Truly terrifying ride, and I'm typing this as we go. Driver was almost a half hour late, which was not a huge deal but notification would have been nice since it is 112 degrees outside. Driver is beyond frazzled and appears to have some sort of cold. His driving is erratic and feels unsafe. Lots of weaving, sudden braking and accelerating. Hope we make it. At first everything started off ok. I was picked up on time. He hit the highway and bamb. This modified 18 wheeler rattle trap felt like it was going to fall apart! This vehicle needs to be TAKEN OFF THE ROAD!!!! The front end to the windows felt like it was going to fall into pieces. Michael Was nice not very chatty but he got us to the next stop. All of the transports were dirty felt like they haven't been cleaned in years, but one that flip the driver of the bus was clean. And one other sprint van was clean. She put me on hold and then she said yes, I said oh ok. Well low and behold yes there was a shelter that held 3-4 people no door or heat in the back of a closed store and I was told that no one was allowed in the red fort hotel due to someone ruined it for the rest of the drop off ever again. We had reservations for months to be picked up at the Casablanca casino for a shuttle ride to LAS to fly home for Christmas. My wife called the day before our scheduled ride to confirm and she was assured we were on the pick-up list. We walked to the Casablanca that morning (about 1.5 miles) only to be ghosted. My wife called the SLC shuttle and they confirmed the driver failed to stop and pick us up. They said to keep all receipts (since we had to Uber home and drive ourselves, as well as pay for 9 days airport parking). When we returned from our trip, we submitted all the receipts only to be told it was 'better for them not to refund us'. We will never use this company again. No wonder they have a 2.2 out of 5 rating. We never had any of these issues with St. George Shuttle. read more

The Salt Lake express shuttle never picked me up. On Monday, October 29, I had arranged for the Salt Lake express to pick me up at the Casablanca and take me to St. George. I confirmed the reservation by phone 45 minutes prior to the pick up time. I also received a confirmation via email at the same time. On my way to Casablanca, I called Salt Lake express to confirm that they were picking me up. The customer service advisor on the phone, called the driver and told me that she was about 15 minutes out. I wish to be picked up at 1:25. When they didn't show up, I called them at 1:30. I was told by a female customer service Representative that the driver had missed me, and did not have my name on her list of people to pick up. She stated that I only made the reservation five minutes before pick up time, but I told her that I had both called and spoke with the service representative and had received a confirmation email. Unfortunately, she was extremely rude on the phone. So I missed an appointment that I had in St. George. I normally take the St. George Shuttle, as it is very reliable however, on that day they were sold out. I am a Driver in Mesquite, and on numerous occasions I have picked people up at the Virgin River or Casablanca that the shuttle neglected to pick up. Not a good thing if you're trying to make your doctors appointment, or catching a flight out of Vegas. My advice would be to use the Saint George shuttle whenever possible to avoid being left at one of the casinos, when you have absolutely got to be someplace. read more

Salt Lake Express formerly the St George Express now renamed has more routes and destinations throughout the state. Friend had her car booted and towed by St George Shuttle. I'm not surprised to come on Yelp and see the SLC Express only has 2 stars. Awful company which is poorly run. They skipped my son's stop at SUU and he was left standing outside in 29 degree weather at 9:00 pm for 50 minutes. Two separate operators told me the driver skipped the SUU stop and neither could get the bus tracker working, nor could my son or I. I then had to leave LV at 10 pm and drive 6 hours round trip to pick up my son from college. The manager is refusing to refund me my $53. I should've expected something like this would happen eventually since the very first time we took the shuttle, the driver left 10 minutes early, knowingly leaving a passenger at the LV airport. Well, our driver was a real tired guy this morning and occasionally took out his phone or tablet to do... god knows what. It was nerve-racking as he drifted around in the lane OFTEN hitting the rumble strips. The LAST thing you wanna worry about is the driver falling asleep. Will not book again. Ever. Yawning, rubbing his eyes and playing with a tablet? This guy makes a better toddler at nap-time than a driver. I'm joking, but seriously it was terrifying. I spent 5+ hours watching this guy on the edge of my seat going "Dude!" every time he hit the rumble strips. My sister called and made a complaint and they said they'd call and talk to him. We made a stop in Fillmore and he got a coffee, but caffeine was like bullets to Superman: bounced right off! And he continued yawning and swerving... swerving and yawning... checking the tablet. I compiled this list of what I imagine would be his driving school course. 8 Rule For Long Drives With Paying Passengers: 1. Avoid caffeine. 2. Curves in the road are GONNA sneak up on you... can't be avoided, so just react violently when they do. 3. Get at least 2 hrs of sleep the night before a long drive. 4. Do not drop below 80mph at any point. 5. Do not engage in conversation with passengers if you feel tired. 6. Never admit defeat. No one's life ISN'T worth your pride. 7. Drink water from a large bottle that obstructs your view of the road ONLY while driving down steep, curving declines. (See rule #2) 8. Never taking Salt Lake Express anywhere ever again. The van sensors were jamming on the brakes probably due to wind-speed-trailer interactions. Several people asked driver to slow down, but he insisted on top speed. One man piped up from the back calmly and assertively. Driver said he should quit with the backseat driving or he'd start kicking people off the bus. He pulled over in "Nowhere, NV" and called the cops. Cop was professional and sorted it out, recommending that the driver slow down from 75 to 65 (which the driver said he couldn't do when we asked him to) and letting the passenger back on. We're on our way after a 20-minute needless stop, but two people might miss their flights now. When I called the shuttle office, I was told that I could get off the van if I liked, too. So incredibly unprofessional. Can't help but mention this: three white people complained before the black man who was threatened with police intervention and with being left behind. read more

I had a flight out of Vegas so was catching it in St George & booked per their schedule so I would make my flight. I got to them early & the driver dropped off his group coming from Vegas then told me he'd be back after he gas'd up. We all waited & waited & waited. He finally showed up 15 min after our scheduled departure time & said sorry I have too many hours so I can't drive you. You'll have to wait for them to find you another driver then proceeded to chat with a friend he saw leaving us to fend for ourselves. When the shuttle came to pick me up, there was only one other passenger. The ride from St George to Las Vegas was very smooth and peaceful. OMG. Arrived 3:40AM for a 4AM departure. Evidently SGE offers a taxi service to the shuttle and the shuttle was delayed to 4:20AM, waiting for their taxis to arrive. I had a flight departure from Vegas at 6AM. The delay caused me great anxiety and anguish from 4AM til I barely made my flight. The 20 minute delay nearly made me miss my flight (the airline agent told me if I was 1 minute later I would have not made my flight) with the potential of costing me considerable delay and money to book another flight. Dennis greats you warmly when you walk through the door. Lots of small talk while you wait for your shuttle to leave. You assume that when you book the shuttle for a 4 o'clock departure. The shuttle would leave at 4 o'clock. If not, maybe the driver would inform the passengers why it's not leaving on time. When I asked Dennis politely if we were still leaving at 4 he snapped back "nope we can't". No further explanation. I asked "we can't"? He then raised his voice and said "we can't it's impossible completely impossible" followed by "look I'm the driver and your the passenger". Actually it was passengers because I had the pleasure of being addressed that way in front of my 9 year old daughter. I remained quiet and didn't respond to his outburst. I honestly thought. This guy is unstable-leave it alone. Also I don't feel like missing my flight over this. As we begin to pull out of the parking lot almost 10 mins after 4pm he bellows (in front of everybody). "If you want to make a complaint my name is Dennis". I said ok nothing more. A few minutes goes by then again out loud making it awkward "just make sure you tell them we left a 4:05". I said no it was a few minutes later. In front of my daughter " you wanna dick around over a couple of minutes"? I said "there is a child in this car". Luckily one of the other passengers interceded telling the driver to cool it. Dennis continued to insult me under his breath but loud enough for me to hear. I get the labor market is tough and companies are hard pressed to find good people, but this display of disrespect to PAYING customers cannot go ignored. I was prepared to review them based on time left, comfort of ride, arriving on time and general customer service until this episode. Do yourself a favor and skip choosing Salt Lake Express Shuttle service. I had a 3:30 shuttle from the LV Airport back to St. George. My flight was delayed and I landed at 3:15. I tried to call and let them know I was on my way but they only had 3 people answering phones and I was #12 in the queue so I ran like crazy and I came out the doors on Level 0 at 3:29. The shuttle was already moving out of the parking lot, doors shut and coasting into traffic. I ran to catch them and was 100 feet away when they accelerated out into traffic and left. My wife was able to get thru right after this and customer service spoke to the driver who refused to come back and get me. I had to wait for 2 1/2 hours for the next shuttle. Interestingly, the 6:00 shuttle waited until 6:06 to leave because as the driver told us "we were waiting on one more passenger". Unbelievable! I would avoid these guys like the plague. Never again. I called and spoke to a manager who just made excuses and apologies. I will never ride them again. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I arrived at the shuttle stop 45min prior to my departure time (St. George to Las Vegas leaving 8:30pm) After waiting over 1hr, I asked the front desk reception where the shuttle was (at this point we were 15 min delayed). The receptionist told me there was a delay and no ETD. After 1,5 hours (45min delayed) a new driver showed up. The receptionist didn't communicate to us about the delay, or new plan. They were continuously on the phone with the manager and it was clear there was no plan. Our shuttle left 1hr 15min after the schedule time. I understand that delays can happen, however, customers deserve to be kept up to date on what's happening and we need to ensure we make our flight! Poor service all around. We use (unfortunately) this shuttle service all the time as my wife is an airline employee out of Las Vegas. Please read this review; as this is some of the WORST customer service you're ever likely to read a review on. My advice: Use St. George Shuttle if you have a choice!!! The drivers are great but the office manager, Lori, should be fired stat!!! This is a problem because odds are she'll be the one that takes your reservation over the phone. Or worse yet, she'll be the one to handle customer "service" if you ever have a problem (service in quotes because the only service Lori is capable of is the worst, most rude service imaginable)... We've had issues with rudeness before and dealt with it because the fares are reasonably priced. But no more! This week when my wife made and PREPAID for a reservation she was told by the self-described office manager, Laurie, over the phone as the shuttle pulled away, "you don't have a reservation." She then told my wife to "shut the h_ll up" and hung up on her. Upon arriving in St. George my wife and I went straight to their offices to show the charge on her Visa for the prepaid reservation that supposedly was nonexistent. Upon opening the door to the office, my wife said who she was, only to get the door slammed shut on her face immediately. The office manager shouted through the door, "l'm calling the police..." (YES, THIS REALLY HAPPENED!) My wife said "great" and waited for the police to arrive - which they did within a few minutes. My wife explained the situation to one of the officers and showed the charge on her Visa card for the prepaid reservation. The officer went to the door of the SG Express office and showed the office manager the charge. After a minute he returned with a paper showing a refund! All this after we were told no reservation existed!!! I'd love to hear the businesses' side of this! Who does business like this? Charges you in advance, rudely disputes your prepaid business and then calls the police on you 30 seconds (literally 30 seconds) after you show up in person to ask for a refund? "St. George Express shuttle, service so bad the cops will ask for your refund for you!" That should be this company's slogan. read more

I refer this shuttle company to ALL my business associates, friends, and family. Luckily, I've never had to interact with this lady before. The rudest customer service I've ever had. STAY AWAY! I have used St. George Express 3 times now to take flights from Las Vegas. On the last 2, they have had drivers not show up which made it tight getting to Vegas. One time another passenger drove us down there in her Van, and another the door to door guy didn't show up and the Van to Vegas left, even though they said they would hold it. Their Vans are in complete disrepair with cracked windshields and serious mechanical issues. The bus we just came back from Vegas had a giant crack in the windshield and shimmied so bad I thought my teeth would fall out. The lady driver was rude. Their office people are clueless, and are no help at all. Use a different shuttle service and take Uber to there. I have not tried the others but am fully disgusted with these people. One of two options to get to and from St George and Las Vegas airport. Their pricing structure is whack. They must use an algorithm or just make stuff up. One guy got on w/o reservation for $25, I had paid $25 online the week before, but then another guy reserved in advance online paid $37. There were only 3 of us on the shuttle. My ride yesterday had terrible AC for half of the ride and it never actually cooled off. For a two hour ride through the desert in the summer--you better have working AC. I usually check which shuttle service works best with my flights, but from now on I will think twice about using St George Express. read more

My son used St. George Express recently and the bus driver, Andy, went above and beyond to help out my son when he was in a tight spot, stranded with no money, even buying him a Thanksgiving meal when my son was not able to be with family. I used the Salt Lake Express myself a few weeks earlier with a different driver--a retired history teacher--who was just as kind as he could be. I do not remember his name but he, too, went beyond what would be expected and was extremely courteous to everyone on board. I would not hesitate to use this service again. read more

My husband and I took the shuttle from St. George, UT to Las Vegas airport. The shuttle had no air conditioning or water, so the trip was very uncomfortable. The shuttle driver stopped in Mesquite, AZ to pick up a passenger who was a half hour late, delaying 10 of us for 30 minutes getting to the airport for our flights. Go online get a quote and pay for it. From the time of the quote to the actual posted payment the price was changed and without notifying me they just overcharge me $9 extra. So I chat with the robot. Robot tells me there was a price change, offers a full refund without even an apology. I had to wiggle an apology out of the Robot. A person with common sense would have just made a 9$ adjustment. So the person on the other end may as well have been a Robot. But in a minute I went thru another shuttle company and the rate was even cheaper. I think this company runs on the apron strings of a company with a very similar name. Amazing service! I chose the door to door, and they picked me up at the airport and transported me to Americas Best Motel to catch the Vegas shuttle. It was a pleasant ride, in a comfortable shuttle with captains chairs. Had a delightful conversation with my neighbor.....Pets are allowed so if your allergic that is something you may want to consider. For a total of $36.00 I took a ride from St George to Vegas, and saved a lot of money flying out from Vegas versus SLC. I will take this shuttle again in April. Thanks so much! read more

Very hot vehicle to ride in for 2 hrs. from Vegas to St. George, UT at 11:30pm. Water they give you to drink was hot, no working usb ports or wi-fi. Driver states that they haven't worked for a very long time. The Cadillac's warning lights were going off on the dash all the way to St. George. Examples of some of the warning lights were low tire pressure and check engine which flashed in the message center for the entire ride. Driver was driving 90 mph on interstate and came into the Virgin River Gorge to fast and rode the brakes until they were hot and smelled. Driver said unlike the other service he was paid by the job and not the hour so he was going to hurry home. Have already paid for return service and hope it is a lot better. ANYTHING BUT EXPRESS!! Traveled to St. George on a daytrip for interview from LA area. The company arranged my travel and flew me to Las Vegas but put me on St. George express between LAS airport and St. George. I feel bad writing a 1 star review given the uneventful drive to St. George and the fact that we got in 30 minutes early, but the return to Las Vegas more than warrants it. After my interview I was dropped off at the St. George office and was told that the shuttle was 15-20 minutes behind schedule. Not great because everyone on that shuttle had a flight to catch but whatever because I had a buffer. Got onboard around 30 minutes after we had been scheduled to leave, only for that van to break down so we were put on another vehicle. The driver then literally drove us around town for 30 minutes, first stopping to get gas and then driving to the other end of town to pick people up. Eventually, we ended up BACK at the St. George office and waited a few minutes while the driver had to address some issue. Finally, we left St. George more than an hour later than scheduled, only for there to be traffic on I-15 so we had to take the long way to Vegas. Made a couple of stops along the way, so much for this service being an "express". Our driver, David, was pretty good but I wish he had been a bit more sensitive to the fact that people were literally about to miss their flights (he waited until everyone on board was clearly frustrated to apologize for the delay and asked to make a bathroom stop when people were complaining they were going to miss their flights). Arrived at Las Vegas airport an hour and 15 mins later than planned, directly causing me to miss my flight (I had been scheduled to arrive at LAS 2 hours before my departure). Luckily, the company I interviewed with put me on another flight but otherwise I wouldn't have had much protection. Thanks to your company, I went from having adequate time to get on my flight to missing it by quite a bit. To management: the fact that your service is this unreliable is seriously unacceptable. You guys clearly don't make it a point to leave St. George on time (in fact there was another delayed shuttle to Las Vegas when I arrived in St. George). Also, for an "express" service to have to make that many stops and take that nany detours is seriously disgraceful. People are literally counting on you guys to make their fights and you are shamelessly letting them down. Your company needs to clearly a) budget more time to travel to and from Las Vegas if you guys are actually going to make stops along the way (again, not made clear on your website) and/or b) simply do something to address this pathetic quality of service and unreliability. My review about this company based on my experience today... 7/Aug2017 First and last... if I could select 0 star I would. This place was a complete joke, a disaster rather that would have cost me thousands of dollars if I had missed my international flight. First, the scheduled departure time for my shuttle was 8:15pm and I was not picked up by door to door service until 8:36pm. I was taken to the office on rush running red lights by the driver who claimed it was his first day on the job. Got to the office and Morgan the receptionist was on the phone with the shuttle driver who had already left trying to get him to turn around. The driver hung up on her. Morgan turned around, with no apology, and said the shuttle left and I'll be on the next shuttle at 9:55pm. I immediately replied that was not going to work for me as I have an international flight at 12am heading to NZ and that they need to make other arrangements. There was no response so I suggested, take my money and pay for the next St. George Shuttle leaving at 9:15pm. Morgan said she talked to her manager Chris Williamson and he said they can refund my money but cannot arrange travel with St. George Shuttle. Needless to say, I had to rush out of there to organize other arrangements or I'll miss my flight that cost me $3000+ on air fares not including booked hotels. Glad they were willing to drive me to St George Shuttle. So my review. .. 1. The company employees including their manager Chris Williamson do not have any customer service skills. I would have been happy and avoided all this if they stepped up and fix their scheduling issue. Customer Service rating: 0% 2. Customer Experience rating: 0% 3. Lack of confidence and experience in dealing with shuttle schedule and picking up passengers timely. Competency rating: 0% 4. Communication between the office and shuttle drivers is very poor evidenced by their phone conversation. Communication rating: 0% 5. Safety is a huge concern here. Running red lights is not only a traffic violation but a huge risk putting self and others in danger. Safety rating: 0% 6. My first experience with St. George Express started out well; The price was great and the person I made my reservation with was very helpful and polite. I ended up on their large white bus from Las Vegas to St. George and the experience went downhill from there. The large white bus sounded like it was going to fall apart the entire trip. The rattling noise inside was loud enough that riding comfortably, let alone sleeping, was not an option. Most of the ride was very noisy due to various rattling sounds of various parts of the bus. There was also duct tape used to hold part of a seat together in front of me. The driver left the airport 20 minutes behind schedule (despite their website stating that airport rules require them to leave no later than 5 minutes after their scheduled departure time). For reasons no one on the bus understood, the driver also insisted the interior bus lights remain on the entire trip even though we were traveling at night. Riders repeatedly tried to turn off their overhead lights, but had no success as the driver had overridden user controls of the lights with the master switch. Their website states that all their busses and shuttles have WiFi. Not this bus. The price was much less than competitors. I will try St. George Express in the future on hopefully one of their smaller shuttles, but skip the big white bus. It's an accident waiting to happen (or fall apart) it seems. read more
