Food has been on point lately. New manager and staff has made a difference. Can not complain about the Ooltewah store.

The food and service was great! The staff is very friendly and was able to answer all my questions. Will definitely return.

I will typically say that I am not a Salsarita's fan anywhere since I have had it at several different locations. Friends wanted to go there so I just went with the crowd. I was pleasantly surprised that this location of the chain was actually decent. The protein and portions were good, guacamole was good, and the chips almost really good (lacking something but decent). There was a long line crowd too. This location is probably the better ones out of the 5 Salsarita places that I have been to. read more

Used to frequent here until their burritos became very small & prices are pure insanity for what you are getting. Their competitor down the street, serves a massive burrito. The manager also never smiles and looks like he hates his job. This location used to be good. Such a shame. read more

We grabbed Salsarita's for take out after a busy day of being out and about. We ordered online which was easy and the order was ready for pickup in only 15 mins. This location wasn't busy (we came in during non-peak hours) and our food was already prepped and ready to go. We didn't spend much time in the restaurant, just in and out to pick up the food, but it was nice and clean. We also noticed they had some outdoor seating which would have been nice had we been eating there. We unpacked the food at home and everything was great. The order was 100% correct, our quesoritos were made with fresh ingredients and the food was still hot. The portions are also huge, including the dish of queso. I must admit that even I am surprised that it is only recently that I've been to Salsarita's. I have seen Salsarita's around in different cities but I've never stopped by to try their food, until about a week ago. I was finally presented the opportunity to eat here and I have to say that I did not expect much, but these guys blew me out of the water. I got a vegetarian Bowl with beans and rice (of course), grilled onions and peppers, and like three different Salsas along with all of the other toppings they offered. I love the variety of toppings and Salsas and I also loved how they didn't charge me extra depending on what salsas I chose to put on my dish or if I got guacamole or not. Most places will charge an arm and a leg for a little thing of guacamole, but this place did not so long as it is on your dish. The price wasn't bad, and the portion was huge. I could only get through half of the bowl and had to take the rest home for dinner -- something I love to do when I go out to eat. This way I don't have to make dinner for myself that night. ;] My favorite part about my trip to Salsarita's was the actual flavor of the food. I love places like Moe's and Taco Bell and Chipotle... Etc. But their flavors are very repetitive. Salsarita's offered flavors that I had not had anywhere else... this is definitely somewhere I would love to eat again and again. read more

It seems like all of the "Fresh Mex" eateries are making their way to Exit 11 off of Interstate 75 in southeastern Tennessee. Salsarita's is one of the latest to make their bid for all of those healthy eaters in the region. Salsarita's is clean and fresh with good tacos, burritos, salads, chips and soft drinks for all. I particularly like the mango salsa on my veggie burrito bowl. It is AMAZING! The large windows let in all of the sunshine. I also like the variety of table options. There is one just for you and your posse. The tall table is for me. Salsarita's is the closest of the "Fresh Mex" cafes to Interstate 75. You will see it just on the right of the north bound exit. I've been here a couple of times now, and it is good to know that you can expect that the food and service are going to be good. They have a streamlined selection of plates, and you can choose what to add to them. I love to sit outside in the patio because you can either choose a sunny or a shady spot. read more

Never had come to this chain. Basically the same as Qdoba or Chipotle. Which any of those can be hit or miss. This was better than I expected, they have tofu if you're vegetarian instead of meats. We were eager to try the newest restaurant in Ooltewah. Went on Thursday and the line was out the door, so we left. Came back Friday night, when we had more time. Wait time in line was 30 minutes. The food was fresh, and pretty good...not mind blowing great, but pretty good. We will be back. read more

I was greeted with friendly faces and the food was great. It's better than the Chipotle I work at and I wish it was closer.

We went in on Friday night around 8:30. The employees were all very helpful and friendly! You know when you go into a restaurant on a Friday night and you can tell the teens working don't want to be there? None of that here!! We were made to feel very welcome! The restaurant was very clean, spacious, and the tables and chairs are comfortable. I ordered the burrito w/ chicken and had all kinds of fixins' put inside. I had their queso and hot salsa which were both yummy. There are many more options here than at Dos Bros. My husband had tacos with chips and a drink and really liked it too. We enjoyed this place and will definitely be returning! You get more for your money here than you do at Dos Bros. read more

I've enjoyed my visits here. The service has been fast and good. I've really enjoyed some of my interactions with the servers. They have some great personalities behind the glass. The only thing is that it can get loud in there but they serve a lot of people and do it quickly. Overall good food and good service. read more

My wife and I have had favorable experiences with the Hamilton Place Salsarita's but this Ooltewah location has a serious management issue. We went in after a mountain bike ride and the place was a complete mess. There was trash and food on the floor, the trash cans were full and the tables were dirty. I commented to the guy making my burrito and he mumbled, "It gets this way after the lunch rush." I found it funny that the place was almost empty so the rush was over but no one was cleaning the dining area. On top of that, the chips were so greasy they were inedible. I look back on my days working fast food in high school and every 20-minutes the manager would yell at one of us to "hit the dining room!" We would run out and wipe tables, restock condiments, empty trash and spot sweep the floors. Evidently this chain or this manager does not care. There are too many other restaurants are that area for me to go back. Sadly, I'm scratching this one off of my list. read more

Went in today for a quesadilla and it was awful. Tortilla was ripped and they got my chip order wrong. I ordered chips and queso and ended up getting chips and guacamole which I didn't ask for. Dude at the register gave me an attitude when I asked how long until the quesadilla is ready and the condiment stand looked awful, would not go here again read more

I ordered a chicken burrito which was very good, husband ordered a beef burrito and said the meat was bland, daughter ordered kids chicken quesadilla which she loved despite not liking "mexican". We went during a rush, about 6:45 on a friday, so there were some chips here and there on the floor but otherwise the restaurant was clean and well stocked. Our only complaint was the fact that it is extremely loud. It was nearly impossible to hear each other and not relaxing at all. They do offer outside patio seating so we will utilize that area on our next visit. read more

We used the Ooltewah, TN location to order catering for our daughter's wedding. We ended up with a headcount of 225. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL. The servers were on time, prepared, professional, and seemed to have a personal stake in the outcome of our event. Our wedding was in a barn on a day in May with record high temps for the area. We had hot and hungry guests and got nothing but rave reviews from everyone we talked to. There was not a single complaint. My wife and I love this place. It's a quick chipolte/qudoba style restraunt. Gets busy around lunch time but is still manageable.

To start positive, the food was fine. Like any other salsarita's. The problem was the staff! This is BRAND NEW in Ooltewah. No one understood me. I had to repeat myself multiple times for queso while the young man stared at me as if I were speaking Mandarin Chinese. I watched the managers stand around and do nothing. Watched some new meat and rice added to old meat and rice. If you don't use FIFO (first in, first out) your product will not be fresh. Also, it's the first thing you learn during your servesafe class! I was very disappointed in a place that had only been open a few weeks. read more
