Literally then when I said okay take off the pinky and make it match she basically said she couldn't. Literally leaving the salon like this...and having to go to a different one. I think maybe she missed a few spots with the top coat since it started chipping like 2 days after but I'm not fretting since it was over all well done and she was super nice. About a week later and aside from a few chips, which you wouldn't notice unless you you're actually looking, they've stayed fairly well. Not only did they accomodate my walk in, they didn't even blink at my request for the ombre nail and they spent extra time making sure it looked like the picture I brought. The prices are very reasonable considering the time they put into making things perfect. My Gel X ombre came out exactly how I wanted it and I will definitely be coming back. The cat eye doesn't show, the silver looks messy and botched (not even 3D), and she did not apologize - she just made excuses as to why it was "different". I called on Friday afternoon for an appointment and they were able to see me within 15 minutes of my call. There are a large variety of colours. Chromes, iridescent, neons, bright and pale shades. I have never tried gel-x before and I am glad I did. They feel light and are not thick like acrylics can be. The tech who did my nails was detailed and took a lot of time to shape my nails and make sure they felt comfortable. At one point, I told her my thumb hurt. The gel-x just felt as if it were too tight. She patiently took it off, got a larger size, and redid my nail. No attitude or complaining, she was very kind. This little shop is tucked in the corner of a small strip mall off 99. The interior is simple and inviting. The staff are friendly and they are not overpriced. Getting my nails done helps me feel pulled together no matter how messy I really am. I feel pulled together and get a kick of confidence. But a lot of times, the money I spend doesn't feel worth it. I called in for mani/pedi for 2 people on the same day and they were able to fit us in on that same day. Some of the staff were friendly but some were definitely not. For me, my pedicure was fine but during my manicure, lady did not ask me for shape, and I had to remind her several times the shape I wanted. For my friend I came with, her cuticle actually bled during the manicure, and for pedicure, thought everything was okay but the next day, she woke up with mild rashes around her feet. I'm just a little disappointed because I wanted to like this place- it is in a great location but guess it is just not a great fit for me! read more

Probably the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. I came here because they seem to do really good nails from what I saw on Yelp so I booked a manicure and a pedi . My pedicure took an hour and fifteen minutes , the pictures below are as soon as I left the salon. It's thick, blotchy, there's black things in it, and it's smudged. The lady came over and smudged my toe with her finger to see if it was done, and went " oops, not dry yet, wait 5 more min" and walked away. Literally fully messing up my toe. I've been to 100's of nail salons and never had good enough service to write a review. This was my 2nd time in. The first time, I got a pedicure with Trinny. She took care of my ingrown toe nail like no nail tech has ever done before. I was amazed. Pedicure looks beautiful as well. Today I got a manicure with Jenny. She did such an AMAZING job. I came in to have someone fix the botched manicure I got *somewhere else* (the cuticle scab in the picture is from a different salon) and Jenny did not disappoint. Not only did she turn my nightmare nails into beauty, she was honest and provided great customer service. I was experiencing severe pregnancy related nausea and Jenny knew without me having to say anything. She brought me a fan and a big apple juice (for free!) and nursed me back to health all while providing detailed attention to my nails. Love love love her! They could use more color selections... but worth the sacrifice for their work ;) read more

So happy I decided to try a new place! I currently don't have allegiance to anywhere because my previous job didn't allow me to have my nails done, so it's been about 3 years since I've had a manicure. Two weeks ago I went to a different nail salon and my experience was fine, but the simple design I asked for took the nail technician a long time and she clearly had a difficult time with it. I LOVE unique nails and am all about the designs so it's important for me that the place I go to is good at that and puts an emphasis on it. Well, AD nails does just that. There is a flat screen on the wall showcasing all of their awesome nail designs they've done as a picture slideshow. I really enjoyed watching it while I had mine done and getting inspiration. Plus, it was just great to see what they could do. I believe it was the owner that did my nails and I loved her! She was sweet and had such great attention to detail. Absolutely obsessed with Anh Dao! The whole staff is super friendly, and have great attention to detail. Maya is such an amazing pedicure tech, really great massages and goes in on nails & cuticles so they look and feel their best. Even with regular polish on the toes, her work has never been chipped when I come back every 3 weeks or so, unless I have run into something and literally broken off part of my toenail lol. Jenny's nail work is impeccable as well - she is so great at being clear about what you're wanting, doing the job beautifully and continuing to ask if you like how things are turning out throughout the process. My nails have significantly improved in their strength & general health since I found this gem. Completely in love with my fresh matte gel nails with the almond shape. Classic toes in the same color for a bit of variation. Been coming here for several months, and I adore this salon and these techs. I tried this salon based on the reviews and it's close to my place. With no dipping powder experience before I thought Jenny at Anh Dao did a good job on my nails, so I went back again. Till the 3rd time for a fill, they said Jenny was on vacation and booked me with an older guy. And that was a scary experience. I was cut, bleeding and my nails were uneven and bulky. Needless to say I'd never go back and later I found out Jenny left the salon. I moved on to another highly recommended girl/place who did a great job on my nails. And that's when I found out what Jenny did on my nails were not professional at all. Jenny applied too many layers which subsequently made my nails look very thick, not natural. During my first two appointments with Jenny at Anh Dao, Jenny said she never went for professional training on "dipping powder". She said she just watched and learned. Which I thought I'd share it here and you be the judge. Aside from those, language is definitely a barrier and they don't clean up the grounding dusts and debris promptly. The workstations are not clean. I'd never recommend this salon. read more

Massages are consistently solid! They are relaxing while still offering firm pressure unlike so many places where it's just rubbing lotion in but not a true massage. Anh's is the best I've come across in a while for this reason. They also do a great job of cleaning up my nails. The lady who identified as the owner told me $60 for my daughters set and then the lady doing her nails changed it to $65 at check out and said the other lady didn't include the length but the other lady was supposedly the owner, the owner doesn't know the prices!? Her fill was more than her set originally was even tho everything was the same, length shape etc and last time she even got designs -- they will rip you off and then will talk about you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Editing to include response from company- It was a fill! $65 for a fill when it's $45 normally how are you calling me cheap? Only one nail was broken, the technician chose to remove two others without my daughters consent and then started over charging. Just because you offer 20% off you can't sit there and say you're so cheap and worth it when you purposely drive the price up and gouge and then lie about the price very horrible and rude people legit dont ever go to them they will just rip you off and then sit here and call you cheap ALSO here's where we were price gouged- Fill- $45 Full set $55 1 nail was completely off and we knew that had to be repaired but then the nail tech took two more off without my daughters consent that she said were fraying at the edges but we didn't see. So she said $7 each nail for length and shape. So you're charging me $21 extra when a full set is only ten more so I'm like ok do a new full set then so she has fresh nails and she's like no it'll be $10 to remove and then I'll charge for shape and all this. I called the salon to see if I could get in for a mani/pedi and was told I could come right in. I certainly wasn't expecting to get in right away but am sooo glad I was able to. I was coming from the north so had to make a u turn on 99 in order to get into their lot. No biggie. There is ample parking right in front of the salon. I entered Anh Dao and was pleasantly greeted by the owner. I was actually shocked to see an empty salon but that didn't bother me. Inside is clean, bright, and had a pleasant tune playing. No wait, i was sat at her station right away and offered a beverage. I opted for the hot tea and we began to discuss what services I wanted for the day. She was very helpful and informative when suggesting options to accompany my mani/pedi but was in no way pushy in trying to sell me something. Jenny was friendly, thorough, and quite meticulous in her work. My nails looked amazing. The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality of service you receive. They even do a stamp card that gets you a discount on a future service when full. This has been my go to nail salon ever since. I just dont get in as much as I'd like to. read more
