However, partway through my shellac manicure, she was sent to do a pedicure for another customer. Another woman, who seemed to be the owner, stepped in with no introduction or explanation and just continued the service. I had asked for an almond-square shape, but she did a square shape instead, which wasn't what I wanted. I decided to let that go at the time. Unfortunately, the shellac started chipping just two days later, and another nail chipped on day 7. Normally, my shellac lasts over two weeks without issue, so I was really disappointed in the quality. Overall, I appreciated the convenience and the quick seating, but the communication, attention to detail, and durability of the manicure fell short.

There was a candy bowl out indicating a family friendly salon for those who like or need to bring their children with them. Walk-ins are welcome and I was seated right away without a wait. I was offered and accepted a complimentary bottle of water to sip on while enjoying my pedicure. A 10% discount is given on services on ones' birthday. I chose the Serenity Spa Manicure for $35 and the Signature Pedicure for $40. Service was performed by one technician which allowed me to read my book in peace without constantly being interrupted. My cuticles were not properly pushed back or cleaned up, the French tips were uneven, and the overall finish looked messy and unfinished. I've included photos because the quality speaks for itself. What bothered me even more was how my concerns were handled. I addressed the issues with my nail tech THREE separate times during my appointment, and instead of correcting them, she continued with the service and essentially ignored what I was asking her to fix. When it was time to pay, I explained everything to the owner. Her response was that I should have addressed the issues while my nails were being done. I explained that I DID three times. She then suggested that maybe the nail tech "didn't understand me." That was not the issue. I clearly communicated what I was unhappy with and gave them multiple opportunities to correct it. Instead of acknowledging the poor service or trying to make the situation right, the response felt defensive and dismissive. I don't expect absolute perfection, but I do expect a professional manicure and for my concerns to be taken seriously, especially when I'm speaking up DURING the service. Unfortunately, neither happened here. I left feeling like they cared more about defending the work than making sure their customer was satisfied.
