He didn't do much to help these symptoms improve and I really have the impression he doesn't get women's bodies / issues. I repeatedly felt that I had no effective response/treatment for my issues! Then, when he failed to find out why I once had such high triglycerides level during my annual, I decided to look for another doctor. Enough. He had the guts to say: "I don't understand why this is happening". REALLY? What, am I the one supposed to understand/find out? And to complete the joke, he didn't do anything about it! Argh! I am so thankful I moved to a female (and more competent doctor) at MHMG. She never fails to try and solve my issues, she listens to me and contrary to Dr. Glasser, SHE CARES, and is always very thorough. Yes, what she found out later about my labs made sense, AND SHE KNEW HOW TO PROCEED and the adequate recommended treatment. I am sorry, but I have no respect whatsoever for this doctor and I almost feel inclined to file a complaint against him. Stay away!

I went with her to one of her appointments to understand why she didn't like him. I saw firsthand his complete lack of bedside manner. He was unprofessional, talked over her, didn't listen to her complaints about ongoing pain and discomfort, and dismissed her concerns altogether. My mom had her last appointment with him today, and she found it completely HORRIBLE. She is still experiencing pain in her entire arm from a fall that occurred at the end of January while at work. All this doctor did was prescribe physical therapy and provide a subpar letter stating "light duty," even though there isn't such work available at her job. Dr. Shamash refused to conduct any follow-up X-rays or MRIs to investigate potential injuries to her shoulder beyond the fracture in her elbow. My mom is in her 60s; she is not in her 20s or 40s, where healing might occur within a few weeks. Something is wrong if her hand continues to swell, and her arm remains painful even after three months! She described him as rude, stating that he told her there was nothing more he could do for her and suggested she find another job. IS HE SERIOUS? She even mentioned that he sarcastically asked her if he should prescribe therapy five days a week. How this doctor has high ratings is beyond me. It must be from his colleagues and friends.

I had reservations about visiting a chiropractor since I had a bad experience with one many years ago. However, after not getting any relief from doctors other than pain meds I decided it was time to give something else a try. Well, it was the best decision I've made in a while. Dr. Poller is an efficient and effective physician who takes the time to explain what your problems are and how he will attempt to address them. He took the time to go over my X-rays with me and explained everything. After about 10 days of treatment, I finally feel some relief from the constant pain I've been dealing with.
