    Gamberetti con Polenta Fritta~

My friend and I visited last week for Happy Hour. We enjoyed sitting outside at one of the high top tables. The Happy Hour menu offers a wide variety of food items as well as a decent selection of libations. My friend enjoyed a couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio and I sipped on a glass of Rosė. All or most of the small plates and drinks were $10 and the portions are decent. We shared a handful of appetizers with the exception of the shrimp with fried polenta. This one is too good to share so we each ordered one. Our server was good we enjoyed our food as well as the ambiance. It is an older crowd and depending on what time you arrive, self-parking and valet are options. Happy Hour is 3-6PM. The dinner menu is incredible as well and they have a very nice dining room.

I had heard that this restaurant has really good food, but it's generally out of my price range. Today was a gorgeous day, however, and I was on PGA west for an appt., and I just went for it. I'm so pleased that I did. I sat outside and was thrilled to see a prix fixe lunch offering for $27. You have several options in each of the three courses. I chose the soup of the day, zucchini and potato puree. It was quite good. Who doesn't love a basket with Italian bread served with a dish of olive oil and capers? The capers were a great addition, although I immediately asked for salt. Both the oil dip and the soup screamed for more salt, but maybe I'm just a salt fiend. Then came my order of Cavetelli Fantasia Vegetarian, with zucchini, red peppers, mushrooms and onions tossed with olive oil, and sundried tomato pesto, and breadcrumbs (although I don't remember seeing any garlicky breadcrumbs). I adore cavetelli pasta. It's fantastic! This was a very good dish. I wanted to box the uneaten portion, and it was really a treat to find a restaurant that doesn't have you do it yourself at the table. It was taken back to the kitchen for a box, like restaurants used to do. Finally came my vanilla ricotta cheesecake, and I needn't say more than YUM. My server was helpful and nice, although she didn't say the prices for the handful of specials, and I've read from food critics that servers should always do so. No matter if you're rich or treating yourself, you'd like to know if the steak special (just an example) is $36 or $76, right? And if the server doesn't tell you, it can be awkward or make you feel like a cheapskate to have to ask. Anyway, that's nitpicking. I plan to go back for another prix fixe lunch soon. Or maybe their panino pollo Milanese instead. Oh my gosh! I just saw now online that they have daily happy hour with a bunch of delicious items for $10. Now that is right up my alley!!!

I've been there before and I was set for linguine with clams. Ordered their carpaccio and it was simple and clean. Then ordered their linguine with clams. The pasta was hard, however, because I was stealing, I ate it .. I will definitely give it another try.

Came here for dinner a couple weeks ago. We were able to get a last minute reservation on a Saturday evening. Reservations are recommended during the high season! It's a pretty big restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was very crowded, but we were able to hear each other surprisingly well! The food was good. We got the meatballs and the tortellini. The tortellini were amazing. They have a good cocktail and wine menu.

One of my favorite restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens! Love coming here for lunch for their artichoke salad, a special pasta and famous cheesecake. While everything we have tried is exceptional, we never stray from the Insalata di Carciofi and the Ricotta Cheesecake. Both are incredible and definitely worth trying (and reordering)!

We were seated in what felt like an alleyway in the back. We have eaten at their sister restaurant Barcello and enjoyed our experiences very much. We made reservations around 5pm on a Sunday and everything was on point. We will put Lemoncello into our regular restaurant rotation.

The take-away: This may be an Italian restaurant but is it really Italian-owed? The whole…read moreexperience felt overpriced and the restaurant was cost-cutting over quality. I explain below: Firstly, the positive: *the ambiance was very nice. *the bread is very very good. Beautiful crisp outside and fluffy inside. *you can tell the chefs are highly trained Constructive criticism: *The portion sizes are small for what you are paying. *They need to train their waiters better. Invest in them. I asked questions you would expect, such as "what is popular here?" and "what are you known for?" The waitress didn't know. She also forgot to put in our to-go order. I got the special the Branzino. Beautifully presented, delicious. Overpriced for portion and the fried potatoes, broccoli I could make at home. Why am I paying that much for that? I don't want to spend that much on pasta that is easy to make: just boiled in water with a quick prepped sauce-- for this price, I expect the pasta is home-made or sourced from high quality Italian manufacturer. Only the tagliatelle is house made. I want my waitress to be able to tell me: Where the pasta came from -- Italy?, is it slow-dried? Where did the olive oil come from? When were the olives picked in the season? For their prices, I expect this detail! That's the tier they are in. The burrata, my appetizer had arugula that some tasted like dirt. I don't know why-- was it washed well? How can they prevent this? The waitress told me all the desserts are made in house. Maybe they are? But I was disappointed. The tiramisu didn't really taste like a traditional tiramisu. Was it whipped cream? Was it very lightly whipped buttercream? I didn't taste much coffee flavor. Was there mascarpone? It looked like it had mostly the easy to make, cheap whipped cream top. All in all, I am not sure if I will come back. Maybe a couple times to try something different. Just to see if my complaints are consistent. Italian restaurants especially pricy ones-- you expect passion, sourced ingredients, informed waiters. Those weren't there.

The food has always been very good, service last night was very good as well and with the location being near the marina we had a pleasant evening! My wife & I started at the bar area as we waited for our family to join us for dinner! The Peroni was served in a chilled glass and my wife had an Ole' Fashion with Bulleit Rye. Both beverages were a nice way to start the evening. The bartender was very nice & attentive. For our meal we started with the grilled calamari which is also served with grilled broccoli. Excellent appetizer! The main course, I had the linguini in clam sauce (very good) & my wife had the Sambuca which she said was excellent! With the linguini I had a couple of shell fragments but with any shellfish need to be on notice. We had great weather and with the awnings for protection from any inclement weather as well as a wonderful breeze and the marina in view, it was a great evening! Again, not sure why this is rated 3.1 stars as that rating is not reflective of this establishment. All tables were full and what I viewed people were having a fun evening! However no special consideration when they have the 30 per cent off night like today which is ok and not expected. However to almost criminally over book and make people wait over an hour is tough. Especially for me when i just had a knee replaced. There is absolutely no where to sit and wait. maybe should get a visit from the Feds. The confusion at the greeters desk was about the worst i have ever experienced. Finally when they said we had a seat as requested outside, we were taken outside to find there was no seat! Excuse was "we thought they were leaving table" Then left us alone to start all over. Given your horrendous parking fight and this experience, my recommendation is go to Cod and Capers or the Italian market for your equal or better fish and meat options is to pass this hassle up. By the way got sick after eating here this and last time. Clams first, then today by from the grilled calamari with a gross amount of salt poured over the burnt broccoli.

We made a 8pm reservation and arrived a few minutes early, so we grabbed some wine and headed outside. For some reason, the bartender wasn't friendly at all towards our group, but I'm letting that slide. Anyway, when we sat down, they immediately brought us a bread basket that included their homemade focaccia bread and butter, which was wonderful. For appetizers, we split their meatballs and their zucchini fritters. The fritters were incredible. The dishes looked huge, so we split two dishes between the four of us. The chicken francese had a ton of flavor, it did taste like an old school NY/NJ spot. It was 100% on point. Also, there isn't much of a bar, (we weren't sure before we arrived). Had a great experience though!
