable and every time I left, I had color stained all over my forehead and sides of my face. ( I never complained, but should have for the money I paid, I never had this issue with any other Hair stylist) After two weeks, if not sooner than that, my color/hi-lights were bleeding thru/grey coverage gone and for the price she charges, just ridiculous. Every time I tried to book an appointment, it was like I was bothering her, like I should have been thankful for HER, when in reality, she should have been thankful for my business. My first time and I was encouraged to try this salon, because i saw there were customers inside; my experience with one of their haircutters was a disaster. The lady who was assigned to cut my hair looks like a rookie haircutter. She did not understand what i wanted it was a "disaster" i was so upset when i got home; she cut my hair so short and did not follow what i wanted. It was not a Bob cut but i want a longer, she did straight cut with no layers in the back. So upsetting. Super impressed. Sydney did my hair the exact way I wanted it in two visits! The previous stylist I was seeing at a different salon couldn't do this in a dozen visits. I love that Sydney was able to do what she said she could. When she started my hair she consulted with the salon owner to ensure the process she was suggesting would provide the results I wanted. When I went back for the second and final step; Sydney came into the salon on her day off to finish my hair. The salon is set up nicely, it's very spacious and clean, love the decorations. Very disappointed with the stylist (Lana) at this salon, for what I paid, I should be writing a positive review. My stylist and friend Sara has been coloring and styling my hair for years now. I've been following her from different salons, and am excited to say that she finally has her own place. There are other talented stylists here too but I'm relieved to see her finally at a place she can call "home." She's completely renovated the salon and interior is charming- similar to that found on Fixer Upper the HGTV show. You'd never expect this secret salon to be in the same building (but separate space) as the Shell gas station! She is very talented and has done great this with my hair both when it's been short and now that it's long. She's not afraid to experiment and try different colors and styles and what I love about her most is her honesty with what can and cannot be done with the type of hair that I have. She's great with people and I'm sure that you'll love this family run salon. It's is quite the drive to Sun City Festival but it's a lot more quick and peaceful drive than dealing with driving to the Arrowhead area where everything is chaotic and difficult to access. read more

Tried this Salon that is new to my neighborhood. Pleasantly surprised that it has been renovated and there are 5 stylists. Sara did my hair, and she did a great job. Very happy we have a nice salon.... so close to home. Hopefully- someday they will add someone to do manicures and pedicures:) read more

Sara did offer to fix my hair, but I declined because (1) I don't trust her to fix it - a professional and experienced hairdresser would know limits and let you know multiple sessions will be needed or at least warn you what will happen if you just do one long session instead of tell you it was possible in the first place and make this mistake (2) Sara basically tried to play off the blame and called me stupid for not understanding how hair chem works-- if you're professional, you should not treat a client that way whether they understand hair chemistry or not. Also if she understood hair chemistry she would have taken better precaution with my hair ( goes back to professional point #1) read more

Sara is a diamond in the rough. She's literally an oasis in the desert. Her little shop is nestled on the north end of the White Tank Mountains in Buckeye AZ, in the middle Of the desert. I tell you, I would travel a couple hours to have her do my hair. Fortunately getting to her shop is not hard at all. It takes just a few scenic minutes to get to, off of the 303 & Bell Road. Sara treats you like family. Any other stylist would have dropped me by now bc I have had to cancel due to my extreme medical issues and the special needs of my daughter but not Sara. She is a very kind soul. She loves and genuinely cares for her clients and their families. Her skills with hair are unarguably the best in the west. I have naturally curly hair and I have lupus so my hair is extremely difficult to manage. Sara makes me look healthy and vibrant. Other stylists have stopped me in public to ask who does my hair because the cut and color are always profoundly brilliant. I have been to a lot of hair salons before finding Sara. I have even been to Fox and Jane in NYC and The Fringe here and AZ but none of them took as good of care of my hair, colored my hair and cut it as good as Sara. read more
