While I'm in town I've used this company before. I really like the owner Shaun. Never had any issues until today 10/03/2023. I called at 3:10pm to set up a ride before my meeting at 4pm. I was told it would be 20mins and driver would be here, I waited and called at 3:45pm still no one, the guy told me 10more mins, I said okay still waited, 4:05pm called again he said the driver was on the way give about 10more mins so I called and advised my party I'd be a there before 4:25pm. It's now 4:33pm and still waiting. I have now canceled my attendance to this very important meeting. I am beyond pissed, just Uber guys it's faster and cheaper! If u only have cash it's worth putting it on a debit card and ubering! read more

Good experience and pleasant driver. Only reason for 1 star reduction was no one picked up the phone after hours when I was trying to "confirm" my pick up. Other than that, they did arrive on time and I recommend their services based on my recent experience. Thank you. read more

They always change their prices went to $15-$35 it is no good would not recommend is a bad service

"I'll be there in about 30 minutes" (45 minutes later...I call). "I'm on my way, I had to drop off another guy, I'll be there in about 10 minutes" (45 minutes later I call... Again!) "I'm about 5 minutes away, I'll text you as soon as I'm out front"...(15 minutes later I call AGAIN!) It was like this ALL day long. I hate when people BS me. Used service last night. Nice lady driver, on time. Today dinner came and complained after I told him I was not exactly where he was thinking I was. When I got to St George Utah there's no question this is how I get around. Lift and Uber are almost unusable in this town. These guys are polite and most importantly reliable. I sleep well knowing I contacted them before I go to sleep even for my God awful early flights in the morning. The car is always out front and the driver is always got a big smile and if you ask nicely they'll even stop for a quick cup of coffee for you on the way to the airport. I guess they have as little as one person driving at times so there can be a wait. But the guy was communicative and helpful about it, said it would be about 45 minutes and sure enough they showed up in 40. Fine with me as I wasn't in a hurry anyway. Pricing was reasonable and they have Square readers to take credit cards. Hit all the points I need for a taxi service, will call again. read more

Prompt, driver was friendly and made it to the airport early! Evidently the company is a side job and when a driver is needed they are requested 30 minutes within arrival time. Highly recommend to request a day in advance and ask for confirmation. read more

They are very friendly but they are totally incompetent and WAY TOO expensive. Hail an Uber instead ... do NOT use this clown. They're notorious for arriving way too late and causing people to miss meetings and flights. Their charges are determined by their "seat of the pants" technology. horrible service ride taxi drivers . called a cab dispatch told me it would be 15 minutes and they showed up an hour and half later . the cab itself was dirty and smelled like urine inside i highly recommend using any other available taxi service in town . ohh yeah and the driver got nasty with me and basically demanded a tip read more

We have been using Taxi USA for years without problems, but as of late they take over an hour to pick you up. And when we call to see what is taking so long they just keep saying they are right there, and it will only be a few minutes more. Come on now, after waiting an hour and a half to hear them say 20 min more. After we already waited an hour and a half ... Well you can bet I/we were hopping mad ! Even more so because they told us it was only going to be a 20 min wait in the first place! Add to this the fact that twice now a driver did not have any way to run a credit card and had no change , just took my 20$ and said oh well... Now we all know they have card readers and that they have change for a 20$ that drive just chose to rip me off twice it will not happen again as we will now us the other cab co in this city. read more

This company is a rip-off! The charge was nearly twice as much as I have ever paid and the driver was 30 minutes late. I paid $47 for an 11 mile ride, for 2 people and loaded my own bags. The driver was way less than professional and I have already removed them from my saved contacts. read more

The driver took me the wrong location. Once we arrived to the wrong location, I told him that we were at the wrong place, which he insisted that we weren't. After I pointed out the incorrect door number, he eventually tried to find the right location and had trouble finding it. Instead of completing the trip and taking me to the location I paid to go to, he told me that I was a "walkable distance" away from the I place I was supposed to be and told me to leave the car and that he couldn't take me. I asked him to try again and he said he would not. It was 3am, dark, and I was in a dimly limit area. I had never been to this location, or even the state of Utah before, and the driver refused to take me to the correct location. After trying to navigate by myself for 20 minutes, a friend fortunately picked me up and helped me to my location. Completely unacceptable at any time, and especially when it's 3am and the person is alone in an unfamiliar area. read more

Called for a ride from Huricane Ut to St George Avis rental car on University Ave. We were told the cost would be no more than $35.00 and that the driver would be at our location to pick up in 20-25 min. It took over an hour for the driver to pick us up, did call to let us know. The fare on the meter was already $3.00 when we began, he told us he was going a shorter way back but he took us 10 miles out of the way North of St George. The fare was NOT $35.00 it was $47.00 with a tip $50.00. Sounds like $50.00 is the magic amount for Taxi USA! read more

I had called ahead to schedule a pick up in the morning for my son and my son calls me the next morning and no taxi. He needed up missing his flight for his grandmothers 82nd Birthday. I called Taxi USA and they had it in their books to pick him up but the women forgot and didn't look at the books. I would never recommend or use this company. Upon calling for a cab we were told that it would be between 15 to 20 min wait (well you can drive clear across this small city in ten). It took half an hour for the cab to show up only to be told we got bumped down the list WTF and we would have to wait about 15 more minutes. OK now I am starting to lose my cool but kept it togather and said ok what ever. After waiting another 25 min the same cab show back up. He said he was sorry about the wait and told us the other driver got hung up. I am rating taxi USA minus 2 stars!! I was new to the area and used taxi USA frequently until the second time my credit card was charged without my knowledge. The first time I was "double charged" for one "ride". Driver said my card did not go through and swiped it again. I spoke to Sean (self proclaimed part owner), we came to an agreement of a credit(free ride for the amount I was over charged) The second time was a $35.00 charge and I had NOT USED THEIR SERVICES for almost a month. Sean said that it was "bizarre", but wanted to see my bank statement ... Made several appointments with me to see the charge on my statement, but never showed. I had to call my bank and explain the situation, cancel the card and a new card had to be issued. Really rotten way to treat a customer. I strongly advise to use the other stgeorgetaxi company. Defiantly pay close attention to your account statements if you use any form of Taxi USA/ Archer Transportation I rate this company minus 2 stars read more

Driver picked up my wife at the Las Vegas airport and brought her to St. George. This was a last minute situation and even though the flight was 45 minutes early, the driver was there on time. He was exceedingly polite, his car was clean and he got her to the destination in great time. The whole process was remarkably smooth. The taxis are very clean and the drivers are uniformly courteous. The owners are local and run an efficient and respectful business.

I completely trust and depend on TAXI USA! They are prompt, polite, the taxi's are clean and roomie. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with them. BJ was the last driver I had and saved me from having to walk my son to school in the rain. He got us there on schedule with time to spare. This is my first review here. One star for the driver's personality. Other 4 stars gone because I called for their rates, gave them the addresses and they quoted me $10 to $12. The driver took the slowest route and kept me distracted with a lot of talking. It was around 9 pm. The roads were almost no traffic. The fare ended up being $19. They advertise the lowest rates in town, but make up for it with the slowest ride in town, except maybe the bus. I'm a tipper and I found it embarrassing that I had nothing left over for a tip. Any slower, I would have walked the rest of the way home. They have been doing this plenty long to know how much it would cost. There was another route that would have taken about half the time. I feel they were being misleading just to get my business. Well, they are the only one I called. This was my first time ever taking a cab in St George. I lost my license for two years and in one ride, they just lost two years of my business. :( read more

Asked the price ahead of the ride, yet driver felt comfortable charging nearly twice as much. Quoted 25-30 from airport to home (a little less than 10 miles) but charged $45. No meter, of course, and no posted rate schedule. Had some lame excuse that it would have been cheaper to go to the far side of town?!? Apparently rates depend on what he thinks he can get away with.
