The stylist was friendly, but he also spent quite a bit of time complaining about the pandemic restrictions. It also took almost 2 hours for a simple cut and blow dry. And when I arrived at home I discovered that he cut my hair a full inch shorter on one side. read more

My haircut was not even close to what I wanted. Very uneven and could not style had to have it fixed at another salon. Very disappointed for the money I paid. read more

About the only perk that Covid has offered is that it helped me break the lazy habit of going back to a salon where my hair was just okay... and sometimes not. Looking for a great cut and color after 5 months of coloring it myself led me to try out this salon. Dean proved to be more than a top notch stylist. I've been trying to grow out a Pixie (ladies DO NOT fall into the romance of this trend as I did! - Wayyyy tooo much upkeep and takes forever to grow it out again!). The last time I got my haircut, had a bad experience (see my reviews!) and so I had my husband trim up the ends and just kept wearing my hair up. Then I had to have surgery. I knew I couldn't go in with 67 hair clips/bobby pins/ etc and would have to wear my hair down - and the fear of dying during surgery and dying with bad hair was keeping me up at night. The day before surgery, I was driving by a salon that is just down the street from my house that said, "Today only 1/2 hair cut!" Well, why not! Just in case I didn't die in surgery, I'd have a stylish haircut and had saved some money! Brandie is new to the salon, though has been cutting hair for years in a high end salon in a different area. As soon as I met her, I felt totally at ease. She didn't shame me for having my husband cut the back of my hair (it really was horrible) or for avoiding salons. She didn't pressure me to buy product (a pet peeve of mine!) and she was very easy going, totally relaxing, and knew what she was doing. When I left, my hair looked great just the simple time and shape made me feel great. I ended up making it thru surgery and looked very stylish in the hospital while recovering. I'm so glad that "sign" was outside the salon that day - which reaffirms my belief in signs (and in great hairdressers!) read more

Kind of new to the area so I've tried a couple different salons recently. This was my first visit and I had a great experience! Everyone was so nice; I never felt like I didn't fit in with the "regulars". Talented staff. Even the receptionist was nice! Kind of like everyone there liked their job too! Heather listened to me babble about what I want to do to my hair but what I know I don't want, kind of indecisive I-don't-get-my-hair-done-often, and she never showed frustration with me, she was super confident, knows what she is doing - I love it. Can't wait to go back with some of the promotional gifts I left with and a spiffy gift bag with samples and coupons! Thank God they have off street parking - ooooh, and Saturday hours! read more

I have been in this salon a few times. They are always professional, courteous and make you feel at home. I just had a hair cut and style with Austin. He took the time to really listen to what I had in mind. He provide honest and appreciated feedback. My cut turned out better than I imaged! I definitely recommend this salon and Austin! read more

Been a client of Denise's for several years and she is really is a "miracle worker" with my hair. She knows the right cut to work around my cowlicks, the right color to suit my skin tone and she gives her honest opinion if I want to make a change. She's awesome. The rest of the staff are always cordial and the front desk staff is so accommodating to fitting me in when they can. There is a reason why they have won The Best of Bucks . Definitely worth trying out if your current salon isn't leaving you happy with your hair. read more

Best salon I've ever been to! Catherine (sorry if I misspelled the name) set the wonderful tone for this salon and helped me over the phone to select someone to cut my waist-length, neglected, and very fragile hair while sparing the length, yet make it look age-appropriate for an older lady. I need to be able to put it up in any style by summer so I thought I'd have to compromise on the length of the front, which I want to keep shorter for the winter, a big part in making it look age appropriate worn completely down for the winter. I cut my own hair regularly, but once a year I need a professional cut, because that's about how long I can manage it by myself. Kaelyn, also extremely nice, was suggested for the cut.. She did not need to cut off much, yet it looked so much better than before she started. I didn't want it styled there after the cut because my hair's so fragile, but Kaelyn was so gentle, I didn't even realize she was styling it until she was almost finished. I also found I can wear my hair up in any style right away, as somehow, she did not need to remove any of the important length. Her result really was like magic and I told her so before I left. Also, the product I purchased there for hair loss has already given my mom about an inch of hair in her bald spot! If you can't get Kaelyn, just go there anyway. I cannot really list all the good things about this salon, but it simply seems perfect. I will travel out of the area if necessary to get to this salon. read more

I LOVE this salon, I've been living in doylestown for 14 years and have tried a few different hair stylists and salons. Nobody I have used has thrilled me I do not consider myself an overly picky person when it comes to my hair as I am in my mid 50s and have outgrown that! I have used Denise at Sal Christian since I started going here. I had never gotten any compliments on my in the past 5 years or so until she started cutting and coloring it. I have been going here for years now (I've followed my stylist around to three different salons) and I absolutely love Salon Salvatore Christian! It's always super clean, the staff are incredibly nice (they always offer coffee, tea, or water as soon as I step foot in the door) and I always feel so welcome. The only bad part is that I can never get my hair to look as good at home as it does the second I leave there! I love the products they use and wish I could buy them all. They have also just recently started confirming appointments via email which is fantastic because I tend to book about 6-8 weeks in advance and forget to put it on my calendar when I book it. I also love getting my hair washed there because the chairs they wash your hair in are so comfortable and the girls massage your head as they wash it. I can't count the number of times I've fallen asleep while getting my hair washed. :-) read more
