My first time at a salon since moving here was terrible! They did not listen to what I wanted and damaged my hair beyond what it was just to fix it. I found Salon Orea on yelp with all their positive reviews it could not go wrong, and it didn't! I went in to get my hair that was down to my lower back cut off to a long bob due to the damage from Paisley Salon it had to go! At first i was very shocked and sad about my hair being so short in comparison to what it was but Amanda did exactly as i asked and after a few days i have grown to love it. Finally after 5 years of searching high & low for a good stylist in Denver, I am totally satisfied with my cut. I was a client for 2 appointments and then had to cancel my 3rd. I requested an appointment in the following 2 weeks and when the lady at the front desk couldn't find one she took my number down and said she would have Theresa call me and reschedule. This was in September and no one has called me back. Apparently they don't care if people come in more than a couple of times and can afford to lose clients. I feel as a client I was worth keeping. I tipped $25 (at least) for each appointment and those were $150 a piece and was always on time. I wasn't rude or unpleasant and was not overly demanding, so I feel this review is warranted and now I have to find another place to have my hair done..... any suggestions from others in or near Aurora, CO are welcome. read more

When you set an appointment, just give the scheduler a rough idea of what you went. When I went in, my stylist wasn't comfortable doing a pixie cut and my appointment had to be rescheduled. The manager came to check with me after I spoke to my stylist, abd both amazingly nice about it. I couldn't be more grateful that my stylist was so upfront and honest. Not to mention, they went out of their way to get me a new appointment just a couple days later. It sucked a bit to have to go in and leave, but I appreciate the honesty and have no complaints about the ladies. read more
