So bad that this is the first negative review I've ever submitted. Don't go to Sal's if you're hungry. Went there for a meatball sandwich and 40 minutes later they were just getting started. The place was empty. Even more disturbing was guy at front apologized and said he has no idea what's going on in the back. Had to leave without my food..left very hungry. read more

I've eaten in a lot of Italian restaurants across the greater Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound area. Some very expensive and fancy. I really like Sal's because it offers great value and good basic, high quality Italian food. Their lunch special is a fantastic value. I highly recommend it. Finding great things-style NY pizza is hard to find in this area. While Sal's isn't a good a a real NY pizza, it's as close as you're going to get in this area. Their garlic knots are the best I've had. Lots of olive oil and garlic. If you're looking for very good Italian food without spending an arm and a leg, this should be your "go to" Italian restaurant in an age when affordability seems to be the buzz word everyone is touting today. This place is great! They did the catering for our rehearsal dinner Friday night and it was amazing! Spaghetti, meatballs, salad, chicken parm, chicken francese all was cooked to perfection! They even cut the chickens in half so we had more portions. And those garlic rolls are to die for!! Had everything ready on time and they are always super friendly. We went back for dinner Tuesday night on our honeymoon. The larger meatballs with ricotta are fantastic. And the pizza was perfect. Highly recommend if you like Italian food. read more

Tis a wee past noon, and my wife is chanting pasta, pasta, pasta Knowing that Capital Grille is closed for lunch on weekends, I instruct OnStar to navigate to Capital Grille, and park in front of Sal's. My wife proclaims that she is famished. I suggest that she is in her "drama queen role," again. Nevertheless, my wife orders OFF menu for whole wheat penne, shrimp, calamari, and mussels in a red sauce. I like Sal's clam linguini in a red sauce. Sal's is 1/2 full with geriatrics, and the kids who are serving and cooking insist on playing hard rock. We wish Sal would mandate an adult music policy. Service and pasta are great! Now it is off to Gelato Ghetto. read more

Ok, the food has potential which is why I keep trying. But at this point, this is my third incorrect delivery or experience with delivery. I chose here tonight over a favorite location to try Sals Sicilian, comparatively. The pizza was COVERED so deep in marinara, when you picked up a slice, EVERYTHING fell off and you were left with soggy, undercooked dough slices. The spaghetti was overcooked and soggy and also smothered in so much marinara, my noodles were swimming and doing backstrokes in it. Their substitutions/requests is off on DD, so I called after placing order to add cheese to the spaghetti. They confirmed no problem. Alas, it arrived with no cheese lol. But definitely lots of marinara. Speaking of swimming, so were the garlic rolls.. in a plastic bag of garlic butter. There wasn't a dry bite bread in the whole bag. Idk if it's just better to dine in here, but I won't be doing delivery again. read more

They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside and were greeted immediately. We ordered the medium margherita pizza and italian sub. The pizza sauce and cheese was delicious! The crust was a little undercooked and doughy but still very good. The italian sub was also great! The server was super busy and our drinks went without refills. We have ordered out from different Sals in the past few years - always disappointed. Today we order the chicken parm-the sauce was raw (tasted like tomato paste) and the pasta was over cooked. Years ago when they opened their first restaurant the food was good - now its dismal. I also ordered a Stromboli - coming from a first generation Italian neighborhood I have to say, the owner/cooks should know that you do not make this by using a pizza shell (dough) and flipping it over - I dont know who finds this food acceptable. I was very sad to have to throw most of it out - its upsetting when so many have little or nothing to eat. If you really want wonderful Italian authentic food go to Cafe martaranos in ft Lauderdale - thats the only place we have found in South Florida to be excellent - every time. read more

We are regulars here... the pizza is GOOD! I've just been ordering Sal's since I was a kid.. but what Sal's does BEST, and BETTER than ANY OTHER PLACE IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, is garlic knots. The fresh garlic is amazing, and the knots themselves... the dough... idk what it is but unlike every other garlic knots I've tried, (AND IVE TRIED THEM ALL IN PALM BEACH) they don't even get soggy from the oil. I always request extra garlic sauce on them, and I empty the bag of leftover garlic onto my pizza. I can't eat a Sal's pizza any other way. GARLIC KNOTS ARE THE BEST!!! read more

We went here on a recommendation, since we're in the Jupiter area. This is inside of a shopping center in Abacoa, not in downtown Abacoa. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very polite and efficient. We ordered a cheese pizza with half sausage, a buffalo chicken pizza, garlic knots and a side of Meatballs. The pizza was cooked perfectly, nice crisp crust and just the right amount of cheese. One guest at our table had the meatballs and stated that they were very good. However, two meatballs cost $9. That's some pricey meatballs! You have to be cautious when ordering specialty pizzas because when I asked the waitress if they made a buffalo chicken pizza, she stated yes. Then I see the cost of it on my bill and it was almost $26! It was rung up as a "meat lovers pizza" because she stated they don't actually have that particular pizza on the menu. The last time I checked, a meat lovers contains multiple meats, mine contained one. And the disappointing part about it, it wasn't even spicy like buffalo chicken should be. It did however, contain a lot of chicken. Just not $26 dollars worth! I would definitely check at this place, but stay away from the buffalo chicken pizza at that price! read more

Always the best. We ordered pizza tonight and it was fantastic, hot and perfectly cooked.

The food is normally great at this location. However, management and customer service is horrible. If I could give them a zero I would. We order from this location 2 to 3 times a week and over the last few visits they have not made the order correctly. Instead of just handling the situation they choose to fight about it and not take care of their customer. Unfortunately they have lost our business. read more
