My stylist took me back and discussed the style I wanted then gave me an amazing shampoo. When I got back to my chair my tea was waiting. While getting my blowout there was a cute RomCom on the tv to keep me entertained. My stylish was very friendly and had great conversation. I always love my blowouts and they usually will last me 5 days. My only downside is getting appointments here can be challenging. They are always booked so make sure you book well in advance if you need a blowout for an event. Also- parking is always a challenge at Avalon so allow yourself time before your appointment to park.

I called and spoke with someone on the phone. 3. She called me back later and told me to text her my name and hair. 4. Went to the salon and the person who was doing my hair told me it's just a blow out. I showed the post to her that this is not what's posted. 5. The owner came over with an attitude telling me what the FREE service was and that, "Sorry if you misunderstood that". This prompted me to show the post to her. She said someone should have talked to me, I told her no one talked to me. 6. Owner told me that I can't be picky about FREE services and that I misunderstood. Since I don't look happy, she doesn't want me there. 7. I told her I'm not happy because she's making me sound like I misunderstood the message post. She was not apologetic and asked me to show her the text, I did. She still didn't apologize except kept repeating, "There was no communication". 8. She turned to another mother and daughter who were there. Asked them if they think they were here for something else other than a blow dry. They respond no. The owner literally wants to be right so badly that she got another family answering, and turned back to me like, "See?" I was looking for a new salon for my family actually. So glad I got this experience. If an owner behaves this way now, would I even want to have anything to do with this salon?
