I purchased a hair product there for $47, then realized afterward the exact same product/size is selling for around $25 at Ulta and Amazon, and even the brand's own website has it listed for $36. Marking products up that much is pretty scammy and left a bad taste in my mouth, so I definitely wouldn't purchase products from the salon again. Very unhappy! I…read morecalled ahead of time - last week- asked prices and told Simon the owner specifically that I wanted only a balayage since it's so expensive . I came to my appointment this week for half head balayage (250$) and reiterated I'm returning for roots (90$) and hair cut (90$) for a second appointment in two weeks for a wedding . When it was time to pay he charged me 340$! When I asked why he insisted that he had asked me if I wanted the roots done too ( he never asked) and that I ok -ed it which was not true and makes no sense since I already had a future appointment with him in two weeks right before the wedding! I didn't want to make a scene so I just said I'm unhappy, paid and left. But I feel I was not only robbed of 90$ but also he totally messed up my schedule because I can't color roots two weeks later and my color won't look as great in the wedding photos. So how does it look: My hair turned out too blond feels very very dry , frizzy and has this dull appearance of overprocessed . And those roots I didn't ask for but he said he did them anyway ...he missed at least one place on the top of my head that I can see white hair ( check photo) Usually clients are asked if they want to get a shine rinse and many places massage your scalp during the shampoo but the place was filled with people so he rushed through my wash in a few minutes barely shampoo and conditioner . Time: When I came in I told them I had pain from a broken sternum and sit for too long . I sat there for three and a half hours since he overbooked people and appointments overlapsed. I have contacted Simon about the white roots that were clearly missed the first time around. I will keep you posted if he will attempt to rectify the roots and do something about the lack of shine to the hair.
