Since they weren't working on all of us at once my friends were cold after having their hair washed and then having to sit and wait. When my friends towel accidentally fell off her head onto the floor, she asked if she could have a new one and the person didn't seem to understand why she was asking for a new towel. The floor was visibly dirty with other people's strands of hair since they hadn't swept before us. That was pretty unprofessional, though she did give her a clean new towel after at first suggesting she could use the same one.

Blinds me driving out of my driveway, and in my house at night during trips to the bathroom, and while I'm in the kitchen cooking. Like having a semi's high beams shining at my house all night. Have some common decency people! The complex already looks like a cheap used car lot with lights every few feet, now your paranoid asses have to add search and rescue lights on top of it? And, you can't even spring for ones with motion sensors? They're blaring all night long! I asked 2 of the businesses in the complex to rectify. Nothing! I'm surprised they haven't blinded motorists yet. They should outlaw those things, or at minimum, require them to be pole-mounted, facing the owners building or dwelling. I stumbled upon the Kimberly K Hair Studio during a desperate internet search a few months ago. I…read morewas tired of commuting to my longtime stylist downtown, but afraid I'd never find anything comparable in the neighborhood. Since I liked the looks featured in their style gallery online, I decided to give them a shot (I mean it's just hair; it'll grow back, right?) and before I could talk myself out of it, requested an appointment for highlights and a haircut with master hair stylist and color specialist Kimberley Hood. I am so glad that I did! Kim was quick to accommodate my schedule and (recognizing that I was a little nervous) listened carefully when I told her what I wanted. She suggested a couple of minor changes to my cut, taking time to explain what she was doing and integrating the changes gradually based on my comfort level. (Yes, she was right. The changes she made were perfect.) My color, too, was great. Full highlights with a base lift that was just what I wanted. And get this: Kim trims her clients' bangs between haircuts for free! How great is that? As for the salon itself, it's very clean and very comfortable. The services they offer include electrolysis, which is performed by Barbara Harmison. I've had electrolysis before and have long wanted to have my brows done, so I quickly booked an appointment. Barbara is incredibly professional and very gracious. I've seen her half a dozen times so far and I'm thrilled with the result. She has shaped my brows beautifully (I didn't even realized I had over-plucked my left brow pretty dramatically until Barbara pointed it out to me). She takes great care to prep the area she treats, numbing the skin to minimize discomfort and following up with a cooling after-treatment and aloe vera application. (When I've had electrolysis in the past, I typically left the session with beet red skin and prolonged sensitivity. I've had none of this with Barbara.) As noted, I've been back to Kimberly K multiple times since my first visit. If you're looking for a cut, color, and/or electrolysis (they offer other stuff, too, but these are the services I've had personally) and you're particular like me, I encourage you to visit Kimberly K. I booked a makeup artist from priv to come to my office before having my headshots taken this morning. I recieved a message 30 mins before the scheduled service that the makeup artist cancelled and couldn't find anyone else to replace her. I was already at my office waiting for the person to arrive-- I had no makeup with me and a photographer arriving within the hour. My communication with priv during all of this was what really disappointed me. They basically gave me the equivalent of a shoulder shrug-- little to no acknowledgement of their impact. I understand people get sick-- and last min cancellations happen. if I had recieved a cancellation message even 2 hours in advance I think I would have felt differently... 30 mins before the appointment just feels incredibly inconsiderate. If you are booking priv for anything you care about (including a $500+ photo shoot) I would sincerely consider looking for a different company.

The experience is also so robotic because they don't ask for a review, nor do they tell you anything aside from the stylists first name. Never using again.
