Leaving this review on my mom's behalf, per her request: She went in to get a salt and pepper hair dye done, as she's going grey and wanted it to look better. However, she went in at 11 am and was out of the salon until 3 pm. During this time, the man working on her hair constantly left her, talked to others, and left to move his car from the street parking it was in. The total cost for this service was $157. All of the dye washed off the next day in the shower. Even before washing off, there were parts of her hair left uncovered. The hair that had been blonde (through her dyeing it) is now orange and her hair is gummy. We called to request a full or partial refund, however, were offered a chance for them to fix it. We called back to say she doesn't want them to fix it as she is already having a hard time with the way her hair looks, and just wants a refund. They refused and said they needed to see it and fix it. read more

Life savers! I walked-in with botched up bleached and dyed hair and walked out with amazing, beautiful copper red hair. Kris and Aracely both worked in my hair. They were both kind & funny. They kept checking on me to make sure my scalp wasn't burning, which it wasn't! And... this just keeps getting worse. "Christian" here decided to message me and blame me for the whole situation even going so far as to chastize me for even going to this salon at all instead of my "regular" stylist that I don't have. All of this to have someone contact me from the salon page to offer a free cut to fix it because supposedly I showed them a picture with straight hair. I did not. The picture I brought in along with my screenshots of the conversation are attached. So, also be apprised that after they are not taking proper precautions to protect against covid, they destroy the quality of your hair, they will blame you for the bad service and keep making you feel worse about it for days. Okay so after looking for a great salon that really cares about how you look, I finally found it. Chris is amazing!! He does such a great job. He is honest. If your hair is not going to look good at the end he will tell you, but also suggest to you what will look good. They have the best products to take home. My hair is so much softer and longer. Omar is a terrible stylist. Baseline, if you can't physically touch clients with care, CHOOSE ANOTHER CAREER. He flicked his heavy scissors on my forehead the entire cut and put his hands on me so aggressively; I seriously questioned what his problem was. It was fast, affordable and honestly relaxing. I showed him some pics of what I wanted and trusted him. They had a tv which kept me entertained and alsoooo the doggy. Which sat on my lap while he cut the back side of my head. He also blow dried and did my do which was perfect for Friday night! I'm definitely coming back! Parking pretty much sucks but that's not the salon's fault. I was able to find parking by the laundry mat. I was too lazy to walk up the hill lol Anywho, as I first walked in it was very awkward because his tone came off as "I'm too busy" type of thing. As I sat there and waited ~45 mins for him to finish with his clients, I noticed that's just the way he actually talks and means no harm by it. Just thought I'd put it out there so you won't have the "what the hell?" first time experience as I did. Finally! It was my turn! He made me feel completely comfortable with my decision. He also made sure to give me tips about my hair. He also makes small convo with whomever he is working, which I highly appreciated! I'll definitely come back. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had a bunch of hair on my shirt. It could have been the material, but I will never know until I go back. First of, I have natural long thick hair. I have never dyed in or done anything to it. The thickness, damage and puffiness was out of control so I headed to this location to chop it off. Chris whom had never done my hair recommended that I look into Brazilian Blowout. He recommended it, never said to do it asap but I was so desperate with my uncontrollable hair that I took a chance and told him to do it. He saw I was not sure but assured me that I would be satisfied. I was worried of the chemicals and so on but he reassured me it was to help my hair not damage it. He explained the process and after care blah blah. So I did it along with a trim and OMG I loved it. After showering I do not have to spend time doing my hair. I can just head to work. My hair looks shiny and healthy and not to mention it looks extra gorgeous when I straighten or curl it. read more

Both times, I was met with friendliness, a sense of humor. And the second time - I had had a friend try to cut my hair and went into Salon Viejo for them to fix it up.
