This company is a joke, our driver was 45 minutes late, and then when he finally got there, he just slowly shuffled around trying to check people in. He slowly got the luggage out, told him three times we had a flight to catch in Vegas , then we found out he had four more stops. !!! Salt Lake Express Shuttle was contracted by Greyhound to pick several of us up from Las Vegas at 12:30 AM and transport us to St. George, Utah, in order to transfer to a Greyhound bus. Several of us were waiting there for the shuttle for over an hour and it never showed up. They simply failed to do their job and pick us up, leaving all of us stranded at the South Las Vegas Transportation Terminal until 3:30 AM in the middle of the night. Greyhound finally sent their own bus to pick us up. This was a huge fail and I've recommended to Greyhound that they no longer use Salt Lake Express Shuttle at all for any of their passengers. I also advised them of the failed pickup, so this shuttle company will not be paid for this trip. I called the shuttle phone number repeatedly, but there was no answer, and not even an answering service. Very inconsiderate, inappropriate, dangerous and unprofessional. read more

Samuel, who had just arrived, driving our route, volunteered for two more trips after midnight and a long day! I am not a sweaty person but I am sweaty betty today. Trying not to focus how uncomfortable this ride is. Gasp! Driver was on time. Super nice guy. Not his fault. Offered water. But this 2 hour ride can't be over soon enough because there is no AC! The shuttle wreaks of cigarettes. Trying to transport myself to a cold movie theater, a fan, or maybe even maybe a fan blowing AC on me tonight. I was picked up in Vegas headed to St.George. Unbelievably poor service. NEVER USE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE! The driver, who I'd personly talked to (FACE-TO-FACE) at the LAS airport, just left me there, knowing I was supposed to be on his shuttle, for pick-up. Here is what happened: Once I picked up my luggage, I was not clear on the exact pickup location, so 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, I called the main number for help. I described the location where I was waiting and told him I was standing at the "Shuttle" signs. The guy on the phone was only able to read me back the same instructions I'd already reviewed (on my shuttle reservation) and said it sounded like I was in the right place. I told him, "well, I'm HERE," with the expectation that he would communicate that to the driver. (Wrong.) I also asked him if the driver would call me if I wasn't at the exact right spot, and he said yes. (Wrong.) After waiting on the curb for 20 minutes, I saw the Salt Lake Express van pull up, and walked over to it. The driver was outside of the van, letting someone off. I stood face to face with him and told him I was there for pickup. He said I was on the wrong level and I needed to meet him at level 0 for pickup. I said, "well... OK," and asked if his van was the one picking me up. He said YES. Why he didn't just let me on then, I have no idea. I told him I didn't know how to get to level 0, but I'd ask inside. It took - at the most - 5 minutes for me to get down to level 0 after that. Then I waited 5 min, 10 min. No van. I called the main number again. Same guy answered and he said I missed the pickup and the driver was on his way to St. George. UNBELIEVABLE. So many things are wrong about this... 1) Why doesn't Salt Lake Express have better directions for people coming into airports, that they often have never been in? I'm willing to bet that the biggest issue with shuttles is missing pickups due to people not knowing the right spot to be in (especially at airports). Hey Salt Lake Express, here are some better directions for LAS, that you're welcome to use, in exchange for a full refund of my shuttle cost: Go to terminal 1 baggage area and find the escalators in the center. Take the escalator, by baggage carousel 7, down. Go outside and stand by signs that say "Courtesy Shuttle Vehicles." YOU'RE WELCOME! Anyway, that's the most forgivable thing that went wrong with my Salt Lake Express experience. Every other thing that went wrong with is inexcusable: 2) Why didn't the driver just let me on the van when I was standing three steps from it? 3) Why didn't the driver call me when I wasn't at level 0 yet, when HE KNEW I was on my way there? 4) Why didn't command control guy call the driver and tell him I was there EARLY but not sure of the pickup spot, and ask the driver to call me? I've had 3 hours to write this review, sitting here waiting for the next shuttle to pick me up. I literally had the worst travel experience of my life with Salt Lake Express. I arrived at 9:10 pm for my 9:15 pm scheduled shuttle. I was informed by the driver that the shuttle was "overbooked" and I could "probably" get on the next shuttle at 11 pm. He did not apologize, or offer to call the shuttle office and have me added to the 11 pm shuttle itinerary. He seemed quite unaffected by it all. I attempted to call the shuttle office 4 times before someone in customer service finally answered. After explaining my situation and giving my ticket number, I was told "I can give you a refund or I can put you on the next bus" and "We weren't oversold but maybe he brought a smaller vehicle" ???? And then "it's just like the airlines, sometimes they oversell" (after she just said they didn't oversell) so I told her when I get bumped from a flight at least I get $100 for my trouble. She never apologized for the inconvenience or accepted any responsibility on behalf of Salt Lake Express for my issue. When the 11:55 pm bus finally arrived, the driver was slow and disorganized. No rhyme or reason for unloading and loading luggage, checking people in, etc. He drove on the rumble strips multiple times, and accelerated and braked in a very jerky manner. According to the schedule we should have arrived at Hampton Inn Sun River at 3 am - I arrived at 4:15 am. Almost 4 hours later than my initial scheduled arrival at 12:25 am. Thank goodness I had my own car waiting for me - if I had a loved one picking me up then another person would also have been extremely inconvenienced. I was unable to work today due to extreme fatigue. This has definitely been the worst experience I have ever had with a shuttle company and I am appalled that not one employee involved took ownership of the problem, apologized, or displayed any empathy whatsoever. read more

Terrible experience with this company. I came 15 minutes early like recommended on the website. I waited an extra 15 minutes for the shuttle when it didn't appear on time. I called customer service immediately afterward to verify if the bus was delayed and for how long? Customer service automated message said I was customer number 10 and I waited about 35 minutes for it to finally say I was customer number 1. I wait another 5 minutes and then it said I was customer number 8. It takes another 28 minutes for me to get to be customer number 1 on the line again. Then I find out I have to wait an extra 3 hours till my bus comes to the stop. read more

Worst experience EVER! I've been a loyal customer for almost 5 years and took my 1st ride since Covid started to the Vegas airport. Although I got a 'prepare for your ride' the day before from corporate, the driver did not offer masks (even though the email says they will and all must wear them). He said "my glasses fog up." On my way back to SG yesterday, the driver was not wearing a mask, didn't offer them to the packed van, and 12 out of about 15 were NOT wearing them. When I brought it up to the driver he said, "I guess I should have grabbed a box from the office." He also told me he had not been vaccinated and found no reason to be, and has had Covid in the past. People were coughing, sneezing, etc. I felt unsafe and told the driver. So, when you get the 'prepare for the ride' email about how they take customers safety seriously, do NOT believe it. read more

We booked her travel to Las Vegas, then we had to bring her home early due to a roommate having Covid. I'm now out over $60 because they refuse to offer refunds even with the uncertainty of Covid. I should honestly give the company no more than 2 stars, but I'll keep the third one there just because of the awesome drivers -- though the shuttles are utter crap. My family and I started off with a driver named Carol who was sweet as can be and also kind of a mini tour guide. The major issue was the fact that the shuttle was on its last leg and at some points would only go around 40 and below on a 75 mph highway. I'm sure you all can imagine how scary it is when you have huge trucks whipping past you almost every second. I kind of felt like we were slowly moving ducks, and I really felt sorry for the ladies who had connecting transportation because we ended up being over an hour behind schedule. Then on the way back, the driver of that shuttle (different person and shuttle -- still great service, though) had to pull over on the highway because his shuttle conked out on him too because he was "going too fast and the turbo couldn't handle it". Would I recommend them? Yes, within reason. The prices were amazing (and maybe all the trouble and the fact that they advertise free wifi when there actually is none is reflective of the low prices). I am currently on one of your transports. This driver, I assume, is drunk. We cannot stay at a constant speed, or in one lane. He keeps making phone calls which is illegal to do while driving, with or without a hands free device in Nevada. And I assure you He has no hands free device. He is paying no attention to the road and keeps digging in a bag on the floor.  He even missed a stop on his regular route and didn't realize it for several miles.  I am sweaty and my heart is racing. I am scared and I want off your transport. I want to let you know I will be calling the police. This driver is putting everyone's life on this shuttle at risk with his behaviors. This is highly uncalled for, and I can assure you that you just lost a customer for life. This is the worst experience I have ever had in my life ANYWHERE. Worst customer service I've ever experience. After an extremely long delay with NO communication, our driver endangered passenger lives by performing illegal median crossing activity and got us to the airport over 2 hours late. We missed our flight and COULD have made it if the driver had followed the original route - instead he stopped to pick up passengers before unloading them (why?) and when we complained he mocked us in front of the entire bus and said "go write a complaint online." Uhh, what? We emailed the company to try and get our travel change fees covered (since it was entirely their fault) and they refunded us an arbitrary amount after we sent them with emails for weeks. It took seven emails to get a reply and to this day I've never received an apology or an explanation for the arbitrary money amount. Do not book this company. Ever. read more

Despite all of their emails about the federal mandate making masks mandatory their drivers not only did not wear masks themselves but they also did not even mention masks to their passengers either time I used their service. The sign about masks was on the window also but was totally ignored. I even asked the driver about wearing her mask but she refused to wear it. Nor did the trainee driver she was teaching. I just took the Salt Lake Express Shuttle from Las Vegas to St. George and back. I had absolutely no issues with the company or their service. I left both cities on time according to my itinerary. I typically alternate from either the Salt Lake Express or the St George shuttle. After yesterday I wish I would have stuck to the St George shuttle. The driver was erratic and all over the road going far faster than the speed limit. It was almost like she wanted to set the record for quickest trip. Nearly rear ended someone and then spent them next twenty minutes approaching the airport complaining about VEGAS traffic and now its every drivers fault on the road rather than apologizing for the mishap. I've used this company for a roundtrip from Las Vegas to St George. Overall, I was satisfied. The bus was more comfortable than others I have used. It was also a pretty good price. WARNING: They don't contact you when the shuttle is late. They don't even know it's late unless you call customer service. Our shuttle was an hour and 15 minutes late, and we arrived 15 minutes early as they requested, so we waited in the parking lot for an hour and a half (our destination was 2.5 hours away), in the winter, with no bathroom nearby. The weather was perfect, so that wasn't the issue. Why don't they use GPS to track the drivers, and why can't they notify you (like any other travel business) when there's a delay?? Took the shuttle back to Vegas this morning. We were told by another shuttle driver who was dropping off that the bus would be late because it was getting its tires balanced. It was only a few minutes late and so nothing to scoff at. This is the only reason for a single star. I appreciated being informed. The drive to Vegas was rough - vehicle was shaking and noisy. Something rattling loudly in the back of the bus. It felt like off-roading- shocks seem to be in poor repair. I felt every bump in the road. Driver was constantly running over the divots along side the highway and then trying to correct which made the front end swing back and forth making everyone's heads go side to side. The driver informed us that the steering was having issues and that the vehicle shouldn't be on the road. Thanks! I feel really safe!!! This bus is in need of either retirement or a serious service. One final thing, there was something hanging from the ceiling which used to be secured with duct tape. I can't be sure but it might have been a wifi access point. Vehicle is rickety and made me wish I had updated my will before I rode. This was a scary trip and I will opt for another carrier next time. read more

I used the Salt Lake Express Shuttle round trip from St. George to the Las Vegas Vegas airport. The shuttle left and arrived on time for both of my trips. On the way back to St. George one of the passengers had to use the bathroom. The driver was very accommodating in pulling over at the next exit for her. The shuttle was clean and all of the charging ports worked. On the way back to St. George there were a total of 10 passengers and everyone had enough space. The driver offered water to all of the passengers before we left Las Vegas. The only thing that I think people need to know is that because the shuttles are so big, if it's windy (when is it not windy when your driving to Vegas?) the van does tend to move and sway a bit. If you've ever driven a large van, or RV you will know this is typical. If you get car sick make sure you take Dramamine prior to taking the shuttle as a precaution. read more

BEWARE. This company doesn't require their driver's or passengers to wear face masks. Along with their lack of concern for their passengers safety they ran almost an hour late both legs of the trip for no apparent reason. When customer service was called they said they are based in Idaho so they don't need to follow any of the face mask rules in Utah. If you care about your safety I would use the St. George Shuttle. Salt Lake Express wins again! Twice I've needed to move around my ticket because of flight issues, and twice I've received the help and flexibility I needed. The customer service hotline actually works...like people (real people) actually pick up and help you instead of automated voice messages. Thank God! Terrifying experience. Mr Toads wild ride. The driver ran out of gas and was an hour and a half late for our departure. Then upon his arrival he was angry and upset and needed to talk a walk to calm himself . After finally loading our luggage we departed and apparently trying to make up time he drove 85 mph through Las Vegas riding on people's bumper to get them to move aside so he could go faster. The van was weaving back and forth and my husband and I were in fear for our lives. The dash indicator also said low tire pressure and the air conditioning did not work and a with a full load of people in the back begging for air. My husband asked him to please slow down and he finally slowed to 75 mph after quite some time. This driver should lost his job. Shuttle drivers should consider their passengers and the safety of transporting them to their destination. read more

Terrible service. I booked on line for trip from Mesquite, NV to "door to door home" in St. George. Paid $53.00 one way. Driver Tyler was horrible driver; almost hit two trucks in The Gorge. He allowed an extremely drunk passenger to get on the shuttle. As soon as we arrived in St. George, the guy jumped out, pulled down his dirty jeans zipper and peed on the sidewalk. When I asked Tyler if he was taking me home, he said "no" - "a taxi will come for you". What??? How is that 'door to door'? St. George Shuttle takes door to door. So anyway I waited for 25 minutes for the taxi. By the time he arrived, I got my relative to pick me up. The taxi guy argued with me. The office was closed and when I asked why, they told me "too many sick people". Might I also mention that the shuttle bus was filthy. This is the first and last time I will use this horrible service. I asked for a refund but they told me that it would have to be approved by Manager. No worries - I will call the cc company. USE ST. What a way to run a business. We booked a return from Cedar City to Las Vegas (May 26) on the SLE. We arrived at the appointed pick-up location in Cedar City 30 minutes ahead of our 11am departure. At 11:05 am we made the first of four calls to SLE to see what the status of the shuttle was. The person on the phone at 11:05 indicated they were unable to raise the driver via phone. Between 11:05 and 11:45 we made 3 more calls, with the 2nd and 3rd ending like the first...the operator could not raise the driver. Finally at 11:45am we attempted our last call only to be put on hold indefinitely. About 10 minutes later the shuttle arrived and by the time we left we were only an hour late. We arrived approximately one hour late BUT close to our departure time for Vegas. Unfortunately, we were then told our bus was being filled with gas and would not be back for 30 minutes. I do not know about you, but it shouldn't take 30 minutes to fuel a small shuttle bus. The long of it, by the time we departed the St George SLE office, drove around St George picking up stragglers, we were only 90 minutes late leaving. While our flight was not until the next day, approximately 10 people were frantic because we arrived at the airport after their planes had started boarding. Moral of the story, do not trust this business. They do not deserve it. read more

The worst experience ever. Scheduled a ride for my 80 year old mom to get back home to St. George. Arrived 10 minutes early to pickup location but shuttle was an hour plus late. No call to let us know or anything. I had to reschuled work because I didn't want to leave her on the curb by herself in the cold. Bus was packed with people (14 people in a small van so they were practically sitting on laps) and my mom sat next to a gentleman with Tourettes that was coughing the entire time. During the ride the gentleman started screaming profanities at my mom telling her "I can kill you you dumb bi$&@" and screaming and staring at her for most of a 4 hour ride. Other passengers tried to help but all the bus driver did was giggle and say lets calm down back there. Driver got lost several times and just continued thinking this was funny. Never did anyone apologize for being late, try to stop the gentleman threatening my mom, or try to explain why the bus was so packed even though COVID protocol was supposed to be followed. Never thought I would have to fear for my Moms life. We'll keep our fingers crossed she doesn't have COVID. Please think twice before letting a loved one ride. read more

I'm not usually prone to car sickness, but this van was so swervy on the road that I got sick several times. Air-conditioning would freeze up (even at 5:30 am) and the driver would have to turn it off and it got very stuffy inside. Windshield was cracked in several places, and at least one of the wheels was seriously out of balance, causing a constant shimmy in the ride. Driver drifted out of his lane twice in a one mile stretch. Driver was over controlling the vehicle which made the ride uncomfortable. Speed approached 80 in a 65 construction zone in N Las Vegas.
