I panicked late last night as my hair was simply too long and too neglected to deal with. I found some good reviews for Salon Parente and was able to book a next day appointment with Kristie. I was surprised at how busy and large the salon was, but they seemed to be very organized. Kristie got me right on time. She was friendly but worked efficiently without slowing down to chat, which I really appreciate. She quickly gave me the layered bob I asked for and had me out the door right on time! I will be back, but probably not until after a period of neglect. read more

Not worth your time and money! Called to get an appt. Was told same day at 12:45pm was available so I took it. I was running a bit behind due to the appt being booked so quickly. I arrived and the person cutting my hair (Bobby) said he has another appt at 1pm!?!? Why was I scheduled 15 mins before then??? I PAID $65 and received and $20 Super Cuts haircut. He rushed! Didn't dry my hair! Didn't even cut my hair correctly! I asked for layers and my hair is all one length!! Gave it time to get used to and it's just not done correctly or what I asked for. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING and ultimately heartbreaking!! Now I have to pay someone else to fix their mess!!! Do not go here!!! read more

LOVE this salon! I've have Gallarie and Brandi as stylists and both have done wonderful things with my hair! When I went in recently I had Brandi. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but she was able to figure it out for me. I explained to her that I wanted to be blonder but didn't want to have to upkeep too often, so she did a partial balayage on my darker areas. The color is amazing! She also cut off a bunch of my dead ends so my hair is lighter and happier all over! I don't live in this are, but I'd love to come back when I'm in the area! read more

Great Clips is "like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get". First time I came I got a so-so haircut. This time I received the worst hair cut I have ever had in my 67 year old life. I told the gal how I wanted it cut, even pointed to a picture on the wall. She nodded and proceeded to scalp me. She spent less than 5 minutes on my hair. If you like to gamble, this is the place for you. As for me, never again. read more

BEWARE when going to this salon. Apparently their customer satisfaction policy does NOT apply to all their stylists. I had spent $1200 to go lighter and after 3 sessions ended up with awful orange hair that was so damaged I had to cut it off. After calling the salon and speaking with them I was told that the stylist no longer works "for the salon" (only rents a chair) so the policy would not apply. I was never told about this before booking my services so I was pretty upset. Nobody should have to pay $1200 and walk out of the salon crying all the way home because of how much they hate their hair. read more

I had long enough hair to get any layer but short Latina girl cut my hair and just killed it , then I went there again next day to fix the layer I even showed her pic that I wanted but she said it's too late it's too short now then she cut my hair even without making wet. I am 30 years old and have enough experience that how people cut and layer hair she just don't know what she is doing or just doesn't have enough experienced. First time here. A little bit disappointed. Hair was cut very quickly, about 15 minutes. Appointment was late in the afternoon so hairstylist may be tired and needed to go home. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the friendly host at the desk. She offered me something to drink to which I kindly accepted some hot tea. I received excellent service from Jessilyn! I found a groupon for a balayage highlight for a good price and read several good reviews on Groupon which made me excited about going through with the deal. I knew it was very last minute to try and get an appointment day of, but thought it was worth a try! I was seen right at 2pm and was extremely happy when I walked out at around 5:30pm-6pm. She had such a good attitude for taking me as a last minute walk-in throughout our session together. Though conversation is not required during hair appointments, I really did appreciate Jessilyn making conversation with me. Her sweet personality made it very easy to talk to her and made me feel like my hair was in good hands. I also really appreciated her attentiveness and hardwork while cutting / dying my thick monster-like hair LOL. Putting on the foils took almost two hours and normally by this time, I notice past stylists getting angsty that I have SO much hair hahaha. But i never got that reaction from Jessilyn! I would not recommend this salon. The first stylist did died my hair almost black verses cool dark brown. She did it style my hair and I left the salon work soaking wet hair. In had color in in my ears; face, etc. I was also charge way more than I was told. I spoke with the owner and he said he would fix my hair and refund my money. I did not get the refund. He curled my hair and I did note notice that the highlights did not blend and were way too blond. My hair is like straw now. I am now having to go to someone else to $325 to fix this. Lesson learned do not tick off the owner. read more
