In my opinion, the environment is not conducive to professional hair artistry. The owner is extremely controlling and utilizes surveillance cameras to monitor staff and client conversations, which creates a high-pressure and uncomfortable atmosphere. Throughout my time there, I observed highly erratic management behaviors and a preoccupation with nitpicking with clients over cheap furniture. Based on my observations of the high turnover rate of stylists leaving, across multiple locations this owner had, this does not seem to be a stable workplace. The atmosphere shifts noticeably to a negative atmosphere when the owner is present, making it difficult for stylists to showcase their talent and clients to feel comfortable. I cannot nor would I recommend this business for employment or professional services.

I called back and the person scheduled me for 9:30 on a Saturday. When I arrived for my appointment, the shop was booked and one of the braiders notified me that someone called off so I would need to wait for a short while. After about an hour waiting, I asked if I should just come back later. She said yes and indicated that they would call me when they were available. The called about 2 1/2 hours later, which ultimately made me really late for the evening event that I was attending. The actual look of the braids were ok, I have had much better at the shop I normally receive my services. For the standard bra strap length boho braids, I paid $300, which was $80 more than how much I pay at my normal shop. There was no dis point provided for their extremely late start or any of the inconvenience I experienced. Unlikely that I would return unless I simply can't make it to my normal shop and schedule an appointment on a weekday.
